선형 브러시리스 DC 모터의 정밀 위치제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Precision Position Control for the Linear BLDC Motor)

  • The brushless DC motor(BLDCM) is widely used in many applications. One of the application of the BLDCM is the stage which is one of process in the semiconductor manufacturing processes. Very high performance is required in the stage process. In this paper, the 1 degree of freedom positioning system for the basic technology of the stage is studied. The linearization method is proposed to make the controller design procedures easy by measuring the thrust force ripple using the strain gauge. And through the experiments, it is proved that the inner velocity control loop is necessary to make more precise positioning control system.

PID 제어를 이용한 파장 스위핑 레이저의 스위핑 선형화 (Sweeping Linearization of Wavelength Swept Laser using PID Control)

  • In this study, a PID control method for sweeping automatic linearization of a wavelength swept laser is proposed. First, the closedloop transfer function embodying the PID control is derived. Through the simulation of the function, Kp = 0.022, Ki = 0.008, Kd = 0.002 were obtained as the best PID coefficients for fast linear sweeping. The performance test using the PID coefficients showed that linear sweeping was held up well with a 98.7% decrement in nonlinearity after the 10th feedback, and 45 nm sweeping range, 1 kHz sweeping frequency, and 8.8 mW average optical power were obtained. The equipment consists of a fiber Bragg grating array, an optical-electronic conversion circuit, and a LabVIEW FPGA program. Every 5s, automatic feedback and PID control generate a new compensated waveform and produce a better linear sweeping than before. Compared with nonlinear sweeping, linear sweeping can reduce the cumbersome and time-consuming recalibration processes and produce more accurate measurement results.

  • In this study a control law and performance potential of semi-active suspensions for a tractor/semi-trailer have been investigated. The control law for airbag semi-active suspensions modeled in this study is developed using feedback linearization and Linear Quadratic (LQ) optimal control method. Inherent nonlinearity of the airbag suspensions has been considered in the control law development. It has been shown that the proposed semi-active control law provides better performance than that of well known sky-hook damping control strategy.

  • In this paper, to alleviate the effect of approximation error and discontinuous variation of the controller parameters, the variable structure control scheme using neural networks is presented. In the proposed method, the variable structure control rules for each local linear models are designed to reject the effect of linearization error caused by linearization of the nonlinear system. And neural network infer approximate controller gains from combination of local linear control gains. The proposed control methods can be used to control nonlinear systems and it has robust characteristic against system parameter variations and external disturbances.

  • The paper presents the experimental analysis of a Stewart platform-based force-torque senor. The closed-form solution of forward kinematics of the Stewart platform is derived approximately by way of a linearization technique, and the solution is used in the force analysis of the force-torque sensor. An exper- mental studies show that the proposed method including gravity compensation algorithm is valid for Stew- art platform-based force-torque sensors. The performance of the developed force-torque sensor is evaluated in view of accuracy and linearity in measurements.

  • In this paper we treat the application of fault detection method in DC motor having both model mismatch and noise problems. A fault detection method presented by Kwon et al. (1994) for SISO systems has been here experimented. The model mismatch includes here linearization error as well as undermodelling. Comparisons are made with the real plant, DC motor. The experimental result of robust fault detection method is shown to have good performance via with the alternative fault detection method which do not account noise.

  • 본 논문에서는 비선형 지진격리교량의 최적 설계 방법을 제시하였다. 최적설계를 위한 목적함수로는 교각과 지진격리장치의 파괴확률을 고려하였으며, 상충하는 두 목적함수를 동시에 최적화하는 다수의 해를 효율적으로 검색하고자 유전자 알고리즘에 기반한 다목적 최적화기법을 도입하였다. 또한, 최적화 과정에서 요구되는 다수의 비선형 시간이력해석을 수행하지 않고도 교량의 확률적 응답을 효율적으로 예측할 수 있는 추계학적 선형화 방법을 접목하였다. 제시하는 방법의 효율성을 검증하기 위한 수치 예로서 실제 교량인 남한강교를 고려하였고, 제안하는 방법과 기존 비선형 시간이력해석을 이용한 생애주기비용 기반 설계법을 각각 적용하여 내진성능을 비교하였다. 내진성능을 비교한 결과, 제시하는 방법이 기존의 비용에 기반한 최적설계보다 우수한 성능 및 경제성을 보임을 검증하였다. 또한, 다양한 지진하중에 대해서도 제안된 방법이 보다 개선된 성능을 보임을 확인하였다.

  • An acceleration technique combined with the discrete ordinates method which has been widely used in the solution of neutron transport phenomena is applied to the solution of radiative transfer equation. The self-adjoint form of the second order radiation intensity equation is used to enhance the stability of the solution, and a new linearization method is developed to avoid the nonlinearity of the material temperature equation. This new acceleration method is applied to the well known Marshak wave problem, and the numerical result is compared with that of a non-accelerated calculation

  • This paper deals with the fault detection problem in uncertain linear multivariable systems having both model mismatch and noise. A robust detection presented by Kwon et al.(1994) for SISO systems has been here extended to the multivariable systems are derived. The model mismatch includes here linearization error as well as undermodelling. Comparisons are made with alternative fault detection method which do not account noise. The new method is shown to have good performance.
