This paper presents neural load disturbance observer that used to deadbeat load torque observer and regulation of the compensation gain by parameter estimator. As a result, the response of PMSM follows that of the nominal plant. The load torque compensation method is compose of a neural deadbeat observer. To reduce of the noise effect, the post-filter, which is implemented by MA process, is proposed. The parameter compensator with RLSM (recursive least square method) parameter estimator is suggested to increase the performance of the load torque observer and main controller. The proposed estimator is combined with a high performance neural torque observer to resolve the problems. As a result, the proposed control system becomes a robust and precise system against the load torque and the parameter variation. A stability and usefulness, through the verified computer simulation, are shown in this paper.

This paper investigates the shadow amount of edifice and according to time zone used by its Electric heating appliances, it is analyzed that Electric Heating Power Load affects Heal power load variation curve. Also, in case that the far infrared ray heating system, which are used as new electric heating system, occupies some of the existing Electric heating appliances, it is analyzed that the Electric heating power load affects the Peak load power in Korea.
This paper presents an approach that provides an equivalent initial operating condition of UPFC in load-flow study for stability analysis. The UPFC model for load-flow implemented by IPLAN in PSS/E is represented by an equivalent load injection. In doing so, the transmission line to which UPFC is connected is disconnected and the function of UPFC is represented by the equivalent load variation. This operating condition may not be adequate as an initial condition for subsequent dynamic simulation. The proposed approach provides a way of equivalencing UPFC load injection without line disconnection. The method was applied to a realistic power system for validity.
Welded connections have been designed on basis of allowable stresses, wherein the response to loading is assumed to be totally elastic. This is the vector analysis method, which resolves the stresses determined from the direct stress formula and the torsion formula into a vector combination to obtain a solution. It has been known that this method gives conservative answers and typically a very high factor of safety. An analytical method based on the Instantaneous Center of Rotation has been developed which predicts the ultimate strength of an eccentically loaded fillet welded connection. The method of Instantaneous Center of Rotation results in weld resistance capacities greater than the vector analysis method, by recognizing the variation in fillet weld strength with respect to the direction of the applied loading and actual load-deformation response of elemental fillet welds. The procedure of numerical analysis is iterative and complex. The relations between vector analysis method and the method of Instantaneous Center of Rotation on eccentrical distance subjected to variation of load direction are presented in this paper. Considering of the effects on configuration of weld groups, the method of Instantaneous Center of Rotation are provided a more exact results of the numerical analysis.
In this paper, a self tuning control algorithm is proposed for the high performance drive of DC servo motor, which is adequate to the servo system having frequent load variation. In order to realization of the algorithm, the control system is developed using a fixed point high speed digital signal processor. TMS320C25. Control algorithm is composed of two parts. One is estimation law part using recursive least mean square method, the other is control law part using minimum variance control method. For the purpose of easiness of applying adaptive algorithm, developed control system is based o PC-DSP structure which can develop, debug programs and monitor the dynamic behaviors, etc. Through computer simulation and experimental results, it was verified that proposed control system could estimate system parameters and was robust to the variation of the load and as a result, was adequate to the servo motor drives.
The aim of this study is to find the best cutting conditions as analyzing cutting process of paper shredder and shape of cutter. The test has been done variation of torque and cutting velocity according to load. When shape of cutter and distance between cutter and shaft are changed, The variation of cutting force according to cutting angle and load is geometrically analyzed. The result of geometrical analysis is presented that the radius and array of cutter is the method to improve torque of paper shredder. In this paper it is presented as basic method of design to improve cutting performance of paper shredder.
It is important to analyze the status of water quality with relation to the stream flow to attain water quality goal more effectively in the unit watersheds for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). This study developed a flow duration-water quality distribution graph to figure out water quality appearances on the flow variation and analyzed contributions of water quality observations to the impaired water bodies quantitatively by hydrologic conditions. Factors relating to water quality variation can be analyzed more precisely and assessed on the base of quantified contributions. It is considered that this approach could be utilized to establish a more effective plan for the water quality improvement including the prioritization of pollution reduction options.
Output voltage of a DC/DC power converter system is likely to be distorted if variable loads exist in the output terminal. This paper presents a new disturbance observer(DOB) approach to maintain a robust regulation of the output voltage of a boost type DC/DC converter. Unlike the buck-type converter case, the regulation problem of the boost converter is very complicated by the fact that, with respect to the output voltage to be regulated, the system is non-minimum phase. Owing to the non-minimum phase property the classical DOB approach has not been applied to the boost converter. Motivated by a recent result on the application of DOB to non-mimimum phase system, an output feedback control law is proposed by using a parallel feedforward compensator. Simulation results using the Simulink SimPowerSystems prove the performance of the proposed controller against load variation.
When a squirrel cage induction motor is loaded, the magnetic noise can increase depending on the load current. It is due to the variation of air gap harmonic fluxes from the rotor current induced by loading. This unfavorable noise can be anticipated by analysing the radial force waves in the air gap, the mode shapes of them, and stator core natural frequencies at each mode. With the experimental tests with the different rotor slot numbers, the variation of magnetic noise depending on the load current is studied and the method to reduce the magnetic noise is suggested with the newly developed magnetic noise analysis program.
