물류망 설계 및 계획을 위한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이터의 개발 (Development of a Logistics Network Simulator)

  • Logistics network management has become one of the most important sources of competitive advantage regarding logistics cost and customer service in numerous business segments. Logistics network simulation is a powerful analysis method for designing and planning the logistics network optimally in an integrated way. This paper introduces a logistics network simulator, LONSIM, developed by author. LONSIM deploys a mix of simulation and optimization functions to model and analysis logistics network issues such as facility location, inventory policy, manufacturing policy, transportation mode, warehouse assignment, supplier assignment, order processing priority rule, and vehicle routes. LONSIM is built with AweSim 2.1 and Visual Basic 6.0, and executed in windows environment.

중국의 물류네트워크 및 경제발전 (Logistics network and economic development in China)

  • 물류시스템은 점점 더 중국의 경제성장을 위한 중요한 원동력 중 하나로 인정받고 있습니다. 물류효과의 폭이 넓어의 범위와 중국의 물류인프라, 물류산업의 발전과 함께 급속한 발전을 이루었습니다. 이 논문은 중국에서 2003년부터 2012년까지 기간 동안 31 지방을 포함하는 데이터 집합을 사용하여, 물류 발전과 경제 성장 사이의 관계를 조사합니다. 요인분석은 국가경제성장의 물류의 발전에 미치는 영향을 정의물류함수의 전체평가를 얻기 위해 적용됩니다. 고정효과패널 데이터의 접근방식에 따르면, 중국의 경제성장에 물류발전의 중요하고 긍정적인 영향은 그사이에, 해안지방과 내장 지방 사이 의 경제발전에 대한비교분석 도 실시, 발견된다. 결과는 경제성장에 물류발전의 영향은 서부지역에 비해 동부지역에서 높은 것이 좋습니다.

  • As Global industrial structure is diversified, multinational corporations accomplished fast internationalization to introduction of new management policy by development of an IT technology. Enterprise' business environment is changing transcending border. To overcome raging waves of change accident and to be secured enterprise's future, the logistics is recognized the third profit source joining in curtailment of sale enlargement, production cost. To seek cost saving or reform in logistics class that is last area of pursuit of profits within ancient city life in the fast lane from these viewpoint, importance of study that integrates and manages international logistics bases supply neck walk is emphasized. Specially, to meet on in terms of competitive power security regarding curtailment of logistics cost is available through link between logistics bases, various consumer's request, merchandise and service logistics management that supply fixed quantity as is reliable in right place at good season was embossed by point game plan of business management, and SCM efficiency anger of mortification international logistics activity importance of study that see at that dominate competitive advantage point bring. This study analyzes interrelation and presents model for integration of international logistics bases supply network with supply network habit at factor and supply chain, and supply network activity in integration of supply chain process and production. Also, it establishes following method of study to achieve study purpose for actual proof analysis for integration sequence of international logistics bases supply network. Specially, immersion of network and supply network, very high interrelation appeared by thing which is with international logistics base supply network integration. The integration of international logistics base supply network means that the enterprises which give trust and sincerity deal with market environment change positively and can decide proceeding of various cooperative work. Also, it means the possibility by necessity of cooperative relation and interdependence to continuous immersion and normative immersion, for the maintain of long business relations.

  • The core of this research studies the strategic alliance of airlines, container shipping liners, and port operators that have shown successful results through the recent differentiated strategic Alliance Network, although a difference of scale exists between these firms and the small and mid-sized International Logistics firms, but because of the worldwide traditional Alliance Network of International Logistics firms, HTFN's(High Tech Forwarder Network) half hearted attitude and the small scale alliance of the small and mid-sized International Logistics firms organized in 1998 cannot breakthrough the present strenuous situation. And these results, creating an attempt to save our country's International Logistics Industry which have fallen into depression, suggests an awakening of a new strategy based on specialized nationals innovative IT-which does not exist in the world market-by categorizing our country's small and mid-sized International Logistics firms which are active worldwide.

AHP법을 이용한 한중간 물류네트워크 구축에 따른 우선과제 평가에 관한 연구 (On the Consideration of Logistics Network Establishment and Priority Evaluation between Korea and China Using AHP method)

  • It is an urgent problem that Korea logistics enteprises' expansion of advance into China market and the logistics network establishment between Korea and China to back up the former are to be solved. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to deduce the subjects to establish the logistics network between Korea and China, and to evaluate the priority order. The results of this research are as follows: First, we conducted face-to-face interviews on the advisery group in China and Korean enterprises which advanced into China, and drew out 6 promoting subjects to build the logistics network between the two. Second, the AHP model was adopted, which is a multi-criteria?multi-hierarchical decision making method, to draw out the weight and priority order of the deduced 6 promoting items. Third, the resultant priority order of the promoting subjects is as follows: No.1 - to establish the distribution & logistics support center by region(0.3900); No.2 - to support various taxes in investing the logistics business abroad(0.1980) ; No.3 - to improve the management of CIQ(0.1958); No.4 - to back up the joint-venture of logistics firms(0.1169); No.5 - to enhance trade and foreign policies to deregulate the entry into logistics markets(0.0536); No.6 - to construct the logistics information system of China(Northest Ssia)(0.0458). This paper resulted in finding out Korea logistics enterprises that have not secured their own inland-transport network in China and the actual difficulties of Korean enterprises with using the inferior network that advanced into China. These problems were developed into the analysis adopting the AHP method, and the significancy of this paper is to present the priority order of promoting problems using a sophisticated technique.

