자립형 이동로봇 구동을 위한 직류 서보전동기 PLL 속도제어 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on PLL Speed Control System of DC Servo Motor for Mobile Robot Drive)

  • The speed control associated with dc servo motors for direct-drive applications of mobile robot is considered in this study. Robot is moved by power wheeled steering of two dc servo motors mounted to it. In order to cooperate with micro-computer and to achieve the high-performance operation of dc servo motor, speed control system is composed of a digital Phase Locked Loop and H-type drive circuit. And the motor is driven by Pulse Width Modulations. In controlling PWM, it is modified to compose of H-type drive circuit with feedback diodes and switching transistor and design of control sequence so that it may show linear characteristics. As a result, speed characteristics of motor showed linear features. In order to get data on design of PLL control system, the parameters of 80[W[ motor & robot device is measured by simple software control. The PLL speed control system is schemed and designed by leaner drive circuit and measured parameters. A complete speed control system applied to 80[W] dc servo motor showed good linearity, stability and high response. Also, it is verified that the PLL speed control system has good compatibility as a mobile robot driver.

밸브구동용 보이스 코일 선형 포스모터 설계와 해석 연구 (A Study on the Design and Analysis of a Voice Coil Linear Force Motor for Hydraulic Valve)

  • The voice coil linear force motor is a kind of a direct drive motion device that uses a permanent magnetic field and coil winding to produce force. In order to design a voice coil linear force motor, an exact calculations of the required force, the flux density in air gap and the flux pathway are needed. A conventional method can be used usually to calculate the flux density in air gap, but with this method it is needed to find a magnetic circuit revision constant. In this paper a voice coil linear force motor is designed by conventional design method and analyzed by 3D simulation program "Flux". For the prototype linear force motor, the results of the calculated by conventional design method and the analyzed by 3D simulation program are compared with the test result. Finally it is showed that the magnetic circuit revision constant which is found by comparing of the analyzed and the measured data can be used for the design of the voice coil type linear force motor to minimize the trial and error.

Improved performance of a linear pulse motor with repetitive positioning control

  • We propose a method to improve repeatability positioning precision of a linear pulse motor. By using this method the systematic error which may make the precision worse can be suppressed easily. And also we show that Power OP-Amp drive system enables the accidental error to be suppressed in comparison with PWM control drive system using IGBT inverter. As a result of the suppression of systematic and accidental error, improved performance of a linear pulse motor with repetitive positioning control is shown by experimental results.

Design and Analysis of a Dual-Stator Spoke-Type Linear Vernier Machine for Wave Energy Extraction

  • In this paper, a dual-stator, spoke-type linear vernier machine (DSSLVM) for wave energy extraction application was proposed. This machine is capable of producing a competitively high thrust force and force density at a low operation speed in direct drive systems. The operation principal and working of the proposed DSSLVM were studied. The stator core height is adjusted to improve the overall force density of the proposed machine while reducing the force ripple. To evaluate the advantages of the proposed DSSLVM, the main performance was compared with that of a recently developed linear primary permanent magnet vernier machine (LPPMVM). The proposed machine exhibited greater thrust force and force density, an improved power factor and lower force ripple with the same permanent magnet (PM) volume compared to the LPPMVM.

가로주행식 케미게이션 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Linear Chemigation System)

  • A linear chemigation system, integrating agrichemical appication units of pesticide and fertilizer into an irrigation system, was selected as a suitable model for the cost savings in farm management and automation. Technical designs were conducted in the areas of structure, power, drive, control, and hydraulic systems. An experimental farm was sectioned into the fields of 40m by 200m and systemized with the linear-move chemigation system of 36m in span. The chemigation system consisted of a base unit monitoring and controlling overall operation, and a driving unit traveling linearly and injecting agrichemicals. Monitoring and interlocking systems were utilized against unexpected malfunctions of power, injection and drive systems using radio freuency modems between the units. The system can be also modified to various farm sizes and stationary systems of indoor and outdoor.

