다축모멘트 영향선과 밀도추정함수를 사용한 이동하중식별 알고리듬의 개발 (Development of Moving Force Identification Algorithm Using Moment Influence Lines at Multiple-Axes and Density Estimation Function)

  • 교량의 설계 및 시공에 있어 적절한 설계하중을 산정하기 위해 차량의 하중을 측정하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이동하중에 대해 다축의 모멘트 영향선을 이용하여 시간에 따라 하중을 식별하는 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 또한 2개 이상의 하중을 식별하는 경우, 시간에 따른 하중 식별 결과가 심한 진동을 하기 때문에 밀도추정함수를 통해 최종 식별하중을 구하는 방법을 제안하였다. 단경간 판형교에 대한 수치예제를 수행하여 제안한 알고리듬 및 방법들을 검증하였다. 수치예제에서는 계측오차와 속도오차에 대한 오차분석을 수행하였다. 또한 제안된 알고리듬을 6m 길이의 강재 모형교량을 이용한 실내실험을 통해 재검증하였다. 속도와 하중의 종류에 따라 하중식별 능력이 달랐으나 개발한 알고리듬이 최대 10% 수준의 오차 내에서 하중을 식별할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Spatial heterogeneity in macroinvertebrate density from Lake Hövsgöl, Mongolia

  • Typical of large, oligotrophic lakes, Lake H$\ddot{o}$vsg$\ddot{o}$l, Mongolia, exhibits complex morphometry which should support a spatially heterogeneous community of benthic macroinvertrates. The lake also exhibits a broad range of land uses. Based on the variation in land use and complex physical habitat of the lake (e.g. substrate variation and presence of affluent streams in bays), we asked two questions. First, does density of total benthic macroinvertebrates vary between different bays in Lake H$\ddot{o}$vsg$\ddot{o}$l? Second, does density of individual benthic taxa vary by bay? Samples collected in 1997, the last year for benthic sampling of the lake, were designed to test for variation in macroinvertebrate density between bays and can now be used to establish baseline variation in density for future studies. A total of 56 Ponar grab samples were analyzed from six bays in Lake H$\ddot{o}$vsg$\ddot{o}$l. Results of a general linear model analysis of variance showed that total density of macroinvertebrates varied only slightly between bays of the lake, but that most individual taxa showed significant variation between bays. Variation in density for most taxa was linked to substrate composition rather than other geographic or physical variables in the lake. Recent increases in grazing intensity and ecotourism along the shores should be managed to reduce the nutrient load into the lake to avoid impairment of the benthic biota of this unique, ancient ecosystem.

Near-Five-Vector SVPWM Algorithm for Five-Phase Six-Leg Inverters under Unbalanced Load Conditions

  • Multiphase machines are characterized by high power density, enhanced fault-tolerant capacity, and low torque pulsation. For a voltage source inverter supplied multiphase machine, the probability of load imbalances becomes greater and unwanted low-order stator voltage harmonics occur. This paper deals with the PWM control of multiphase inverters under unbalanced load conditions and it proposes a novel near-five-vector SVPWM algorithm based on the five-phase six-leg inverter. The proposed algorithm can output symmetrical phase voltages under unbalanced load conditions, which is not possible for the conventional SVPWM algorithms based on the five-phase five-leg inverters. The cause of extra harmonics in the phase voltages is analyzed, and an xy coordinate system orthogonal to the ${\alpha}{\beta}z$ coordinate system is introduced to eliminate low-order harmonics in the output phase voltages. Moreover, the digital implementation of the near-five-vector SVPWM algorithm is discussed, and the optimal approach with reduced complexity and low execution time is elaborated. A comparison of the proposed algorithm and other existing PWM algorithms is provided, and the pros and cons of the proposed algorithm are concluded. Simulation and experimental results are also given. It is shown that the proposed algorithm works well under unbalanced load conditions. However, its maximum modulation index is reduced by 5.15% in the linear modulation region, and its algorithm complexity and memory requirement increase. The basic principle in this paper can be easily extended to other inverters with different phase numbers.

