일대학 부속병원 간호사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Job Satisfaction of the Nurses in a University Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe and analyze about the degree of job satisfaction of nurses in a university hospital for basic data to develop the professionals and improve productivities, effectiveness in nursing practice. Methods: Design was the descriptive survey study. Sample were 97 nurses in K university hospital, and convenient sampling was used. Measures were job satisfaction of nurse for job satisfaction tool modified by Kim, S.N.(1998) and developed by Slavitt(1978). Data were collected from April 2005 to June 2005, and analyzed using SPSS PC+12 program. Descriptive statistics was used for general characteristics and characteristics related to job. F-test, t-test, and $X^2$ test were used for verification of differences. Results: 1. Scores in categories of job satisfaction were ranked for professional position(3.25), interpersonal relationship(3.19), autonomy(3.08), necessary job(2.88), payment and promotion(2.79), and administration(2.50) in order. 2. There were significant differences in age(F=3.343, p=.040) and satisfaction for current job(F=10.331, p=.000) in differences of job satisfaction by general characteristics and characteristics related to job. Conclusions: On the findings, authors suggest that more opportunities for direct nursing practice, appropriate time for the practice, and the intervention improving satisfaction for current job are needed to improve job satisfaction.

  • The objective of this study were to the distribution of low back pain prevalence rates, and to Identify and compare risk indicators in cases with low back pain presence and low back pain absence. The results were as follows : 1. Of the respondents, 34.4% reported lob-related LBP 2. There were statistically significant relationships between job satisfaction, time spent standing, time spent sitting, vibration, noise.

의료보험 심사간호사의 업무스트레스와 직무만족도의 관계 (Relationship between Work Stress and lob Satisfaction Experienced by Nurses in Medical Insurance)

  • Purpose: This study was done for the purpose of identifying the relationship between work stress and job satisfaction of nurses who were evaluating medical insurance. Method: The participants in the study were 154 nurses who were in charge of evaluating medical insurance in 32 hospitals in Korea. Data were collected for 1 month from April 20 to May 20, 2001. Result: The mean total work stress score was 93.79. In comparison with work stress scores according to the work stress factors, 'work overload'(2.95) had the highest work stress score. The mean total job satisfaction score was 69.56. The total work stress scores did not show significant differences for any of the variables. The total job satisfaction score showed significant differences for the variables of age (F=3.51, p=.01), position (F=3.16, p=.02) and reason for transfer from one department to another (F=3.40, p=.003). Conclusion: The total work stress score showed a inverse correlation(v=-.36, p=.001) with the total job satisfaction score.

대구.경북지역 병원영양사의 직무특성, 업무수행도 및 조직몰입도가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Job Characteristics, Job Performance and Organizational Commitment on Job Satisfaction of Hospital Dietitians in the Taegu. Kyungpook Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of job characteristics, job performance and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of hospital dietitians. The first survey was carried out on 74 hospital dietitians to determine their demographic characteristics, job characteristics, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The second survey was carried out on 47 hospital foodservice dietitians to determine their job performance. Thirty-two percent of the subjects were aged between 26 and 30, and 62.2% had Bachelor's degrees. The dietitians felt most satisfied by their co-workers, followed by the work-itself, supervision, pay, and promotion possibilities. Dietitians who had a higher education were satisfied with pay and supervision. The longer the length of employment, the more the satisfaction with the work-itself and pay, plus the higher the monthly wage the more the satisfaction with the work-itself, pay, supervision, and co-workers. lob satisfaction was high in the group that scored high on autonomy, feedback, task identity, and friendship of in the job characteristic inventory. The job performances of nutrition counseling(r= 0.469, p < 0.01), nutrition education(r= 0.446, p < 0.01) and management of therapeutic diet(r= 0.394, p < 0.01) were positively correlated with job satisfaction. The $R^2$for the multiple regression model was 0.677, indicating that 67.7% of the variance in job satisfaction could be accounted for by feedback, organizational commitment, nutrition counseling performance, and nutrition education performance. In conclusion, the level of job satisfaction for hospital dietitians would appear to improve with increased feedback, organizational commitment, and opportunity for nutrition counseling and nutrition education.