  • This study was represented the improvement of the flexible position control for linear motion of hybrid type linear pulse motor(HLPM). The driving method used a minute 125 microstep drive instead of full step drive method. The digital control method was applied to the PI control for more stable position control, at this time the PI control parameters have gained by a Ziegler-Nichols turning method. The loop transfer function of control system was combined with both motor transfer function and digital PI control equation. Such, the proper for digital PI control system is verified to through the simulation and experimental result of the stability step response and bode plot with proper gain and phase margin.

  • 본 논문에서는 고성능 단축 선형전동기에 적용할 수 있는 최단시간 위치 패턴 알고리즘에 대하여 논한다. 근래 들어 LCD/PDP 및 반도체 산업이 발달함에 따라 대형의 고성능 위치제어 시스템에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있으며 이러한 시스템에서는 공정 주기의 단축을 위하여 시간요소를 최소화시킨 최적 위치 패턴이 반드시 필요하다. 특히 반도체 산업 분야에서는 공작기계 분야와 달리 3차원 입체 위치 패턴보다는 단축 패턴에 대한 수요가 비교적 많은 편이다. 본 연구에서는 가속도가 사다리형인 위치 패턴을 기본으로 하여 연구를 진행하였으며 위치 및 시간을 변수로 고려한 패턴 분석을 통하여 최단시간에 목적하는 위치에 도달하기 위한 패턴을 비교적 간단히 구현할 수 있음을 보이고 이를 시뮬레이션 및 간이 실험으로 구현 가능성을 입증하였다.

로프리스 엘리베이터 구동제어기 개발연구 (Study of Drive Control System for Ropeless Elevator)

  • 본 논문은 로프리스 엘리베이터의 상용화에 앞서 로프리스 엘리베이터 구동제어기의 요구기술과 개발 시의 문제점 및 개선방향을 제시하기 위한 속도제어 연구를 수행하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 기존 일반적인 PI제어기의 적용 시 문제점의 도출과 부하옵저버를 사용한 개선된 제어기의 방안에 대해서 중점을 두었으며 연구의 구현을 위하여 로프리스 엘리베이터를 소형시스템으로 제작하고 또한 자체 리니어 속도센서를 제작, 본 시스템에 적용하여 속도제어시험을 통하여 제어 성능의 정도와 리니어 속도센서의 적용가능성도 검토하였다. 본 연구의 수행 결과 로프리스 엘리베이터의 실현 가능성을 확인하였으며 구동제어 기술의 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었다. 그러나 향후 상용화를 위해는 속도센서의 분해능, 승차감을 고려한 추력리플의 저감 문제, 정밀 구조물의 제작 및 조립 등 지속적인 개선연구도 요구되었다.

광 디스크 드라이브의 트랙 추종 서보 시스템을 위한 반복 제어 (Repetitive Control for the Track-Following Servo System of an Optical Disk Drive)

  • Disturbances acting on the track-following servo system of an optical disk drive inherently contain significant periodic components that cause tracking errors of a periodic nature. Such disturbances can be effectively rejected by employing a repetitive controller, which must be implemented carefully in consideration of system stability. Plant uncertainty makes it difficult to design a repetitive controller that will improve tracking performance yet preserve system stability. In this paper, we examine the problem of designing a repetitive controller for an optical disk drive track-following servo system with uncertain plant coefficients. We propose a graphical design technique based on the frequency domain analysis of linear interval systems. This design method results in a repetitive controller that will maintain system stability against all admissible plant uncertainties. We show simulation and experimental results to verify the validity of the proposed design method.

  • As optical disk drives become designed for portable and hostile environment, higher storage density and smaller size, optical disk drives have a possibility to miss the track and not to read the data. This paper presents the modeling of an optical disk drive as 3-DOF system. Optical disk drives are tested with a linear drop test device and their results are compared with simulation results in order to verify the shock analysis. Finally, this paper shows shock response of a optical disk drive with changes of parameters
