교통신호의 자동최적제어에 관한 연구 (Automatic Optimum Control of the Traffic Signal Lights)

  • The electrical detector and computer systems for traffic flow and speed measurement are demonstrated in this paper. For the best traffic control optimization, linear and non-linear equations in the transition state are dealing with the perturbation of the linear car-following. In the conclusions, we construct a realizable system for the central automatic traffic control with a computer. Furthermore, fixed periodic switching system by manual with the automatic traffic control system is recommended for emergency perturbation.

  • The item and structure of current detector depends on the current in conductors. The Hall current detector of these detectors is to use the variation of Hall voltage to conductor's current and it is very difficult for the conventional type to detect small current. In this paper we study experimented-method that detect AC current by using the magnetic modulation method the current, 0[mA]~100[mA]. The experiments results in 5 percent against the conventional, 20 percent in linear error, 0.12[.DELTA.mV/.DELTA.mA] to conventional type, 50[.DELTA.mV/.DELTA.mA] in sensitivity. An Exponential Smoothing Adaptive Failure Detector in the Dual Model of Heartbeat and Interaction

  • In this paper, we propose a new implementation of a failure detector. The implementation uses a dual model of heartbeat and interaction. First, the heartbeat model is adopted to shorten the detection time, if the detection process does not receive the heartbeat message in the expected time. The interaction model is then used to check the process further. The expected time is calculated using the exponential smoothing method. Exponential smoothing can be used to estimate the next arrival time not only in the random data, but also in the data of linear trends. It is proven that the new detector in the paper can eventually be a perfect detector.

  • 연속적으로 흐르는 시료의 검출을 위한 양극펄스형 전기전도성 검출기를 개발하였다. 개발한 전기전도성 검출기는 동작이 매우 빠를 뿐더러 직렬 혹은 병렬축전 방해효과가 없으므로 사용이 쉽다. 개발한 양극펄스형 전기전도성 검출기의 성능을 $10^1{\sim}10^8$저항을 가진 가상 셀들을 사용하여 시험한 결과 0.01% 상대편차를 보이는 직선성 응답을 얻을 수 있었다. 개발한 전기 전도성 검출기의 장단점과 여러 가능한 응용들에 대해서도 검토하였다.

Progressive Edge-Growth Algorithm for Low-Density MIMO Codes

  • In low-density parity-check (LDPC) coded multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, probabilistic information are exchanged between an LDPC decoder and a MIMO detector. TheMIMO detector has to calculate probabilistic values for each bit which can be very complex. In [1], the authors presented a class of linear block codes named low-density MIMO codes (LDMC) which can reduce the complexity of MIMO detector. However, this code only supports the outer-iterations between the MIMO detector and decoder, but does not support the inner-iterations inside the LDPC decoder. In this paper, a new approach to construct LDMC codes is introduced. The new LDMC codes can be encoded efficiently at the transmitter side and support both of the inner-iterations and outer-iterations at the receiver side. Furthermore they can achieve the design rates and perform very well over MIMO channels.

Search for Dark Photon in e+e- → A'A' Using Future Collider Experiments

  • The Standard Model (SM) does not provide an information for 26% of dark matter of the universe. In the dark sector, dark matter is supposed to be linked with the hypothetical particles called dark photons that have similar role to photons in electromagnetic interaction in the SM. Besides astronomical observation, there are studies to find dark matter candidates using accelerators. In this paper, we searched for dark photons using future electron-positron colliders, including Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC)/CEPC, Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee)/Innovative Detector for Electron-positron Accelerator (IDEA), and International Linear Collider (ILC)/International Large Detector (ILD). Using the parameterized response of the detector simulation of Delphes, we studied the sensitivity of a double dark photon mode at each accelerator/detector. The signal mode is double dark photon decay channel, e+e- → A'A', where A' (dark photon with spin 1) decaying into a muon pair. We used MadGraph5 to generate Monte Carlo (MC) events by means of a Simplified Model. We found the dark photon mass at which the cross-sections were the highest for each accelerator to obtain the maximum number of events. In this paper we show the expected number of dark photon signal events and the detector efficiency of each accelerator. The results of this study can facilitate in the dark photon search by future electron-positron accelerators.

  • Passive sonar system forms the various beams in any desired directions to obtain the improvement in Signal-to-Noise(S/N) ratio, bearing detection and localization of targets, and the attenuation of interferences from other directions. Detection of modern underwater targets is becoming increasingly difficult as noise reduction technology leads to considerably low-level acoustic emissions. Therefore, the improvement of beamforming is very important to detect modern underwater targets at the long range in the complex environmental sea. Also, to react to the fast attack mobiles such as torpedoes, port and starboard discrimination is required to be performed very quickly. In this paper, we proposed the implementation of omnidirectional target bearing detector without port and starboard ambiguity to detect effectively the low-level underwater targets. The port and starboard discrimination is performed by cardioid processing and the improvement of beamforming utilizes the cross correlation matrix of individual hydrophone pairs of linear array sensors. The sea test result shows that the system implemented is good for the detection of the low-level underwater targets.

  • 본 논문은 비선형 소자 탐지기용 다중 공진 원편파 안테나의 설계를 제안한 것이다. 광대역으로 설계하기 위해, CPW 급전 방법이 고려되었다. 원편파를 구현하기 위해, 축비는 방사 소자에 $45^{\circ}$ 기울어진 슬롯과 방사 패치 가장자리의 커팅 크기에 의해 제어되었다. 관심 대역인 2.4~2.44 GHz, 4.84~4.92 GHz, 7.28~7.36 GHz에서 측정된 반사 손실, 대역폭, 축비, 편파 패턴과 이득은 시뮬레이션 값과 잘 일치하였다

비선형 소자 탐지용 광대역 스파이럴 안테나의 설계 (Design of Broadband Spiral Antenna for Non-Linear Junction Detector)

  • 본 논문은 비선형 소자 탐지기용 광대역 스파이럴 안테나의 설계를 제안한 것이다. 방사면 위의 스파이럴 소자뿐만 아니라 방사면 중심부에 위치한 방사 소자인 타원형 패치가 스파이럴 안테나의 광대역화를 위하여 설계되었다. 또한, 그라운드면 위에 스파이럴 슬릿을 삽입함으로써 다중 공진을 일으키는 안테나 그라운드 구조가 제안되었다. 제안된 안테나의 높은 지향성과 고이득을 실현하기 위해, Fr4-epoxy로 만든 캐비티 벽과 금속캡이 설계에 고려되었다. 그 결과, 금속 캡을 가진 안테나의 계산된 이득은 금속 캡이 없는 안테나의 이득과 비교하여 약 3 dBi 개선되었으며, -z축 방향으로의 측정된 주 빔 지향성도 계산 결과와 잘 일치하였다. 설계 주파수 대역에서 측정된 축비도 -z축을 기준으로 ${\pm}45^{\circ}$의 범위에서 원편파를 만족하였으며, 예상과 잘 일치하였다.
