As composite materials, the addition of steel fiber in concrete significantly improves the engineering properties of structural members, notably shear strength and ductility, In this study, shear capacity evaluation method according to steel fiber contents was proposed from the literature surveys and member tests. For this, previously proposed five shear strength equation were examined and evaluated by maximum shear strength and shear capacity ratio. From the parametric study and regression analysis, following conclusion can be made; the maximum shear strength of steel fiber reinforced column will be estimated by relative shear capacity ratio.

Most authorities of the Total Quality Management.(TQM) movement emphasize learning and training as an integral part of TQM, and it is well accepted in practice. However, despite this strong normative emphasis on its role, learning and training has not been systematically addressed in the TQM literature for its contents and a, pp.oaches. I first review the concept of TQM, its principles and implementation process to indentify the needs for learning and training, and the nature of experiential learning and training. I then discuss the necessity and effectiveness of experiential learning and training in TQM.

This study intended to review the historical mate selection process and to present wholesome mate selection process. For this purpose, reviewing the contents of secondary sources and novel literature. The following conclusions were drawn from this study: Mate selection process was a kind of culture which was influenced by social atmosphere. And pre-17th century, most of the young people had social intercourse liberally. Therefore we must constitute wholesome mate selection culture through early socialization about heterosexual social intercourse.

In this study, diagnostic model was proposed to evaluate and rate the innovation capability of SMEs and suggest alternatives to insufficient capabilities and optimum supporting programs for SMEs from literature survey, GIC model was composed based on KIS value and ASTI(Associate of Science and Technology information) SMEs database, thus, sample deviation can be caused and securing accurate data is insufficient. To compose model by analyzing characteristics of companies accurately, various companies' data for long period will be required.

The purpose of this study was to examine 30 logical connectors in the essay writing of Korean university students for comparison with the use in similar types of native English writing. The main questions addressed were as follows: Do Korean EFL students tend to over- or underuse logical connectors? What types of connectors differentiate Korean learners from native use? To answer these questions, EFL learner data were compared with data from native speakers using computerized corpora and linguistic software tools to speed up the initial stage of the linguistic analysis. The analysis revealed that Korean EFL learners tend to overuse logical connectors in the initial position of the sentence, and that they tend to overuse additive connectors such as 'moreover', 'besides', and 'furthermore', whereas they underuse contrastive connectors such as 'yet' and 'instead'. On the basis of the results of this study, some pedagogical implications are made concerning the need for teaching of the semantic, stylistic, and syntactic behavior of logical connectors.

With the rapid development in computer hardware and software in recent years, the contents and methods of teaching English have been altered greatly. The use of multimedia and the Internet as a means of language teaching is increasing as information technology accelerates. Using multimedia and the Internet in language teaching allows teachers to have more time to devote to interacting with their students. Above all, it arouses in students the motivation for learning and enables each student to study with the speed commensurate to his/her own ability. Both teachers and students can choose their own style that is most efficient for their classes. When students are efficiently stimulated through visual and auditory materials, they can be more easily motivated to utilize and develop creative techniques by using multimedia and the Internet. Thus, in the information age, it would be desirable to innovate the existing concepts of lineal education and allow more student-centered lessons to more readily expose students to contents and experiences according to their own demands.

Since 2014, the wave of "Mass entrepreneurship and innovation" has been set off in China, and various innovation and entrepreneurship communities have emerged and become gathering places for entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study is to consider the needs of entrepreneurs and combine the characteristics of entrepreneurial space to put forward effective environmental design and improvement strategies for the smart entrepreneurship community. This study was conducted through a literature review, online information survey, and field survey, and the research objects included high-quality entrepreneurs(refers to entrepreneurs with higher education background and certain technical advantages, mainly including master's degree and doctor, overseas returnees and university professors) and various entrepreneurial communities at home and abroad,(it includes cultural entrepreneurship community, science and technology entrepreneurship community, residential and office integration entrepreneurship community).

Previous studies of the Korean wave have focused mainly on fan clubs by taking an ethnographic approach in the context of countries in Southeast Asia and, in a minor extension, Europe. This study fills the gap in the literature by providing a social network analysis of Tweets in the context of Mexico. We used the Twitter API in order to collect Twitter comments with the hashtag #kpop from March to August 2012, analyzing them with a set of webometric methodologies. The results indicate that #kpop power Twitterians in Mexico were more likely to be related to the public television broadcast. The sent Tweets were usually related to their programs and promotion for Kpop artists. These Tweets tended to be positive, and according to URLs, not only Kpop but also Korean dramas had considerable influence on the Korean wave in Mexico.

In the past decade, East Asian Research has received attention from researchers as well as in South Korea society-at-large. The broad category of East Asian Research includes various disciplinary fields, such as "history, economics, and politics; however, few studies have used quantitative analysis to explore its development. In this paper, we used network analysis to identify the disciplines and active research areas, focusing on productivity, collaboration patterns, and citation networks of East Asian Research in South Korea. For this study, 6,646 journal publications related with East Asian Research and indexed by KCI (Korean Citation Index) during the 10-year period of 2004-2013 were considered. Results show that East Asian Research was led during this period by sole-researchers, rather than interdisciplinary studies. Moreover, a co-institution network represents active institutions with a high degree and collaborative centrality. In terms of journal-journal citation networks, journals belonging to both "history" and "Korean literature" disciplines were dominant.

Anime is very popular in Japan, it has also gained a following in America and is beginning to hit the mainstream. Anime is gaining popularity in the United States as it is shown more on television, most noticeably on the Sci-Fi Channel with shows such as Saturday Anime and during Anime Week and on Cartoon Network with shows such as Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z being shown every weekday during the Toonami block. In this paper, I present the key factors behind the success of anime in USA. To find out the factors, I research literature and simple survey. The differences of anime from us animation make anime popular. Anime-related goods such as video games, trading cards, and characters' jewelry aid the anime growing popularity. A booming trend in admiration for Japan is one of the key factors behind anime's success. In spite of disputing about Japanese animation, anime is starting to have some influence on US animation and also young American. Anime's success factors in USA could suggest that Korean Manhwa and Korean animation have to prepare strategies for rising popularity in oversea.