Trend Analysis on Korea's National R&D in Logistics

  • This study examined how national research and development (R&D) in the domain of logistics has changed recently in the Republic of Korea. We conducted basic statistical analysis and social network analysis on 5,327 logistics-related R&D projects undertaken during 2005-2019. Data for performing these analyses were collected from the R&D database of the National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS). By constructing a co-occurrence matrix with keywords, we conducted degree and betweenness centrality analysis and visualized the network matrix to display a cluster map. This study presents our observations related to the following findings: (1) the chronical trends of logistics R&D, (2) focused fields of logistics R&D, (3) the relations among keywords, and (4) the characteristics of logistics R&D. Finally, we suggest policy implications to boost and diversify logistics R&D.

물류 분야 학술지의 공저자 네트워크 및 연구주제 분석 (A Study on Co-authorship Network in the Journals of a Branch of Logistics)

  • In this study, we investigate the cooperative relationships between researchers who have co-authorship in the logistics-related journals in Korea by using social network analysis (SNA). We analyzed the co-authorship data of 781 articles published from 2005 to 2011 in four journals of 'Logistics Study', 'Journal of Korean Society of SCM', 'Korea Logistics Review' and 'Journal of Shipping and Logistics.' We examined the trend of cooperative research in the field of logistics with basic data of the co-authorship network. Then, we analyzed structural properties of the network and the sub-networks of research groups having co-authorship. We could verify the authors who play important roles within the network by using SNA indicators. In addition, we constructed the keyword networks based on the keyword data of all articles by research groups in order to understand the research topics of each group, and thereby we could draw several implications on the cooperative researches in the field of logistics.

중국 물류네트워크의 생산성과 한국의 글로벌통상전략 (Productivity on the Chinese Logistics Network and Korean Economic Strategy)

  • The paradigm of the global logistics network has been rapidly changing from traditional concept of productivity in cost terms, toward the new characteristics of innovative productivity in terms of economies of scale, economies of scope, and economies of network. As the ship or airplane becomes larger and speedier, the less logistics hub required. The more diverse logistics parties integrate each other horizontally or vertically, the higher synergy effects they get. The more systematic concurrent engineering available for global supply chain management such as Korean manufacturers in China, the higher productivity they get. The paper analyzes these three paradigms of logistics into the application for the Korean manufacturers in China and concludes that the Korean government, the companies in China should be more focused on the governance of the logistics and the intermediary such as the 4th party logistics(4PL) is definitely developed its role and functions based on three paradigms above mentioned.

국내 완성차 물류 네트워크 합리화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Outbound Logistics Network Rationalization of Domestic Automobile Industry)

  • Many of logistics-related research in automobile industry has focused on inbound logistics and procurement. Research into outbound logistics is relatively few. As a starting research into outbound logistics in automobile industry, this paper examined its logistics network problems with three aspects - location strategy, inventory strategy and transportation strategy. We proposed alternatives of logistics network design resolution, and presented three practical scenarios based on those alternatives. Based on interview, on-site visit and internal data collection processes, we identified major domestic outbound logistics problems such as redundant logistics bases, inefficient delivery policy, insufficient inventory capacity, inventory stock quality deterioration, inefficient transportation system, and etc. In order to cope with those problems, we proposed such strategic alternatives as introduction of hub-and-spoke system, integration of logistics bases, introduction of (automatic) parking building, diversification of transportation mode, and etc. At the same time, we constructed three practically executable scenarios based on those ideas. The first is "Center Hub" scenario, the second is "Metropolitan Hub" scenario. The third and last scenario is "Regional Consolidation of Warehouses (distribution centers)".

  • During last ten years, logistics network management has become one of the most important sources of competitive advantage regarding logistics cost and customer service in numerous business segments. The key to success in this dynamic and severe business environment is the ability to design and plan the logistics network optimally in an integrated way. Network design and planning involves many issues relating to strategic, tactical, and operational decisions. To assist a logistics designer or planner, many computer-based decision support systems (DSS) have been developed. In this paper, the issues related to design, development, and implementation of the DSS for logistics network design and planning are discussed, and an ideal framework of the DSS is proposed with some ideas on the future development. Finally, DLNET, the DSS developed by author, is briefly introduced.