Behaviour of micropiles in collapsible loess under tension or compression load

  • This study examines the behaviour of single micropiles subjected to axial tension or compression load in collapsible loess under in-situ moisture content and saturated condition. Five tension loading tests and five compression loading tests on single micropiles were carried out at a typical loess site of the Loess Plateau in Northwest China. A series of laboratory tests, including grain size distribution, specific gravity, moisture content, Atterberg limits, density, granular components, shear strength, and collapse index, were carried out during the micropile loading tests to determine the values of soil parameters. The loess at the test site poses a severe collapse risk upon wetting. The tension or compression load-displacement curves of the micropiles in loess, under in-situ moisture content or saturated condition, can generally be simplified into three distinct regions: an initial linear, a curvilinear transition, and a final linear region, and the bearing capacity or failure load can be interpreted by the L1-L2 method as done in other studies. Micropiles in loess should be considered as frictional pile foundations though the tip resistances are about 10%-15% of the applied loads. Both the tension and compression capacities increase linearly with the ratio of the pile length to the shaft diameter, L/d. For micropiles in loess under in-situ moisture content, the interpreted failure loads or capacities under tension are 66%-87% of those under compression. However, the prewetting of the loess can lead to the reductions of 50% in the tensile bearing capacity and 70% in the compressive bearing capacity.

An open Scheduling Framework for QoS resource management in the Internet of Things

  • Quality of Service (QoS) awareness is recognized as a key point for the success of Internet of Things (IOT).Realizing the full potential of the Internet of Things requires, a real-time task scheduling algorithm must be designed to meet the QoS need. In order to schedule tasks with diverse QoS requirements in cloud environment efficiently, we propose a task scheduling strategy based on dynamic priority and load balancing (DPLB) in this paper. The dynamic priority consisted of task value density and the urgency of the task execution, the priority is increased over time to insure that each task can be implemented in time. The scheduling decision variable is composed of time attractiveness considered earliest completion time (ECT) and load brightness considered load status information which by obtain from each virtual machine by topic-based publish/subscribe mechanism. Then sorting tasks by priority and first schedule the task with highest priority to the virtual machine in feasible VMs group which satisfy the QoS requirements of task with maximal. Finally, after this patch tasks are scheduled over, the task migration manager will start work to reduce the load balancing degree.The experimental results show that, compared with the Min-Min, Max-Min, WRR, GAs, and HBB-LB algorithm, the DPLB is more effective, it reduces the Makespan, balances the load of VMs, augments the success completed ratio of tasks before deadline and raises the profit of cloud service per second.

복합재료 선미익 항공기 날개 하중해석

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 개발중에 있는 복합재료 선미익 항공기의 날개에 작용하는 하중해석을 수행하였다. 중량, 공력계수, 구조설계속도, 하중 등을 계산하기 위해 사용된 Tool은 Excel에서 운용되는 Visual Basic 프로그램으로 계산에 많은 도움을 주었다. 하중해석에 기본적으로 요구되는 항공기의 형상치수, 부품의 종류 및 중량 그리고 좌표계 등은 Catia 모델링, 실제측정 또는 재료밀도 값 등을 이용해 구하였으며, 이들 자료를 통하여 항공기의 중량, 무게중심, 관성모멘트, 구조설계속도, 날개의 하중분포, 힘과 모멘트 등을 계산하였다. 또한 항공기의 날개 및 동체의 임계하중 조건을 선정하는데 필수적인 항공기의 V-n 선도를 도시하였으며, 이 V-n 선도는 항공기의 최대중량 2,573 파운드 및 해면고도조건에서 설계속도 $V_A$, $V_C$, $V_D$ 및 하중계수 +3.8G, -1.52G에 대한 비행범위를 제시하고 있다. 앞으로는 V-n 선도로부터 선정된 임계하중을 이용하여 해석된 동체 및 날개에 대한 하중을 제시하고자 한다.

모래지반에서 테이퍼 각도가 테이퍼말뚝의 연직거동에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Taper Angle on Axial Behavior of Tapered Piles in Sand)

  • 테이퍼말뚝의 연직거동은 지반의 응력상태와 내부마찰각, 말뚝의 벽면마찰각, 말뚝의 테이퍼 각도에 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 테이퍼 각도가 말뚝의 연직거동에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해서 가압토조를 이용한 모형말뚝시험을 실시하였다. 시험결과에 따르면 말뚝의 테이퍼 각도가 커질수록 주면마찰력은 커지고 선단지지력은 감소하였으나, 단위 선단지지력의 경우 보통 상대밀도의 지반에서는 말뚝의 테이퍼 각도에 비례해서 증가하였으나 조밀한 지반에서는 테이퍼 각도에 따라 감소하였다. 그리고 말뚝의 전체지지력에 대한 주면마찰력의 비율은 테이퍼 각도가 커짐에 따라 그리고 지반의 상대밀도가 작아짐에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 말뚝의 단위 체적당 전체지지력은 지반이 느슨할 때는 테이퍼 각도에 따라 증가했지만 조밀한 지반에서는 테이퍼 각도에 따라 감소하였다. 따라서 테이퍼말뚝은 조밀한 지반보다는 느슨한 지반에서 더 경제성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

