Auto-ID industries and their services have been improved since decades ago, and radio frequency identification (RFID) has been contributing in many applications. Product management can be the foremost example. In our industrial experiences, RFID in ultra high frequency (UHF) band provides much longer interrogation ranges than that of 13.56MHz; many more applications exist thereby. There should be several interesting and useful ideas on UHF RFID; however, those ideas can be limited due to the inevitable environmental circumstances that restrict the interrogation range in shorten value. This paper discusses the propagation interference among different types of readers (e.g, mobile RFID readers in stationary reader zone) in dense-reader environment. In most cases, UHF RFIDs in Korea will be dependent on the UHF mobile RFIDs. In this sense, the UHF mobile users accidently move into the stationary reader's interrogation zone. This is serious problem. In this paper, we analyze propagation loss and propose the effective channel allocation scheme that can contribute developing less-invasive UHF RFID networks. The simulation and practical measurement process using the commercial CAD tools and measurement equipments are presented.
Background: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) patients demonstrate multiple symptoms in diagnosis and treatment processes. This cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to determine the symptoms and symptom clusters in such patients receiving chemotherapy. Materials and Methods: The study was carried out on a total of 110 inpatients and outpatients receiving treatment in 7 hospitals in Ankara, Turkey. A questionnaire form and the Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale (MSAS) were applied. Percentages, means, t test, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and cluster analysis were used for statistical analyses. Results: The most prevalent symptoms in this study were lack of energy, hair loss and change in the way food tastes. The most severe symptoms were hair loss, change in the way food tastes and constipation. The top three most distressing symptoms were taste change, constipation and mouth sores. Seven symptom clusters were determined in this study. Conclusions: Findings of the study will provide an understanding of symptom experiences of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma patients receiving chemotherapy and will guide determining appropriate nursing interventions. Receiving care of desired quality will contribute to increasing quality of life of affected individuals.
To develop prevention messages for increasingly severe adolescent obesity in China. this study tested interaction effects between obesity involvement and message framing, and between obesity involvement and evidence types on obesity prevention attitudes and behavioral intentions. Message framing types are categorized with a gain frame and a loss frame. Evidence types are classified into narratives based on personal experiences and statistics based on objective numerical proofs. Three hundred sixty eight Chinese adolescents participated in the study. Results found that involvement, framing, and evidence types had significant effects on attitudes and behavioral intentions to obesity prevention. Adolescents highly involved in obesity were more likely to show positive attitudes and behavioral intentions when exposed to loss framing and statistical evidence. Those with low involvement showed positive attitudes and behavioral intentions after exposed to gain framing and narratives. Thus, we suggest that loss frames with numerical data should be developed to persuade adolescents with high involvement, and gain frames with narratives should be developed for those with low involvement.

Background The goal of reconstruction is to provide coverage of exposed vital structures with well-vascularized tissue for optimal restoration of form and function. Here, we present our clinical experience with the use of the scapular fascial free flap to correct facial asymmetry and to reconstruct soft tissue defects of the extremities. Methods We used a scapular fascial free flap in 12 cases for soft tissue coverage of the extremities or facial soft tissue augmentation. Results The flaps ranged in size from $3{\times}12$ to $13{\times}23$ cm. No cases of total loss of the flap occurred. Partial loss of the flap occurred in 1 patient, who was treated with a turnover flap using the adjacent scapular fascial flap and a skin graft. Partial loss of the skin graft occurred in 4 patients due to infection or hematoma beneath the graft, and these patients underwent another skin graft. Four cases of seroma at the donor site occurred, and these cases were treated with conservative management or capsulectomy and quilting sutures. Conclusions The scapular fascial free flap has many advantages, including a durable surface for restoration of form and contours, a large size with a constant pedicle, adequate surface for tendon gliding, and minimal donor-site scarring. We conclude that despite the occurrence of a small number of complications, the scapular fascial free flap should be considered to be a viable option for soft tissue coverage of the extremities and facial soft tissue augmentation.
Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11) uses traditional TCP for reliable data transmission, But it brings the unintentional packet loss which is not congestion loss caused by handoff, interference, and fading in wireless LAN. In wireless LAN, TCP experiences performance degradation because it consumes that the cause of packet loss is congestion, and it decrease the sending rate by activating congestion control algorithm. This paper analyzes that correlation of throughput and buffer size for wireless buffer tuning. We find MBT (Maximum Buffer Threshold) which does not increase the throughput through the analysis, For calculation of MBT, we experiment the throughput by using high volume music data which is creased by real-time performance of piano. The experiment results is shown that buffer tuing based on MBT shows 20.3%, 21.4%, and 45.4% throughput improvement under 5ms RTT, 10ms RTT, and 20ms RTT, respectively, comparing with the throughput of operation system default buffer size, In addition, we describe that The setting of TCP buffer size by exceeding MBT does not have an effect on the performance of TCP.

