Smart factory has been regarded as a big opportunity for manufacturing industries. However, little literature has been studied for the current status of Korean smart factory. Our paper tries to find gaps between research and real world by summarizing the recent literature and cases in Korean context. As the present level of smart factory introductions in Korean small manufacturing firms is lower than what a variety of literature says, our study points out that more efforts, investments and government support are required to catch up with the knowhow and technologies of developed countries although real-time control, enhanced productivity have been obtained. In future research, we will continue the smart factory study with the accumulated real data.

This study explores the concept of postmodernism in literature. There are many ideas which have conflicted with each other, but now postmodernism is real concept. We cannot deny. By researching papers of Jean-François Lyotard, Jean Baudrillard, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, Julia Kristeva, Roland Barthes, Ihab Hassan etc. we find out many characteristics of postmodernism. From that, we propose a conceptual understanding of postmodern literature as follows: Starting from the late 1910s with the poetry of Dadaism (1916), Franz Kafka's prose (Metamorphosis 1915) and drama by Samuel Beckett (Waiting for Godot 1953), postmodern literature coexists with modern literature and is a thriving form from 1960 on. Postmodernism is opposed to modernism in nature in that it accepts nothingness, chaos, games and intertextuality. It tries to solve some difficult problems of modernism making use of science to free people from a life of darkness and dogma. Postmodernism is associated with the information technology revolution, an economic, scientific and technological boom and rapid urbanization.

Background : The varieties of manifestations referred to headache and vertigo have been long complicated physicians in the efficient diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. Objectives : Establish a distinctive and efficient acupuncture method for the treatment of headache and dizziness based in literature research. Method : We reviewed four Korean medical literature, "治腫指南Guide to Swollen Sore Treatment", "東醫寶鑑Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine", "鍼灸經驗方Experiential Prescriptions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion", and "舍岩鍼法Essential Rhymes on Acupuncture and Moxibustion by Master Sa-am", and analyzed the therapeutic characteristics in the treatment of headache and vertigo. Result : 1. "治腫指南Guide to Swollen Sore Treatment" inserted needle in GV20百會 and waited until the skin erupts and heat burns, then applied in those regions affected. 2. "東醫寶鑑Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine" mostly applied moxibustion on headache, however, needling acupoints such as GV20百會, GV24神庭, GV23上星, GV22顖會 were also considered important. 3. "鍼灸經驗方Experiential Prescriptions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion" used moxa cones on headache in order to disperse heat and direct Gi downward. 4. "校勘 舍岩道人鍼法Essential Rhymes on Acupuncture and Moxibustion by Master Sa-am" defined the cause of dizziness, wood excavates earth and earth kills water. Conclusions : After previous study on eye, oral, glottal, labial, dental diseases and stroke, we could also find various efficient methods according to headache and vertigo, through literature research of Korean medical classics. This study will concurrently result in establishing distinctive therapeutic method characteristic of Korea.

Repetitive sequences such as SINE, LINE, and LTR elements form a major part of eukaryotic genomes. A literature search tool that summarizes the information contained within repeat elements would provide biologists in the field of genomics with a useful tool for analyzing genomic sequence features. We developed a java program designed to make literature access easier by using two search engines simultaneously. RepWeb is a web-based search system that provides a user friendly interface for searching the reference data and journals for information related to repeat elements by using the search engines, Google Scholar and PubMed, simultaneously. It provides an interface that displays the repeat element- related biological information, and includes useful functions such as the production of a repeat tree, clickable links to PubMed and Google Scholar, exporting, and sorting a field into date, author, journal and title.

The purpose of this study is to improve mobile service in academic libraries that can support the real-time need of users. This paper consists of the literature research, present status research, case studies and questionnaire survey. Based on the literature review, present status research, case studies and survey, the managerial plans to expand mobile service are suggested as four aspects - development of service types, expansion of the facilities and collections, marketing and evaluation.

The objective of this study is to investigate the current usage and Satisfaction Levels of modern literature services provided by the National Library of Korea, and explore the strategies to promote the use of the modern literature service. The result show that the usage rate of users for the modern literature service is very low, and the Satisfaction Level of the experienced users are found to be normal. Therefore, in order to increase the utilization rate and the Satisfaction Level, first, it is required for active promotion of current modern literature services. Second, the public relations of exhibitions and viewing information are provided direct access to users of the modern literary materials, so various types of exhibitions and events are necessary. Third, although respondents said that library homepage, portal site, and SNS are effective public relations methods, in the case of less-educated and seniors, they prefer public relations through offline media. Therefore, deeper theoretical considerations are necessary in order to select affordable public relations media.

In this study, we examined whether the systematic literature review method used in the field of evidence-based medicine could be used for post-market clinical evaluation of medical devices by modifying them to fit the regulatory perspective of medical devices in Korea. For this purpose, systematic literature review was modified and applied to conduct a clinical literature survey on the ophthalmic electrosurgical system(Trabectome^®, NeoMediX Corp) used for the treatment of glaucoma. A total of six documents were finally selected, and clinical safety and efficacy information on the indications of the ophthalmic electrosurgical system were effectively presented. In addition, general safety information and unexpected safety information could be distinguished through comparison with medical device adverse event reporting cases. The method used in this study is expected to be used in various ways throughout post-market medical device safety management system and for the purpose of regulation improvement, especially in the field of ophthalmic electrosurgical system.

As the foundation of the National Digital Library(NDL) by the National Library of Korea is in progress, there has been an increasing interest in developing a policy for its successful operations. Although the research and support related to building domestic library policies have been limited so far, it is an important ongoing problem to develop and improve systematic and detailed policies for information services of digital libraries in order for them to continuously advance in a rapidly changing information environment along with various issues. Therefore, through a thorough review of the literature and overseas cases related to the development of digital library policies, this research aims to provide a new direction for establishing service policies of domestic digital libraries including the NDL by extracting its critical factors and issues.

Most of Korean Medical researcher is using MEDLINE which is made by National Library of Medicine in U.S. However we have not such total database of medical information. And so, we have designed medical literature article system, serial union cataloging system and interlibrary loan system as library total system. All Korean Medical Association member input bibliographic data and holding data. Medical researcher can access medical literature article system at www and then access holding data and they can use interlibrary loan system in online. The object of this total system is that medical researcher as well as medical librarian can easily retrive medical literature and gain original article.

Purpose: This article aims to provide a balanced understanding of the structural conditions and social processes involved in the creation and diffusion of innovation. Research design, data and methodology: Drawing on organizational and economic sociology and strategic management literature, this article offers a conceptual framework that highlights the two dimensions of network structures: the vertical dimension focusing on power and legitimacy vs. the horizontal dimension highlighting information value. By organizing the literature on the functions and consequences of network, this paper advances a theoretical perspective in understanding the vast array of empirical studies on innovation involving network analysis. Results: Using the proposed framework, this article explains how the mechanisms of power, legitimacy, and information value work together with social structural factors, thus enriching our understanding of innovation. This study reveals that the information mechanism (horizontal dimension) has been most important in innovation creation and diffusion, and that trust, credibility, and legitimacy are operative in innovation diffusion. Conclusions: This paper contributes to the literature by responding to calls to extend existing frameworks to better account for the dynamics between innovation and network. In addition, this article highlights how conceptualizing innovation within the horizontal-vertical dimensions of network structures, creates new opportunities for future research.
