The Affective Influences on Perceptual Load Effect: An Event-related Potential Study (지각부담효과에 미치는 정서의 영향: ERP 연구)

  • To investigate how the valence of unattended background picture modulates perceptual processing of a target letter, participants were required to detect a target letter among six letters superimposed on an IAPS picture. Perceptual load was manipulated by varying the difficulty of letter detection, and behavioral results showed more accurate and faster detection responses at the low-load condition than at the high-load condition. The analysis of ERP data of control condition at which six letters were presented without an IAPS picture showed perceptual load effects on mean amplitude of N1 and P1 ERP components. At experimental condition including an IAPS picture, interaction between valence and perceptual load was observed on mean amplitude of N1 at posterior visual processing area, and the amplitude difference between low-load condition and high-load condition was larger on a negative background picture than on a neutral background picture. The results suggest that more attentional capacity might be consumed by a negative picture than by a neutral picture, and suggest that unattended affective picture is processed automatically and influence the early perceptual processing of target stimulus.

  • The indirect rotor position detection method using terminal voltage of brushless DC motor (BLDCM) requires simple control circuit, and has wide speed range of sensorless operation. However, because the substantial phase difference exists between real back emf and terminal voltage, the existing indirect detection method using analog filter which is affected by frequency, speed, and load sensitively cannot be synchronized with current, in the end, it advances or delays. This paper presents new analog filter circuit design for rotor position estimation in order to solve the problem, and proposes novel sensorless operation method which is stable even in high speed range and not influenced by parameters with analysis on phase difference by load and speed. Moreover, the appropriateness of the proposed sensorless drive in this paper is verified and analyzed by experimentation.

  • This paper is concerned with the nonlinear hyperelastic problem fur the incompressible characteristics of the rubber. Tension sensor is a strain gage type load cell element for a fence intrusion detection system and consists of the sensing part and the rubber housing. The analysis includes an elastic analysis and a hyperelastic analysis of a tension sensor for the deformed shape and variation of the maximum strain on the sensing part with respect to the vertical load. Numerical results show that the hyperelastic model is stiffer and less deformed than the elastic model. Comparing with the experimental test data, we know the hyperelastic model is the better approximation than the elastic model.

  • The impurity detection method applied to existing discriminated the normality(R, L, C) and impurity(Metal) load using mutual RFID/ID method in the contactless power supply in which the primary side and the secondary side are completely separation by using the contactless transformer. However, this kind of system is caused the high cost of the system and complexity of control. Therefore, in this paper was proposed the contact-less power transfer using the primary current that determine normality or impurity load by compare the primary current Amplitude to reference quantity value and design the 3[W] contact-less power transfer and conduct an experiment for demonstrate the validity.

  • In this paper, we have designed the ground faults detection and disconnection algorithm at normal rendition of AC 120V to 240V rating voltage. Ground faults in electrical network have the characteristics of low current, 60Hz frequency to 2kHz frequency. The load rendition are no load and 20A load. The controller have the trip level are 6mA with ground faults. Conventional controller does not have the miswiring condition. The Controller algorithm using pic16c71 microprotessor.

  • Carbon powders (CP) and carbon fiber (CF) were introduced info glass fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) composites to obtain fracture detection function. The composites were evaluated through the relation between a load-displacement curve and an electrical resistance change curve in three point bending test. CP containing FRP (CP-FRP) has a sensitivity of electrical resistance change at much lower load level than CF containing FRP (CF-FRP). In loading-unloading tests, CP-FRP showed a large amount of residual electrical resistance which enables the estimation of loading hysteresis.

  • In this paper, we are concerned with a maneuver detection algorithm which uses the 'lost' measurements down-sampled for computation load saving when a target is in quiescent motion. In general applications of estimation, measurements are available at a relatively high rate, while the estimation processing equipment can only operate at a lower sampling rate.   • Location awareness is an important capability for mobile-based indoor services. Those indoor services have motivated the implementation of methods that need high computational load cost and complex mechanisms for positioning prediction. These mechanisms, such as opportunistic sensing and machine learning, require more energy consumption to achieve accuracy. In this paper, we propose the Bluetooth Low Energy indoor zone detection (BLEIZOD) technique. This method exploits the concept of proximity zone to reduce the load cost and complexity. Our proposed method implements the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) function more effectively to gain accuracy and reduce energy consumption.

  • An algorithm was developed to detect and block serial arc currents using HPF. The AC series arc problem is that the load current is greater than the fault current and no leakage current occurs. As a solution, an arc detection method utilizing differences in high- frequency amplitudes was developed. HPT was applied to the load current and FFT was applied to eliminate low frequencies. An algorithm has been developed to detect arc waveforms when they exceed a certain value compared to the average of normal waveforms. Using one cycle of data, arc detection is faster and arc accidents are prevented.

  • Intrusion Detection System that protects system safely is necessary as network technology is developed rapidly and application division is wide. Intrusion Detection System among others can construct system without participation of other severs. But it has weakness that big load in system happens and it has low efficient because every traffics are inspected in case that mass traffic happen. In this study, Distributed Intrusion Detection System based on protocol is proposed to reduce traffic of intrusion detection system and provide stabilized intrusion detection technique even though mass traffic happen. It also copes to attack actively by providing automatic update of using rules to detect intrusion in sub Intrusion Detection System.
