  • A voice type Moving Coil Linear Oscillatory Actuator(MC-LOA) has unbalanced magnetic circuit structure. Its asymmetric magnetic flux distribution along the mover directions causes shifting of displacement center to one side. Therefore, this paper analyzes both thrust and displacement characteristics and settles the unbalanced flux problem by performing shape optimization. The propriety of the improved design model has been verified by dynamic analysis based on the coupling of kinetic and electric equations.

  • A moving-coil-type linear oscillatory actuator(LOA) consists of the NdFeB permanent magnets with high specific energy as the stator. a coil-wrapped nonmagnetic hollow rectangular structure. LOA system have the push/pull effect caused by the unbalanced magnetic field. In order to eliminate the unbalanced thrust, we propose the control algorithm and construct the LOA driver. As a results, we obtain the balanced oscillating thrust.

Active Trajectory Tracking Control of AMR using Robust PID Tunning

  • Trajectory tracking of the AMR robot is one research for the AMR robot navigation. For the control system of the Autonomous mobile robot(AMR) being in non-honolomic system and the complex relations among the control parameters, it is d ifficult to solve the problem based on traditional mathematics model. In this paper, we presents a simple and effective way of implementing an adaptive tracking controller based on the PID for AMR robot trajectory tracking. The method uses a non-linear model of AMR robot kinematics and thus allows an accurate prediction of the future trajectories. The proposed controller has a parallel structure that consists of PID controller with a fixed gain. The control law is constructed on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory. Computer simulation for a differentially driven non-holonomic AMR robot is carried out in the velocity and orientation tracking control of the non-holonomic AMR. The simulation results of wheel type AMR robot platform show that the proposed controller is more robust than the conventional back-stepping controller to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

엔코더리스 마그넷 모션을 이용한 위치제어에 대한 리니어모터 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Position Control System Using Encoderless Magnetic Motion)

  • 영구자석 선형 동기전동기(PMLSM : Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor)의 구조에서, 영구자석이 레일에 고정되고 코일이 움직이는 기존 영구자석 선형 동기전동기와 달리(영구자석 = 고정자, 코일 = 이동자), 코일이 고정되고, 영구자석을 움직이는(영구자석 = 이동자, 코일 = 고정자) 구조의 위치제어시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 위치 측정은 2개의 홀센서를 사용한다. 이 방식은 엔코더 출력 펄스 신호 대신에 2개의 홀센서에서 발생되는 구형파 신호를 4체배하여 이동자의 속도와 위치를 추정한다. 구형파를 발생시키는 2개의 홀센서로 PMLSM의 벡터제어를 구현하였을 때 정격속도 범위 내에서 안정적이고 효율적으로 제어되는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증하였다. 또 하드웨어 실험으로 시스템의 위치제어성능은 $30{\sim}50{\mu}m$의 측정범위 내에서 $10{\sim}20{\mu}m$의 정밀도로 기존시스템보다 2배나 개선되며, 경제적 효율성과 제안된 위치제어 개념의 실용적인 유용성도 확인하였다. 2개의 홀센서를 이용한 벡터제어는 협소한 공간에도 취부 할 수 있으므로 엔코더나 레졸버의 장착이 어려운 시스템에 적용될 수 있다.

  • 이 논문에서는 2 차원 실린더의 와류유발진동에 따른 Lock-in 현상에 대해 수치해석을 수행하였다. 실린더의 운동을 모사하기 위해 변형격자와 고정격자를 이용하였다. 스프링 상사기법을 이용하여 격자를 변형하였다. 격자수 및 시간 간격 등을 조절해 얻은 수렴된 수치해가 비교 및 검증에 사용되었다. 또한, 유체-구조 결합 방법들의 효율성과 정확도를 비교 검토하였다.

능동 구속감쇠층을 이용한 아크형태 셸 모델에 대한 진동특성 연구 (Vibration Characteristic Study of Arc Type Shell Using Active Constrained Layer Damping)

  • The Active Constrained Layer Damping(ACLD) combines the simplicity and reliability of passive damping with the low weight and high efficiency of active control to attain high damping characteristics. The proposed ACLD treatment consists of a viscoelastic damping which is sandwiched between an active piezoelectric layer and a host structure. In this manner, the smart ACLD consists of a Passive Constrained Layer Damping(PCLD) which is augmented with an active control in response to the structural vibrations. The arc type shell model is introduced to describe the interactions between the vibrating host structure, piezoelectric actuator and viscoelastic damping. The system is modeled by applying ARMAX model and changing a state-space form through the system identification method. An optimum control law for the piezo actuator is obtain by LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) method. The performance of the ACLD system is determined and compared with PCLD in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the ACLD treatment. Also, the actuation capability of a piezo actuator is examined experimentally by varying thickness of viscoelastic material(VEM).

