Literature survey was undertaken to investigate what medicinal plants have been used as hepatotonic or for treatment of various liver diseases in far eastern asian countries. Total 59 plants were found to be described in the literatures. And 9 plants among them were studied on their hepatotonic activities against animal model of hepatitis. Several plants appeared to exhibit profound activities on the hepatitis model employed.

Mollusks were collected with Ponar grab from seven stations in lower part of Han river, Korea from June 1995 through May 1996. Basket sampler with artificial substrate was also employed to collect the adhesive mollusks. In addition to above mentioned sampling stations, Bam islet was surveyed. A total of species, Corbicula fluminea, Anodonta woodiana, Unio douglasiae, Limnoperna fortunei, corbicula fenouilliana and Physa acuta, were collected in lower part of Han river. Author reviewed the literatures on the ecological survey of molluscan fauna in Han river.

Objective: This study aims to survey visual search performance models to assess and predict individual's visual tasks in everyday life and industrial sites. Background: Visual search is one of the most frequently performed and critical activities in everyday life and works. Visual search performance models are needed when designing or assessing the visual tasks. Method: This study was mainly based on survey of literatures related to ergonomics relevant journals and web surfing. In the survey, the keywords of visual search, visual search performance, visual search model, etc. were used. Results: On the basis of the purposes, developing methods and results of the models, this study categorized visual search performance models into six groups: probability-based models, SATO models, visual lobe-based models, computer vision models, neutral network-based models and detection time models. Major models by the categories were presented with their advantages and disadvantages. More models adopted the accuracy among two factors of accuracy and speed characterizing visual tasks as dependent variables. Conclusion: This study reviewed and summarized various visual search performance models. Application: The results would be used as a reference or tool when assessing the visual tasks.

It is obviously true that the aspects of interior designs in current use have been combined with changing trends and developed and handed down throughout centuries. An examination of respective characteristics of spaces where Korean presidents have lived during their terms of office could get a useful clue by which both traces of Korean modernism and senses of modeling can be perceived. However, there are not enough literatures that can be verified. Therefore, it would be especially meaningful to find out and analyze documents unearthed. The purpose of this study is to consider the expressiveness of interior designs of presidential residence and office which have been combined with changing trends and developed, while classifying respective cases during presidential tenure by periods of Joseon Government general, U. S military administration, the first Republic, the second Republic, the third and the fourth Republic, the fifth Republic, and the sixth Republic, examining relevant literatures, photos, drawings and making on-the-spot survey. The study is also intended to get a better understanding of the aspects and the features of interior designs shown in presidential residences and offices that are not so much made known due to uneasy access to archives and to document the resources buried in oblivion and to consider the historical meanings.

The purpose of this study is to plan, design and reflect to the future naturalization of the urban rivers by using the literatures, field survey results and aerial photography of Milyang River as the case regarding the effect of physical factors of urban rivers on landscape, defining those factors as Sammon fine forest, outdoor stage, Youngnamlu, RC stadium, stroll roads and bicycle roads, artificial island, outdoor swimming pool and sculpture park, and by suggesting the specific characteristics of the landscape according to those factors. The questionnaire survey was made to understand the users' satisfaction and attributes. The statistical analysis was applied, the frequency analysis and percentage calculation were used to find out the citizenship and perception toward the physical factors, and paired-sample T test to compare the average.

The technological innovation has been recognized critical factors of productivity of firms and key contribution of improvement of firm performance for a long time. Many researchers have investigated the relationship between R&D investment or patents as a proxy of innovation and productivity. But there were some problem such as lacking of data and ambiguity of innovation definition. So, previous literatures have some difficulty in reliability of analysis for using only survey data. And investigating the relationship R&D and other factors is very difficult. Therefore, this paper tries to investigate and analysis the relationship between innovation and performance of Korean manufacturing firms. Using KIS2002(Korean Innovation survey 2002) which was based on Oslo manual in 2002 and financial data of firms (KISINFO), I will intend to establish the reliability of multiple analysis. In detail, I will investigate whether the innovation input have effect on the innovation output, whether the innovation output have effect on productivity for heterogeneity and what factor of innovation environment have effect on the innovation itself.

The fact that cloud computing services have been proposed in recent years, organizations and individuals face with various challenges and problems such as how to migrate applications and software platforms into cloud or how to ensure security of migrated applications. This study reviews the current challenges and open issues in cloud computing, with the focus on autonomic resource management especially in federated clouds. In addition, this study provides recommendations and research roadmaps for scientific activities, as well as potential improvements in federated cloud computing. This survey study covers results achieved through 190 literatures including books, journal and conference papers, industrial reports, forums, and project reports. A solution is proposed for autonomic resource management in the federated clouds, using machine learning and statistical analysis in order to provide better and efficient resource management.

The purpose of this study was to find job maturity of dental technology students in Taegu area. In order to accomplish the objectives stated above, the following research methods were utilized : 1. The related literatures including previous studies and journal were reviewed to develop the questionnaire for this purpose. 2. Field survey and questionnaire survey were conducted to collect data from 360 students sampled and analyzed by frequency percentage $X^2$-score. In consquence of analysis of the responses, the finding were as follows : 1. The job maturity of students was shown high. The grade point of 98.6 percent students as a whole was above three point. 2. As compared by academic year of sophomore students was higher than that of freshmen's, and male students were shown greater score than female students.
