Nursing theory is used to explain the goals and functions of nursing and improve practical affairs by providing information and knowledge about the principles which become the foundation of nursing practical affairs. Theoretical analytical compliance with C-T-E (Conceptual-Theoretical-Empirical) structures by Fawcett (1999) whose evaluation method illustrates the relationship of conceptual models, theory, research and structure. The evaluation allows the nurse to visualize the connection, evaluate research, and reduce errors in research. Consequently present doctorate dissertations in nursing science are theoretical propriety, connection in the structure of concepts, theory, research methods, and evaluation to reduce errors in future research plans and division of theoretical development process. So the following verifies logicality, propriety, and reliability which must apply to research in various different fields.

This paper propose the control algorithm for improving the power quality through the voltage compensation when source voltage is dropped. The algorithm signified occurrence of voltage drop in source voltage of each phase storing source voltage for two cycles using the concept of moving average and using the source voltage of last half cycle. If there are voltage drops in the source voltages, series active power filter compensates the differences between reference waveform and source voltage waveform. Therefore, voltage drop is compensated. It proposed series active power filter of three phases three lines to apply to the proposed algorithm and the presented experiment results verified logicality and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Normally, the government or a local autonomous entity selects urban railway(subway, light rail transits etc.) system after investigating logicality about a route and announcing officially for people's convenience if the system is decided, suppliers of equipment(train, transformer, trolly wire, signal, communication, PSD, AFC etc.) are selected and ordering go forward. Stabilization of a total system is need for smooth train operation before opening to traffic by design, installation, total trial operation So, a measure against interface disharmony between each equipment is need. This treatise deals with the systematic method of management and items for interface plan from system design to opening on the evidence of experience of Gwangju subway total interface.

Purpose: This study was done to analyze core competencies affecting critical thinking ability of student nurses. Core competencies investigated in this study were problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability. Method: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 322 student nurses in 2 provinces during the period from May 21 to June 8, 2007. Critical thinking, problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability were measured using the Disposition towards Critical Thinking Scale by Park(1999-a) and the Core Competencies Scale by Lee(2003). Descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant differences in the critical thinking according to grade, type of high school, experience with PBL, preference for lecture-based learning, preference for discussion and perceived logicality. The score for critical thinking showed significantly positive correlations with scores for problem solving ability(r=0.54, p=0.00), communication ability(r=0.56, p=0.00) and self-directed learning ability(r=0.54, p=0.00). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability are significant factors affecting critical thinking in student nurses.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of classification systems provided by major Korean search portals, Naver, Nate, Daum, and Yahoo-Korea. These classification systems are evaluated in terms of the consistency of classification system, logicality of classification system, ease of interface, clarity of category names, order of category and site listing, and hierarchical structure. The results of this study show that each search portal provides separate classification systems for their services. These results imply that it is crucial for search portals to implement a common classification system and a common interface for their services. This study could contribute to the development and improvement of portals' classification systems.

In order to search for the causes of having difficulty with the scientification task of the Korean medicine, the definition and conception of science were reviewed first and then formalization of reasoning scheme and a practical method of scientification were proposed. Science in its definition is meant by foundation of method and system for production of scientific knowledge not by knowledge of science itself. The formation of science is composed of complex processes including not only scientific knowledge but also politicosocial output containing activity of scientist society, spreading of social value and intercommunication. The production of scientific knowledge of Korean medicine is begun from logicality of the differential diagnosis and treatment theory through abductive verification of analogical inference by yinyang and 5 phase theory. For the commensurability between the various heterogenic theories within Korean medicine, the scientific activity of collecting, compiling, analyzing, distributing, and discussing the significant knowledge gained through abductive verification in the experiment and clinical process should be formed broadly. Based on these knowledge database, organization of scientist society with Korean medicine, life science, medical engineering, social expansion and generalization of pattern conception, and then social propagation and contribution for national health should be driven forward.

This study has purpose of minimizing damage from fire incident as analyzing the fire characteristic about fire incident of multi-use hostels, which is increasing recently. For this, CFAST, a verified analysis program for the fire incident was employed to prove the logicality of the study by comparing with a established result of the research work and working the fire simulation for an apartment house. On the basis of this, the study will help to improve safety of fire by analyzing the fire characteristic of Karaoke and Gosiwon which are typical model of multi-use hostels and by establishing how to deal with the fire incident.

Internal and external railway management corporations are using the periodic replacement criteria of rail by accumulated passing tonnage and wear to maintain rails for servicing. However, internal the periodic replacement criteria of continuous welded rail(CWR) by accumulated passing tonnage is the one(50kg/m-5 million gross tonnage, 60kg/m-6 million gross tonnage) presented in Japan before. It was estimated with the fatigue life about 50kg N rail joints applied diesel train load but it wasn't applied to current conditions of track; elimination of rail joint, using the concrete slab track and operation of light train load and effect of welding, manufacturing technique, grinding of rail. Therefore, in this study, it was investigated the types of damage and cause in welded rails and examined standards and information resources. Also, this study presents preliminary data to revise the periodic replacement criteria of CWR by current accumulated passing tonnage in bending test of laid welded rail and a survey of track maintenance history of Seoul metro.

Underwater ultrasonic communication is critical to explore and development ocean using instrument. Essential to these applications is the reliable teleoperation and telemetering of the unit. But the problem is that the controllability of the instrument and the reliability of submarine communication are decreased, as so various passive noises are generated. In the existing methods, the control informations, received from an observation instrument, are identified used by hardware and repeatedly compared with standard information. However, such a method weakens the efficiency in controllability-centered systems. This study presents an ultrasonic signal detection algorithm that can identify the ultrasonic signal without the influence of disturbances due to underwater environmental changes. Likewise, the logicality of detection algorithm were ascertained by simulation.

The most famous thought of Dongjungseo's must be 'the Sky-Earth Response Theory.' The theory includes the Same 'Gi' Correspondence(the Same Category Homology) and explains the relationship between the nature and the men based on Yin-Yang. This theory, commonly studied by the scholars of the political science, however, has been constituting the foundation of the oriental medicine. Also, he insists many other theories related to Yin-Yang including the natural calamity, the treatise of human nature, the name and reality, and the national school of Confucianism, etc. This paper covers the Yin-Yang theory, particularly with regard to ethics. politics, human nature of Dongjungseo, and the comparison of his Yin-Yang and that of the Emperor Inner Cannon. Dongjungseo insists on the harmony of Yin-Yang just only in the area of health care, excluding other areas such as state and family governance. However, in contrast, he asserts the Yang central idea for what he defined as the order of a family, a society and a state. This presents his contradiction and logicality. In the last part of this paper, his logical flaws would be discussed and analysed. However, he is a lucky scholar, because his Yang central idea has been successfully governing peoples for a long time, despite such imperfection and contradiction in his studies.
