A Study on Design of Anti-Sway Controller for ATC using Two Degree of Freedom PID Control

  • In this paper, an ATC(Automated Transfer Crane) control system is required rapid transportation to get highest productivity with low cost. Therefore, the container paths should be built in terms of the least time and least sway when container is transferred from the initial coordinate to the finial coordinate. So we applied the best-first search method for forming the container path, and calculated the anti-collision path for avoiding collision in its movement to the finial coordinate. And we constructed the neural network two degree of freedom PID (TDOFPID) controller to control the precise navigation. For simulation, we constructed the container profiles so that we analyzed the state of formed path and the performance of TDOFPID controller to the formatted path. Then we compared the performance of ES-tuned PID controller with our proposed controller in terms of trolley position, anti-sway, path change, disturbance, and the load of containers. The computer simulation results show that the proposed controller has better the other on the various conditions.

Receiver-driven Cooperation-based Concurrent Multipath Transfer over Heterogeneous Wireless Networks

  • The advantages of employing SCTP-based Concurrent Multipath Transfer (CMT) have been demonstrated to be very useful for data delivery over multi-homed wireless networks. However, there is still significant ongoing work addressing some remaining limitations and challenges. The most important concern when applying CMT to data delivery is related to handling packet reordering and buffer blocking. Another concern on this topic is that current sender-based CMT solutions seldom consider balancing the overhead and sharing the load between the sender and receiver. This paper proposes a novel Receiver-driven Cooperation-based Concurrent Multipath Transfer solution (CMT-Rev) with the following aims: (i) to balance overhead and share load between the sender and receiver, by moving some functions including congestion and flow control from the sender onto receiver; (ii) to mitigate the data reordering and buffer blocking problems, by using an adaptive receiver-cooperative path aggregation model, (iii) to adaptively transmit packets over multiple paths according to their receiver-inspired sending rate values, by employing a new receiver-aware data distribution scheduler. Simulation results show that CMT-Rev outperforms the existing CMT solutions in terms of data delivery performance.

  • In this paper, the vibrations of floor systems of which buildings are under construction are studied by experimental and analysis method. The first step is to measure the operational response data and FRF at the supporting points of the utility and the second step is to calculate the dynamic load by TPA Method which provided by LMS VirtualLab System Analysis Module. The dynamics we used to identify is expressed by below equation; $$\{F_{oper}\}=[H]^{-1}\;{\cdot}\;\{{.. \atop x_{oper}}\}$$ Where, H(Transfer function between position of the force and response) and x(response) are measured by vibration test.

용접 철골 모멘트접합부의 응력전달 메커니즘 재평가 (Re-evaluation of Force Transfer Mechanism of Welded Steel Moment Connections)

  • 용접 철골 모멘트접합부는 일반적으로 평면유지의 가정을 전제한 초등휨이론에 의해 설계되어 왔다. 그러나 1994년 노스리지 지진 이후 보-기둥 접합부의 설계에 초등휨이론을 적용하는 것은 타당치 않음이 몇몇 연구자에 의해 제기된 바가 있다. 본 연구에서는 필자의 최근 해석 및 실험연구를 주 근거로 하여 다양한 형식의 접합부의 응력전달 메커니즘을 재평가하고, 거의 모든 용접 모멘트접합부의 설계에 초등휨이론을 적용하는 것이 부적절함을 보이고자 하였다. 보의 웨브, 수평헌치의 웨브, 리브 등과 같은 수직 플레이트 접합요소는 모두 스트럿 작용에 의해 응력을 전달하는 유사성이 있음을 해석적, 실험적으로 확인하였다. 또한 최근 가장 큰 주목을 받고 있는 고연성 RBS 접합부의 전단력 응력전달 메커니즘은 PN형식 접합부의 그것과 크게 다르지 않음을 확인하였다. 아울러 접합부 설계에 유용하게 활용될 수 있는 단순화된 해석적 응력전달 모형을 소개하였다.

배전망 복구지원 전문가 시스템에 관한 연구 (An Expert System for the Restoration of Distribution Networks)

  • 배전계통에서의 사고 발생시 정전으로 인한 수용가의 손실을 최소로 하기 위하여 정전구역에 대한 신속한 복구가 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 배전계통의 정전복구를 위한 전문가 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 전문가 시스템은 복구과정에서 전문가의 경험적 규칙을 이용함으로써 복구에 소요되는 스위칭 횟수를 최소화 하도록 하였다. 복구 과정은 일반적인 위상구조 지식 기반의 응용을 통해 전문가 시스템의 상태공간에서 타당한 경로를 찾는 문제로 표현하였다. 또한, 다양한 배전계통 구조를 고려하기 위해 다중 부하절체 기법을 제안하였다.