박물관 관람공간구성의 유형분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Typological Analysis of Museum Layouts)

  • The study intends to systematically arrange and classify the museum layouts in terms of their structure of exhibition space. The exhibition space, here, means the whole area where visitors are allowed to move and visit in museums. Through this, I tied to understand the characteristics and trends comparing and analyzing international and national exhibition space layout, and then grope the standard in case of establishing museum. The first criteria is based on the point of view that the typical museum experience is made in the exhibition space. Accordingly, the exhibition space can be grouped into two categories; one is 'room type' consisting mostly of individual rooms as in classical museums, and the other is 'open plan type' consisting free standing walls as in miesian free plan. The second criteria is dependent on the way how visitors move about in exhibition spaces. In other words, museum layouts can be categorized in terms of mutual connection between individual spaces including exhibition spaces and corridor spaces designated for the purpose of moving. consequently, the layouts can be categorized into five groups such as 'free plan', 'linear type', 'room to room', 'room & corridor' and 'composition type'. The third criteria is about the overall structure of museum layouts including such elements as whether it contains a certain type of central major space or not and whether and how the exhibition spaces are connected to it. By applying these classificatory criteria, the study analyzed and classified 90 sample of museum layouts in order to understand clearly and succintly the spatial characteristics and implications contained in them.

Direct assignment of the dynamics of a laboratorial model using an active bracing system

  • This article describes the research work involving the implementation of an Active Bracing System aimed at the modification of the initial dynamics of a laboratorial building structure to a new desired dynamics. By means of an adequate control force it is possible to assign an entirely new dynamics to a system by moving its natural frequencies and damping ratios to different values with the purpose of achieving a better overall structural response to external loads. In Civil Engineering applications, the most common procedures for controlling vibrations in structures include changing natural frequencies in order to avoid resonance phenomena and increasing the damping ratios of the critical vibration modes. In this study, the actual implementation of an active system is demonstrated, which is able to perform such modifications in a wide frequency range; to this end, a plane frame physical model with 4 degrees-of-freedom is used. The Active Bracing System developed is actuated by a linear motor controlled by an algorithm based on pole assignment strategy. The efficiency of this control system is verified experimentally by analyzing the control effect obtained with the modification of the initial dynamic parameters of the plane frame and observing the subsequent structural response.

무선 위치기반서비스에서 영역질의처리를 위한 계층적 인덱스기법 (A Hierarchical Sequential Index Scheme for Range Queries in Wireless Location-based Services)

  • 본 논문은 무선 브로드캐스트 환경에서 인접한 노드들로부터의 정보를 활용하여 질의접근시간과 에너지소모를 줄이기 위한 인덱스 기법을 소개한다. 우리는 정보의 선별적 청취를 위해 HLBS라 불리는 3-계층 위치기반 순차적 접근방식의 인덱스를 제안한다. HLBS는 객체들의 위치를 참고한 순차적인 접근탐색 구조를 통해 포인터 없이 모든 객체의 인덱스를 구성한다. HLBS는 단순하고 적은 크기의 인덱스 구조로 무선 브로드캐스트 채널에서 효율적인 정보탐색을 지원한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안 기법의 효율적인 정보검색의 성능을 증명하였다.

기하학적 보존을 만족하는 최소제곱법을 활용한 무격자 구조해석 기법 개발 (Development of Meshless Method Using Least-Squares Method with Geometric Conservation Law for Structural Dynamic Analysis)

  • A meshless technique using the geometric conservation least-squares method (GC-LSM) was devised to discretize the governing equation of linear elasticity. Although the finite-element method is widely used for structural analysis, a meshless method was developed because of its advantages in a moving grid system. This work is the preliminary phase for developing a fully meshless-based fluid-structure interaction solver. In this study, Cauchy's momentum equation was discretized in strong form using GC-LSM for the structural domain, and the Newmark beta method was used for time integration. The solver was validated in 1D, 2D, and 3D benchmarking problems. Static and dynamic results were obtained. The results are more accurate than those of analytic solutions.