MBTI를 활용한 일 병원 간호사의 성격특성과 직무만족도와의 관계연구 (Descriptive Correlational Study on Personality Type using MBTI and lob Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the correlations between personality type and job satisfaction of nurses. Methods: Subjects included three hundred twelve nurses ages from 21 to 55. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) was administered to determine the personality types of the nurses(n=312). A job satisfaction survey including a demographic and career questionnaire was also used. Data were analyzed using ANOVA. Results: The mean score fur job satisfaction was 113.68 out of 205. The result showed that there was no statistically significant correlation between job satisfaction and information gathering functions, S: Sensing, N: Intuition (t=.667, p=.499), T; Thinking, F; Feeling (t=.822, p=.412). The results, however, indicated that style for gaining energy(I: Introversion, E: Extroversion)(t=2.008, p=.046) and life dealing style(J : Judgement, P : Perception)(t=2.290, p=.023) were significantly correlated with job satisfaction. The extrovert focuses on the outside and get energy through interacting with people and doing things. Judgement type is described as organized, decisive, and orderly. Conclusion: Nurses in the extrovert and judgement types were more satisfied with their Jobs than those in the introvert and perceptive type. Other results support that educational level, marital status, job characteristics, clinical experiences, motivation for nursing, and night duty were correlated with job satisfaction.

일부 보건진료원의 성격특성과 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Relationship between Personality Traits and Job Satisfaction of Community Health Practitioners in a Rural Area)

  • 본 연구는 보건진료원의 성격특성과 직무만족도와의 관계를 파악하여 효율적인 업무수행에 도움을 주고 직무만족을 향상시킬수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구의 대상은 광주, 전남지역 보건진료원 348명 중 200명으로 하였고, 1999년 2월 18일부터 3월 5일까지 설문지를 우편으로 대상자에게 발송하여 작성하게 한 후 응답지를 수집하였다. 연구도구로 성격특성 측정도구는 김(김기석, 1990)의 "일반성격검사"를 사용하였고 직무만족도 측정도구는 Salvitt의 도구를 석(석민현, 1992)이 수정 보완한 것을 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS Program에 의해 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, Pearson's correlation coefficient, ANOVA, Logistic regression analysis 등으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자의 특성 중 인구사회학적 특성과 직무만족도와의 관계에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타낸 것은 종교와 보수이다(P=.028). 2. 직업의식은 계속교육여부와 필수적 직무(P=.000), 자율성(P=.000), 보건진료원 선택동기와 필수적 직무(P=.007), 직업긍지(P=.007), 보건진료원 종사예정기간과 필수적 직무(P=.023), 직업적 긍지(P=.000), 현직에 대한 만족여부와 보수(P=.001), 필수적 직무(P=.016), 직업긍지(P=.000), 상호작용(P=.011), 자율성(P=.002), 조직요구(p=.001)가 직무만족과 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 3. 근무지 여건과 직무만족도 관계를 보면 직급과 자율성(p=.038), 보건진료원 이전 분야별 경력과 상호작용(P=.059), 자율성(P.059), 진료소위치와 자율성(P=.021), 월가정방문수와 상호작용(P=.001), 월상담 교육건수와 보수(P=.044), 직업긍지(P=.021), 보건진료소 연수입과 필수적 직무(P=.013)가 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 4. 보건진료원의 성격특성 중 자신감(80.1)과 책임성(82.6)이 다른 성격요인에 비해 높은 것으로 나타냈다. 5. 보건진료원의 직무만족도는 평균 3.16으로 보통수준으로 나타났으며, 직업적 긍지 점수가 4.09로 가장 높게 나타났다. 6. 성격특성과 직무만족도의 상관관계를 보면 지배성은 자율성(r=.24, P=.001)과 책임성은 직업긍지(r=.26, P=.000), 정서적 안정성은 필수적 직무(r=.25, P=.000), 사회성은 필수적 직무(r=.26, P=.000), 자신감은 필수적 직무(r=.34, P=.000)와 자율성(r=.31, P=.000)과 가장 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 7. 보건진료원의 제요인과 성격특성 중 종교, 진료소위치, 환자진료, 교육기회 여부, 지배성, 자신감, 보건진료원 종사 예정기간, 현직에 대한 만족여부, 보건진료원 이전 근무 분야, 행정업무 등이 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 요소로 나타났다.