Due to the increasing needs of land supply, green space has been continuously encroached and resulted considerable naturality deterioration in Korea. In order to overcome the problem, it is necessary to introduce a integrated system for managing the quantitative and qualitative aspects of green space. With this regard, this study is to derive the feasibility for the adoption of the 'no net loss of green' policy to Korea from German and Japanese experiences. In Germany, natural resources are protected and inevitable damages were compensated through the adoption of 'interference regulation'. In Japanese case, future green space and artificial green foundation should be specified on the green basic plan which pursuit the improvement of naturality. In order to introduce the 'no net loss of green' policy to Korea, not only awareness raising on integrated green management system but also amendment of related regulations are needed. In detail, restoration and recovery on the damaged nature should be clearly elucidated and indicators to evaluate the current naturality and calculation methods for the restoration should be developed. Should this integrated green management system introduced, deterioration of naturality by development activities could be minimized thorough the adoption of land development permission criteria and green space management methodologies.
Caring for patients with cancer is highly stimulating and rewarding, attracting health professionals to the field who enjoy the challenge of managing a complex illness. Health professionals often form close bonds with their patients as they confront ongoing disease or treatment impacts, which may be associated with multiple losses involving function and/or eventual loss of life. Ongoing exposure to patient loss, along with a challenging work setting, may pose significant stress and impact health professionals' well-being. The prevalence rates of burnout and compassion fatigue (CF) are significant, yet health professionals have little knowledge on these topics. A 6-week continuing education program consisting of weekly small-group video-conferencing sessions, case-based learning, and an online community of practice was delivered to health care providers providing oncology care. Program content included personal, organization and team-related risk and protective factors associated with CF, grief models, and strategies to mitigate against CF. Content analysis was completed as part of the program evaluation. In total, 189 participants (93% nurses) completed the program, which was associated with significant improvements in confidence and knowledge of CF and strategies to support self and team resilience. Qualitative themes and vignettes from experiences with the program are presented. Key themes included knowledge gaps, a lack of support related to CF and strategies to support resilience, organization-and team-based factors that can inhibit expression about the impacts of clinical work, the health professional as a "person" in caregiving, and the role of personal variables, self-skill practices, and recommendations for education and support for self and teams.

ICZM(integrated coastal zone management) is recognized globally as an optimal solution on coastal issues and problems because it aims integration of all the different programs and stakeholders on coastal interests. Evaluation of ICZM program is also recognized globally for the success of ICZM because we can get many useful experiences and learning through evaluation. There are many issues and problems in coastal zone in Korea such as coastal development, wetland loss, deterioration of water quality, decreasing of fisheries stocks, limit of public access, etc. Recently highly centralized ICfM has been introduced in Korea but there are so high barrier between ICZM program and other relevant sectors. This paper tries to fond factors to evaluate and further evolution of ICZM in Korea which is very centralized system.

Statistical energy analysis is suitable for shipboard noise prediction in many respects. It could effectively model the large and complicated ship structures for noise analysis. This paper introduces the procedure of SEA for shipboard noise analysis gained from author's experiences in the past few years. Also, prediction accuracies of shipboard noise analysis using statistical energy analysis are discussed. It is found that the prediction results could be much improved when using the actual measured data of source levels and material properties such as loss factors, absorption coefficients and etc.
