The purpose of this study was to investigate abdominal local muscle activity during modified bridge exercise. 17 subjects participated in this study. Abdominal muscles measured. External oblique abdominis (EO), internal oblique abdominis (IO), transvers abdominis (TrA), and rectus abdominis (RA) during general bridge exercise and modified bridge exercise, respectively. Electromyogram (EMG) and real-time ultrasound were used to verify alteration of muscles. Activation of RA and EO muscles of non-dominant foot was significantly difference in general bridge exercise group, not modifiedl bridge exercise group. In the modified bridge exercise group, thickness of IO and TrA muscle of non-dominant foot was significantly difference in modified bridge exercise group than general bridge exercise group. Therefore, modified bridge exercise may be apply as more effective exercise for local muscle activity than global muscle.

National Housing in Janghang was built intensively from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s, and has become a collective complex at Jangma-ro and Shinchangdong-ro. This Company House is a typical building for employee welfare, at the same time shows modern industrialization and urbanization. In general, it forms a housing complex and serves as industrial town. Reflecting the characteristics of Janghang, the housing complex is called National House based on the supply method and is also classified French Styled House in terms of housing style. Although Janghang was one of small local administrative units, it pursued urban style with mini-2-story. It has the typical characteristics as follows: division of the owner's living space and rental room, and independent layout of restrooms and washrooms. In Korea, based on the high fertility rate before 1980, the total population has been steadily increasing, and since the mid-1980s, the fertility rate has fallen sharply and has fallen below the level of population replacement. The cause of low birth rate in the region is not voluntary rejection, but rather, it is necessary to find out the cause by identifying the structural causes of the local community from various angles. We collected local Internet news and local representative cafe data, where many mothers participate, based on the budget area with a very low fertility rate among various areas. Factors of childbirth inhibition were analyzed by using the frequency of concurrent words that became issues related to population decline, low birthrate, and child-rearing welfare.
The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of the Children's Rights Guarantees among parents and child service providers in a local community, and to explore ways to organize Child Friendly Cities. To this end, I analyzed survey data collected from a municipality based in Seoul, Korea, and discovered certain differences in recognitions of play and leisure, citizen and participation, safety and protection, health and social service, education, and housing. Among the six categories, the parents and child service providers recognized that education and housing were relatively well guaranteed whereas citizen and participation was less secure. Child service providers were more negative in the physical environment for building child-friendly community, while parents were more negative about the institutional / cultural environment, such as participation rights. Based on these findings, I suggested the following: First, the physical environment should refer to the standards of child welfare officers, and the institutional and cultural environment should refer to the parents' standards. Second, the participation of parents and child service providers as well as children should be expanded in the community decision-making process.

This study generated the suggestions to minimize the duplicated cultural programs offered by various regional public service institutions via promoting effective collaboration among the institutions with the limited local resources while making the public libraries as the center of the partnership. We measured the level of program duplicability; conducted statistical analysis of the cultural program offering; and analyzed program participation status as well as the participation surveys. This led to the following results: 1) public libraries focused on offering humanities general education related programs; 2) participants had high expectations on the reading and writing programs; and 3) social welfare organizations offered programs, which targeted the older population, and the corresponding participants had high satisfaction rate. According to the results, the institutions including the public libraries should take into account of the ages and preferences of the potential participants when offering various programs. In addition, the public libraries should continue to offer humanities general education as well as information use programs.
The Cases of advanced nations which have advanced welfare policy, they have headed for the deinstitutionalization and the protection of the local society. So they have expanded and improved the various policies and welfare facilities to be able to keep daily life on the base of local area. Many problems have been caused by rising the average life span of the elderly in Korea now. Under the tendency, there have been many alternative proposals to solve the problems. One of those proposals, the deinstitutionalization theory that is rated the ideal way, is the community-based care than the care in facilities for the elderly. It shows that the most ideal facility for the care is Daycare center and that it matters the system of spatial construction and standard of the facilities. Under the undetailed Korean standard of facility design, it is very important that system of spatial construction to correspond to the needs of the users and standard of the facilities are prepared from the point of view of the standard design of the domestic facilities for the elderly. The study of the book grasps the regional present situation of the domestic Daycare center and surveys the tendency of the stay and features of occupation of the user there through some case, and aims to have a thorough grip of the spatial scale by the user's behavior. It is to utilize for a proposal for preparation of the space scale, and an institution standard corresponding to user's needs in a Daycare center.
Since 1996, the Health Promotion Programme spearheaded by the Korean Central Government has been actively developing and recently, the Healthy City Project led by the local autonomous entities have also been actively promoted. Healthy City is one in which the health and well-being of the citizens are given the utmost importance in the decision-making of the city. While the Health Promotion Programme focuses on changing the "health behavior" of the people, the Healthy City Project, a policy to improve the existing inequality of public health services, deals with more essential health factors and requires political support as well as a new organization. The Healthy City paradigm based on the New Public Health started in England and ever since the Healthy City Model Project spearheaded by the EURO WHO began in 1986, the Alliance for Healthy Cities centered in the West Pacific region supported by the WHO in Oct 2003 was inaugurated. 19 Korean cities are full members of the Alliance for Healthy Cities and 2 laboratories are associate members. The Ministry of Health and Welfare has held the Healthy City Forum consisting of related officials, experts and representatives of civic bodies on 6 occasions since Dec 2005. The need for adequate administrative and financial support from the Central Government to the local autonomous entities governing the Healthy Cities was raised. It is hoped that this Healthy City Project will bring about the improved health conditions of the people as well as promote the equality of the public health services.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact factors on the happiness of teenagers using local children centers. To this end, 424 people were sampled and hierarchical regression methods were used using data from the 10th year of the Korea Children's Center Panel Study. The results are as follows. First, self-esteem and peer relation and service help in adolescents are found to have a static effect on happiness, of which self-esteem has the highest impact. Second, adolescent depression and negative parenting attitude have been shown to have a negative effect on happiness, and depression has a stronger negative impact than parents' negative parenting attitude. Accordingly, this study aims to highlight positive factors of influence and suggest alternatives for applying them to local children centers by developing various programs that can reduce negative factors in order to enhance the happiness of adolescents.
