  • In this paper development of on-line data visualization program is described and some examples of data postprocessing are shown. The program is written in JAVA language and runs as a JAVA applet on the web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. Remote users can use the program to visualize and analyze their own flow data by accessing the program server through the internet and loading data files in proper formats from their local computers. This paper describes briefly about algorithms for data visualization, structure and available functions of the program, and web sever system. The mechanism of how the JAVA applet can access and process local data files and relevant coding techniques are explained as well. Also explained is what is required for the remote users and client computers to access the program on-line. Some visualization examples performed on a local computer are illustrated by accessing the server remotely.

  • With the mobile traffic in the network increases exponentially, multi-access edge computing (MEC) develops rapidly. MEC servers are deployed geo-distribution, which serve many mobile terminals locally to improve users' QoE (Quality of Experience). When the cache space of a MEC server is full, how to replace the cached videos is an important problem. The problem is also called the cache replacement problem, which becomes more complex due to the dynamic video popularity and the varied video sizes. Therefore, we proposed a new cache replacement scheme based on local video popularity and video size to solve the cache replacement problem of MEC servers. First, we built a local video popularity model, which is composed of a popularity rise model and a popularity attenuation model. Furthermore, the popularity attenuation model incorporates a frequency-dependent attenuation model and a frequency-independent attenuation model. Second, we formulated a utility based on local video popularity and video size. Moreover, the weights of local video popularity and video size were quantitatively analyzed by using the information entropy. Finally, we conducted extensive simulation experiments based on the proposed scheme and some compared schemes. The simulation results showed that our proposed scheme performs better than the compared schemes in terms of hit rate, average delay, and server load under different network configurations.

  • In this paper, we propose a remote controller for robot manipulator using local area network(LAN) and internet. To do this, we develope a server-client system as used in the network field. The client system is in any computer in remote place for the user to log-in the server and manage the remote factory. the server system is a computer which controls the manipulator and waits for a access from client. The server system consists of several control algorithms which is needed to drive the manipulator and networking system to transfer images that shows states of the work place, and to receive a Tmp data to run the manipulator. The client system consists of 3D(dimension) graphic user interface for teaching and off-line task like simulation, external hardware interface which makes it easier for the user to teach. Using this server-client system, the user who is on remote place can edit the work schedule of manipulator, then run the machine after it is transferred and monitor the results of the task.

  • A server is simply a computer that is running software that enables it to serve specific requests from other computers, called 'clients.' Distributed systems are considered by some to be the 'next wave' of computing. A collection of probably heterogeneous distribution systems is transparent to the user so that the system appears as one local machine. This paper is going to search about whole of Client/Server distributed systems environment through network game. This paper presents game by one example of network game. The ladder game uses JAVA and embody to do random every time using Random function and remainder operation repeatedly. Analyze execution principle of network game through this tame and investigate about Client/Server's distributed environment through this.

  • A local storage of HTML5 is a Web Storage, which is stored permanently on a local computer in the form of files. The contents of the storage can be easily accessed and modified because it is stored as plaintext. Moreover, because the internet browser classifies the local storages of each domain using file names, the malicious attacker can abuse victim's local storage files by changing file names. In the paper, we propose a scheme to maintain the integrity and the confidentiality of the local storage's source domain and source device. The key idea is that the client encrypts the data stored in the local storage with cipher key, which is managed by the web server. On the step of requesting the cipher key, the web server authenticates whether the client is legal source of local storage or not. Finally, we showed that our method can detect an abnormal access to the local storage through experiments according to the proposed method.

  • Recently, the need for health information management platforms has been increasing for efficient medical and IT technology research. However, health information is requiring security management by law. When permissioned blockchain technology is used to manage health information, the integrity is provided because only the authenticated users participate in bock generation. However, if the blockchain server is attacked, it is difficult to provide security because user authentication, block generation, and block verification are all performed on the blockchain server. In this paper, therefore, we propose a Health Information Management Server, which uses a permissioned blockchain algorithm and asymmetric cryptography. Health information is managed as a blockchain transaction to maintain the integrity, and the actual data are encrypted with an asymmetric key. Since using a private key kept in the institute local environment, the data confidentiality is maintained, even if the server is attacked. 1,000 transactions were requested, as a result, it was found that the server's average response time was 6,140ms, and the average turnaround time of bock generation was 368ms, which were excellent compared to those of conventional technology. This paper is that a model was proposed to overcome the limitations of permissioned blockchains.

  • In this paper, we implemented a deep learning operation structure with less influence of local PC performance. In general, the deep learning model has a large amount of computation and is heavily influenced by the performance of the processing PC. In this paper, we implemented deep learning operation using AWS and streaming server to reduce this limitation. First, deep learning operations were performed on AWS so that deep learning operation would work even if the performance of the local PC decreased. However, with AWS, the output is less real-time relative to the input when computed. Second, we use streaming server to increase the real-time of deep learning model. If the streaming server is not used, the real-time performance is poor because the images must be processed one by one or by stacking the images. We used the YOLO v3 model as a deep learning model for performance comparison experiments, and compared the performance of local PCs with instances of AWS and GTX1080, a high-performance GPU. The simulation results show that the test time per image is 0.023444 seconds when using the p3 instance of AWS, which is similar to the test time per image of 0.027099 seconds on a local PC with the high-performance GPU GTX1080.

  • An implementation scheme and some improvements are proposed to adopt public-licensed operating system, Linux and de-facto world-wide network standard, TCP/IP into the field of behavior-based autonomous mobile robots. To demonstrate the needs of scheme and the improvement, an analysis is performed on a server/client communication problem with real time Linux previously proposed, and another analysis is also performed on interactions among TCP/IP communications and the performance of Linux system using them. Implementation of behavior-based control architecture on real time Linux is proposed firstly. Revised task-scheduling schemes are proposed that can enhance the performance of server/client communication among local tasks on a Linux platform. A new method of TCP/IP packet flow handling is proposed that prioritizes TCP/IP software interrupts with aperiodic server mechanism as well. To evaluate the implementation scheme and the proposed improvements, performance enhancements are shown through some simulations.
