Purpose - As consumers' needs for purchasing fresh and safe food have been bigger in Korea, their interest in local food is also growing recently. So, the number of local food stores has been increased from 3 in 2012 to 103 in 2015. Local food stores should operate a business responding consumers' needs in order that local food stores are not to be a one-time fad. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of consumers who use a local food store and provide helpful implications to design a strategy for sustainable growth of local food store. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, Probit model was used for empirical analysis in order to examine the effect of purchase choice attributes of agricultural products, consumer's satisfaction, and their demographic factors upon the intention to use a local food store. After estimating coefficients of the probit model, marginal effects were calculated as a standard normal, and cumulative distribution is differentiated with respect to explanatory variables. To collect the data, questionnaire survey was carried out with the consumers using the local food store (Youngjin Nonghyup near to Jeonju city located in Jeollabuk-do). Result - The data analysis found that the more consumers are satisfied with local food store, the higher intention they have to use the local food store. In addition, it was known that the factors related to quality of agricultural products and shopping convenience among the purchase choice attributes have a considerable impact on the purchase intention of a local food store. In demographic factors, income was turned out to be an important factor affecting purchase intention of local food. Such a result supports the hypothesis that high income consumers are likely to purchase local food, which is based on the inference that consumers who have a high income tend to pursue wellbeing life. Futhermore, information delivery, through a reputable media source among general factors, was known to play an important role in forming an intention to purchase local food. According to the analysis of marginal effects, probability of purchase intention of a local food store is increased by 11.4%, if a monthly average income of a household is above 4.5 million Won(Korean currency). If purchasing satisfaction with local food stores is high, the probability of purchase intention would be increased by 24.1%. Likewise, such a probability goes up by 8.7%, 5.8%, respectively as an increasing one unit of quality of agricultural products and shopping convenience of local food stores, respectively. Conclusion - For attaining sustainable growth in a local food store, it is considered necessarily to establish a proper store operation system to meet consumers' needs, especially for quality and shopping convenience of local food. Moreover, as it was found that appropriate communication through media source has a positive effect on the intention to use local food store, PR activity seems to be necessary to expand the consumers' demands for local foods.

We investigated dissatisfaction of elements of local exhaust system, needs for local exhaust system, and information networks for local exhaust system from June 1998 to September 1999 using the questionnaire structured. It contained questions concerning general characteristics of factory and local exhaust system, troubles and dissatisfaction of elements of local exhaust system, and information networks for local exhaust system. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis. Information networks for local exhaust system were analyzed by multidimensional scaling using path distance of network analysis and by graph analysis using Krackplot. Among complaints of local exhaust system, that of duct has show the highest percentage of complaint. In the information network for local exhaust system, Seoul is positioned in the center of network with mediating role.

The artificial potential field (APF) methods provide simple and efficient motion planners for practical purposes. However, these methods have a local minimum problem, which can trap an object before reaching its goal. The local minimum problem is sometimes inevitable when an object moves in unknown environments, because the object cannot predict local minima before it detects obstacles forming the local minima. The avoidance of local minima has been an active research topic in the potential field based path planing. In this study, we propose a new concept using a virtual obstacle to escape local minima that occur in local path planning. A virtual obstacle is located around local minima to repel an object from local minima. We also propose the discrete modeling method for the modeling of arbitrary shaped objects used in this approach. This modeling method is adaptable for real-time path planning because it is reliable and provides lower complexity.

Although the native local data is being deemed important in the age where historical records are regarded as important, currently it is hard to find out detailed actual state of local data, because it is now being collected and managed by many institutions and individuals. This study is aimed at surveying the current state of management of native local data possessed by local cultural center, one of institutions that produce and manage local data, and suggesting a desired alternative idea of cultural center for management of native local data, through the problems found by the research. As the result, the current state of data management of the local cultural center are as follows: First, local data management in the local cultural center as the problem in poor surroundings and a financial question get local data-related education make systematic data collection and management unavailable. Second, local data depends on the extent of its awareness of it. each and every cultural center shows a significant deviation in the extent of execution of local data-related project. Third, even though the publication business of the cultural center is being lively executed, it attaches importance to the history of local authority rather than to the residents' life, and it should not be supplemented in applying it to education and production of cultural contents.

This study aims to identify the factors influencing successful businesses using local resources. Completed questionnaires were obtained from 156 specialists for rural development. Results indicated that the utilities for use affected successful businesses for local resources. The Recognition of local resources was important factor for market size, profits, local revitalization on successful businesses. Finally, this study will be helpful for policy markers and business operators to understand local business while theoretical and managerial implications were discussed.

This study aimed to determine the changes in the local fiscal structure brought about by the change in the transaction tax, including the acquisition tax, by the central government. The review of the analysis results proved the following. First, the government's transaction tax exemption policy effectively influenced the expansion of the local fiscal budget. Transaction tax exemptions such as acquisition tax exemptions would not contribute to the expansion of the local fiscal budget in the short run, but may do so in the long run. Second, the review of the effect of the transaction tax exemption policy by the central government on the local fiscal structure confirmed that its impact on the local fiscal structure may vary depending on the timing of such tax exemption. Third, the overall local fiscal structure as a result of the transaction tax exemption by the central government was confirmed to have been influenced more by the fiscal capability of the local government than by the income level of the local residents. In conclusion, the stimulation of real estate transactions using tax tools may positively influence the overall fiscal structure of local governments, but it would also put pressure on the fiscal management of local governments because it is largely influenced by the fiscal capability of the local governments.

미분 가능한 함수가 독립변수의 각 점에서 미분계수를 가지듯이 가장 일반화된 Cantor집합의 각 점에서 weak local dimension 을 갖는다. 이러한 weak local dimension 은 두 가지가 있는데 weak lower local dimension 과 weak upper local dimension 이 있다 weak lower local dimension 은 국소적인 의미로 perturbed Cantor 집합의 lower Cantor dimension 이고 Hausdorff dimension 과 관련이 있다. weak upper local dimension 은 국소적인 의미로 perturbed Cantor 집합의 upper Cantor dimension 이고 packing dimension 과 관련이 있다. 이때 각 점에 대응하는 유관한 측도는 quasi-self-similar measure 이며 그 점의 weak lower local dimension 이 s 이면 그 점의 s-차원 quasi-self-similar measure 의 lower local dimension 이 s 가 된다. 마찬가지로 그 점의 weak upper local dimension 이 s 이면 그 점의 s-차원 quasi-self-similar measure 의 upper local dimension 이 s 가 된다. 따라서 이와 같은 사실을 이용하면 가장 일반화된 Cantor집합의 각 점에서의 weak local dimension 을 이용하여 그 집합의 Hausdorff 또는 packing 차원의 정보를 얻을 수 있을 뿐 더러 weak local dimension 을 이용한 spectrum 을 또한 구할 수 있다. 한편 weak local dimension 과 유관한 quasi-self-similar measure 는 집합의 spectrum을 생성하며 이 spectrum 을 이루는 각 부분집합의 차원에 대하여 보다 좋은 정보를 주는 transformed dimension 과 또 다른 관련을 갖게 된다.