국제공동 육해상 정상운반시험의 데이터 분석 (Data Analysis of International Joint Road and Sea Transportation Tests Under Normal Conditions of Transport)

  • 2017년 미국 DOE 주도하에 수행된 국제공동 복합모드운반시험 중 도로트럭운반시험, 연안항해시험, 대서양항해시험에서 측정된 가속도 및 변형률 데이터를 분석하였다. 먼저 각 운반모드 별로 발생한 하중이 전달경로에 따라 하중이 증폭되는지 감쇄되는지가 조사되었다. 그 결과 운반모드 및 하중경로 내 어떤 부분이냐에 따라 발생한 하중이 모의핵연료집합체에 전달되는 특성이 다름을 확인하였다. 그리고 변형률 데이터를 분석하여 육상 및 해상운반동안 발생한 변형률이 사용후핵연료에 건전성에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 그 결과 측정된 변형률은 사용후핵연료의 건전성에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 정도로 작은 크기임을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 분석된 가속도와 피로평가 결과는 예정된 국내 정상운반시험조건에서의 운반시험에 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

액티브 머플러를 이용한 자동차 배기계의 능동소음제어 (Active noise control with the active muffler in automotive exhaust system)

  • This study experimentally demonstrates the use of active muffler attached to the automotive exhaust system to reduce exhaust noise. For improving the signal to noise ratio in the process of estimation of secondary path transfer functions, the on-line algorithm that conventional inverse modeling is combined with adaptive line enhancer is used as the control algorithm. Active muffler is designed that the primary noise and the control sound are propagated as a plane wave in the outlet. Therefore, the error microphone could be placed out of the tail pipe center of a high temperature and the radiation noise to the outside could be reduced in the whole area around the outlet. The control experiment for reducing exhaust noise with active muffler is implemented during run-up at no load. From the experimental results presented, compared with the conventional off-line method, the proposed on-line method is capable to acquire a reduction of exhaust noise above 5 dB in overall sound power level.

6LoWPAN에서 회복력 있는 라우팅 프로토콜 기법 (Resilient Routing Protocol Scheme for 6LoWPAN)

  • IoT (Internet of Things) 환경에서 IPv6 패킷 통신을 지원하기 위한 표준 기술로 IETF 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low power WAPN) 표준 기술이 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 6LoWPAN에서 패킷 전송을 위한 프로토콜로 주로 AODV (Ad-hoc Distance Vector) 라우팅 프로토콜 기술을 확장한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히, 제한된 자원을 가진 노드들로 구성된 6LoWPAN에서 네트워크 오류가 발생했을 때 신뢰성 있는 데이터 전송과 빠른 경로 설정 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 IETF LOAD(6LoWPAN Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing) 을 확장한 최적 복구 경로 알고리즘인 회복력 있는 라우팅 프로토콜기법 (Resilient Routing Protocol) 을 제안한다. 좀 더 구체적으로, 최적 복구 경로 설정 알고리즘, 상세 프로토콜 신호 흐름도 및 패킷 전송의 신뢰성 검증을 위한 수학적인 모델을 제시하였다. 제안된 프로토콜 기법의 성능을 분석하기 위해 NS-3 (Network Simulation Tool) 를 통해 성능 분석하였고 성능 분석 결과 기존의 LOAD 라우팅에 비해 종단간 지연시간, 패킷 처리율, 패킷 전송율 및 제어 패킷 오버헤드 등의 성능 면에서 우수함을 증명하였다.

Preliminary data analysis of surrogate fuel-loaded road transportation tests under normal conditions of transport

  • In this study, road transportation tests were conducted with surrogate fuel assemblies under normal conditions of transport to evaluate the vibration and shock load characteristics of spent nuclear fuel (SNF). The overall test data analysis was conducted based on the measured acceleration and strain data obtained from the speed bump, lane-change, deceleration, obstacle avoidance, and circular tests. Furthermore, representative shock response spectrums and power spectral densities of each test mode were acquired. Amplification or attenuation characteristics were investigated according to the load transfer path. The load attenuated significantly as it transferred from the trailer to the cask. By contrast, the load amplified as it transferred from the cask to the surrogate SNF assembly. The fuel loading location on the cask disk assembly did not exhibit a significant influence on the strain measured from the fuel rods. The principal strain was in the vertical direction, and relatively large strain values were obtained in spans with large spacing between spacer grids. The influence of the lateral location of fuel rods was also investigated. The fuel rods located at the side exhibited relatively large strain values than those located at the center. Based on the strain data obtained from the test results, a hypothetical road transportation scenario was established. A fatigue evaluation of the SNF rod was performed based on this scenario. The evaluation results indicate that no fatigue damage occurred on the fuel rods.

기존건축물 내진성능평가를 위한 전산시스템 모듈 개발 (Computerized Modules for Seismic Performance Evaluation of Existing Buildings)

  • Seismic performance evaluation of existing building usually needs much time and man power, especially in case of nonlinear analysis. Many data interaction steps for model transfer are needed and engineers should spend much time with simple works like data entry. Those time-consuming steps could be reduced by applying computerized and automated modules. In this study, computational platform for seismic performance evaluation was made with several computerized modules. StrAuto and floor load transfer module offers a path that can transfer most linear model data to nonlinear analysis model so that engineers can avoid a lot of repetitive work for input information for the nonlinear analysis model. And the new nonlinear property generator also helps to get the nonlinear data easily by importing data from structural design program. To evaluate the effect of developed modules on each stages, seismic performance evaluation of example building was carried out and the lead time was used for the quantitative evaluation.