식이 단백질의 종류와 함황아미노산 함량이 성장기 쥐의 골밀도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Dietary Protein Source and Sulfur Amino acid Content on bone Metabolism in Growing Rats)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of dietary protein source and sulfur amino acid content on bone metabolism in ra. Thirty male rats (body weight 145$\pm$2g) were divided into three groups. The rats in the first group were fed on casein 20% diet as animal protein source and those in the second group were fed on soy 20% diet as plant protein source. Sulfur amino acid ratio of these group was 1.07:1. The rats in the third group were fed on soy 20% diet and the sulfur amino acid were supplemented with the amount contained as much in the soy 20% diet. All rats were fed on experimental diet and deionized water ad libitum for 9 weeks, The total body, spine, femur bone mineral density and bone mineral content were measured using Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry Calcium, phosphate, pyridinoline, creatinine in urine and calcium, phosphate, alkaline phosphatase, osteocalcin in serum were measured. During the experimental period, plant protein (soy protein) group had a lower urinary Ca excretion, urine pyridinoline & crosslinks value and had a higher Ca efficiency in total bone and femur bone mineral density than animal protein (casein) group. There were no significant differences in serum calcium, phosphate, alkaline phosphatase and osteocalcin among the three groups of the rats. The findings from this study demonstrated that plant protein (soy protein) is beneficial of bone mineral density because it had a higher Ca efficiency in total bone and femur bone mineral density than animal protein (casein). However, the supplementation of sulfur amino acid on soy results were consistent with prior studies that dietary sulfur amino acid load had a negative effect on calcium balance. The rats fed sulfur amino acid supplementation diet increased urinary calcium excretion and decreased calcium efficiency for total and femur mineral density. 정반 그루브의 형상치수가 사파이어 기판의 연마특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Groove Shape Dimension on Lapping Characteristics of Sapphire Wafer)

  • In the sapphire wafering process, lapping is a crucial operation in order to reduce the damaged layer and achieve the target thickness. Many parameters, such as pressure, velocity, abrasive, slurry and plate, affect lapping characteristics. This paper presents an experimental investigation on the effect of the plate groove on the material removal rate and roughness of the wafer. We select the spiral pattern and rectangular type as the groove shapes. We vary the groove density by controlling the groove shape dimension, i.e., the groove width and pitch. As the groove density increases to 0.4, the material removal rate increases and gradually reaches a saturation point. When the groove density is low, the pressing load is mostly supported by the thick film, and only a small amount acts on the abrasives resulting to a low material removal rate. The roughness decreases on increasing the groove density up to 0.3 because thick film makes partial participations of large abrasives which make deep scratches. From these results, we could conclude that the groove affects the contact condition between the wafer and plate. At the same groove density, the pitch has more influence on reducing the film thickness than the groove width. By decreasing the groove density with a smaller pitch and larger groove width, we could achieve a high material removal rate and low roughness. These results would be helpful in understanding the groove effects and determining the appropriate groove design.

  • In many manufacturing processes such as web formation, manufacturing of paper and nonwoven, fabric weaving, etc., planar sheets are transported and at the same time appropriate tension is imposed. The input material rolled up on beams is fed by unwinding the beam and the processed is then taken up on beams by winding it. While processed, the planar sheets are thrown under the processing load of impulse form, which causes irregular thickness of the processed sheet. To improve the quality of the product, a dynamic model is needed and the dynamic characteristics is to be analyzed by simulation. This study shows that density variation dynamics of the in-process-sheet in the machine direction can be described at each moment of disturbing impacts in forms of difference equations, while the impacts and tension, the time-dependency of the material properties were taken into account. Simulation showed the most serious variation of the density occurred in the process starting phase. The starting velocity curve with step form showed the least variation of the density. As the time order of the function of the starting velocity cure becomes higher, the density variation gets greater.
