As port functions change to act as an economic catalyst and take on a central position in industries engaged in international trade, port hinterland has become a significant component in international shipping. The success of port hinterland as a strategic base of logistic activities critically depends on location selection factor for international distribution center that links elements of global supply chain management. By examining multi-measurement items empirically, this paper analyzed location selection factor for international logistics distribution center in port hinterland, and evaluated Busan new port hinterland from the user's perspective. Employing exploratory factor analysis, the results revealed that the model structured around five factors incorporating geo-location and accessibility, availability, political supports, cost factors, and quality of business environment is valid and reliable in the context of the location selection factors for logistics distribution center in the context of port hinterland operations. The evaluation of Busan new port hinterland provides useful insights for strategic improvement to accommodate the users' expectation. Further, the model offers both a descriptive and diagnostic strategic management tool for port hinterland development and operations, to guide future improvement.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumers' selection attributes of social enterprises type cafe by IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire by 309 random consumers in several social enterprises type cafes in Seoul and Gyonggi area. The data was analyzed using SPSS windows(ver. 17.0) for descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and factor analysis. The importance of cafe's selection attributes were divided into five factors including 'promotion and menu', 'service quality and atmosphere', 'location', 'taste', and 'brand name'. The mean scores of importance and performance for cafe selection attributes were 4.01 and 3.68 out of 5, showing a significant difference between importance and performance. According to the IPA results of 17 selection attributes for social enterprises type cafe, the selection attributes with relatively low performance but high importance(II quadrant) was 'easy accessibility'. The factor to be improved through the IPA was accessibility factor, showing that the consumers had a low satisfaction compared to the significance of cafe's location.

Logistics parks make profits using the efficiency of time and space. Such logistics parks play an important role in a corporation creating operating profits as well as acting as a method of alternative investment for individuals. Logistics parks no longer simply store materials, but have become a place that plays an important role in various areas of corporate and individual activities, and thus the analysis of the selection of the location of logistics parks and the related characteristics is extremely important. There are many existing studies on the selection of locations of logistics parks but work on the factors related to location selection by industry seem lacking. As such, in the course of this study we have used preceeding studies to draft a questionnaire on which selection factors affect the selection of logistics park location in different industries and conducted empirical analysis of the questionnaire results to uncover the factors that affect the selection of the locations of logistics parks in different industries.

본 연구에서는 대전광역시를 대상으로 향후 카쉐어링 서비스를 제공할 경우를 가정하고 위치 선정방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 GIS Arc/Info 10 소프트웨어를 활용하여 대전광역시 전역을 $500m{\times}500m$ 크기의 셀로 구분하고 카쉐어링 서비스에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 요인들을 선정하고 각 요인들의 값을 표준화하는 과정을 거쳤다. AHP 기법을 도입하여 각 요인별 가중치를 전문가 설문을 통해 결정하고 모든 셀($500m{\times}500m$ 크기)별로 적합도 지수를 산정하였으며, 네트워크 분석(Network Analysis)모듈에 내장되어있는 입지배분모델(Location-allocation Model)을 이용하여 서비스 시설의 위치를 30개의 권역으로 선정하는 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 카쉐어링 서비스 위치선정을 위한 방안은 향후 카쉐어링 서비스가 도입될 때 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 향후 적정한 수요의 추정과 경제성 검토 등에 대한 추가연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

Purpose - The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has promulgated strict regulations on emissions in the maritime shipping industry. LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is, therefore, recognized as the optimal fuel alternative solution. The aim of this study is to select the most suitable location for an LNG bunkering port. This is formulated as a multiple-criteria ranking problem regarding four candidate ports in South Korea: the ports of Busan, Gwangyang, Incheon, and Ulsan. Design/Methodology/approach - An analysis employing the Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relation (CFPR) methodology is carried out, and the multiple-criteria evaluation of various factors influencing the location selection, such as the average loading speed of LNG, the number of total ships, the distance of the bunkering shuttle, and the degree of safety is performed. Then, based on the combination of both the collected real data and experts' preferences, the final ranking of the four ports is formulated. Findings - The port of Busan ranks first, followed by the ports of Gwangyang and Ulsan, with the port of Incheon last on the list. Originality/value - The Korean government could proceed with a clear vision of the candidate ports' ranking in terms of the LNG bunkering terminal selection problem.

본 연구는 마리나 건설 최적의 대상지를 결정하기 위하여 여러 가능해역 중에서 최적의 장소를 결정하는 것이다. 마리나 건설 후보지 선정 문제를 다루기 위해서 여수시 인근의 10개의 후보지를 대상으로 10개의 결정 요인들을 분석하여 최적의 장소를 선정한다. 본 논문에서는 가장 합리적인 장소를 결정하기 위하여 새로운 모델인 0-1정수 최적계획모형이 제안된다. 제안된 모형은 지금까지 최적 마리나 시설 분석 문제에 적용된 사례가 없다. 본 논문은 가장 합리적인 장소를 결정하는데 기여할 뿐만 아니라 제안된 모형은 타 지역의 마리나 시설 건설 후보지 선정 문제에도 적용할 수 있다.

The expansion on the scale of international trade and rapid economic growth in Northeast Asia have caused intense competition among global companies for securing international logistics center in Northeast Asia. Analyzing location competitiveness for international logistics center in Northeast Asia, this paper aims to extract implications for enhancing locational competitiveness. Employing the relative importance among location selection factors extracted from AHP analysis in prior study, we evaluated the major five port-cities in Northeast Asia including Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Qingdao and Tokyo. In the evaluations, Shanghai (3.926) ranked as the first, followed by Busan (3.859), Qingdao (3.555), Tokyo (3.013) and Gwangyang (2.915). Furthermore, the causal relationships between determinants for location choice decision (logistics factor, cost factor, market factor, service factor and environmental factor) and dependent variables (competitiveness of international logistics center, potentiality to growth, present intention to move into and future plan to move into) were analyzed to provide implications. Results provide useful insights for further improvements, and helps strategic agenda for future development of port-cities.

대형마트보다 저렴하고 편의성도 높은 창고형 매장에 대한 물류 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 하지만 창고형 매장의 통합 Depot 위치선정에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 통합 Depot 위치선정을 위한 요인도출 및 가중치 산출, 대상지의 위치 우선순위 산정을 다기준 의사결정 방법인 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)방법을 도입하여 계산하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 분석결과, 선정 요인별 중요도에서는 수배송 비용절감(0.198)이 가장 높게 나왔으며, 수배송 거리절감(0.168), 수배송 시간절감(0.149) 순으로 도출 되었다. 본 연구 결과는 Depot를 통합 운영 시 비용 절감과 효율성 증가를 수치화하여 실제 실무자들에게 보다 현실적인 기초자료를 제시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 향후연구에서는 분석에 사용되는 요인의 추가작업을 통하여 분석모형을 정교화 할 필요가 있다.
