This paper aims to clarify the spatial form and functional characteries of traditional market place in Seomjin river. The objects of this study are Gokseong, Gurye, Soonchang, and Okgok market place. The results are as follows. First, the form of the traditional market that it was open focusing on large open space of a village was maintained until now. Second, the spatial form of a market place surrounds market-shop located at the center of a market, and a permanent market-store is located in a line. Spatial element important for constituting a market place is three, market-shop, stall, and the mall of market place, and each spatial element is functioning in linkage. The unit space of market-shop is mainly determined by between pillars, and a store is opened. And the same type of industry adjoins, and market-shop's forms a fixed domain and is distributed. The stall is located with many kinds and forms at street mall, and it is taking charge of the important function of trade.

This article analyzes the effects of regulation that restrict the conglomerate firms to participate in the public procurement of software. The regulation was implemented in 2013, and this article analyzes five years of firm performance before and after 2013 through DID (difference-in-difference method). In particular, this article analyzes how restrictions on conglomerate firms' participation in public software procurement affect middle and small firms performance. As a result, small-size firms achieve relatively positive results in private sector revenues compared to mid-size firms. However, there was no significant difference between the mid-size and small-size firms in profit margin. This study implies that the new policy is needed to improve the small and medium-size firms revenues on the private market by leveraging the public procurement market which restricted the conglomerate firms to participate. This can be done by complementing the regulation in line with servitization paradigm.

In this paper, we suggest a quantitative management scheme to accomplish effective weapon systems test and evaluation service(T&E). The Capability Maturity Model Integration(CMMI) process model has been introduced and applied for that purpose by the 8th directorate, Agency for Defense Development(ADD). Although a CMMI process model was developed focusing on the software development, systematic approaching scheme in the CMMI process model can be utilized for the quantitative management implementation of a weapon systems T&E service. To manage a T&E service quantitatively, at first, organizational performance objectives and sub processes are established, and then each performance indicators and performance base lines are followed.

This study analyzes the factor demand structure of sweet persimmon as a part of finding out cost cutting measures. Income and cost data from 2001~2013 Agricultural Income Survey are used for placing the translog cost function and estimating price elasticies and cross elasticities of labor, capital and intermediate input. The result shows that own price elasticities of all factors are small in absolute terms. Additionally the result indicates capital and intermediate input cannot be a substitution for labor, which is a top-line cost-share. It means that the demand for labor cconstitutionally can't be reduced in a short time. This implies that cost reduction should be done focusing on intermediate input, particularly on fertilizer and materials which have higher price elasticity of demand.

Demands for electricity are growing, whereas the rate of electricity infrastructure's construction declines gradually. To keep the balance of the demand and supply, the share of underground transmission line will be increased from 8.3% to 10.5% in 2020 but it will be accompanied with enormous public expenses. A great concern in high capacity transmission is on the increase so as to maximize the spacial efficiency. High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) cable is in the lime light which has the merits of environment-friendly, low transmission loss and high transmission with low voltage, but the reliability verification as a power system is yet to be solved. KEPCO completed the installation and acceptance of $3{\phi}$, 22.9kV, 1250A class HTS cable system in 2006 and the long term test is in progress. The test results focusing on long term reliability are presented in this paper.

Performance management of computer networks is intended to improve a given network performance in order for more efficient information exchange between subsystems of an integrated large-scale system. Improtance of performance management is growing as many function of the large- scale system depend on the quality of communication services provided by the network. The role of performance management is to manipulate the adjustable protocol parameters on line so that the network can adapt itself to a dynamic environment. This can be divided into two subtasks : performance evaluation to find how changes in protocol parameters affect the network performance and decision making to detemine the magnitude and direction of parameter adjustment. This paper is the second part of the two papers focusing on conceptual design, development, and evaluation of performance management for token bus networks. This paper specifically deals with the task of decision making which utilizes the principles of stochastic optimization and learning automata. The developed algorithm can adjuxt four timer settings of a token bus protocol based on the result of performance evaluation. The overall performance management has been evaluated for its efficacy on a network testbed.

The purpose of this study is to find out various types of stripes pattern and to review its' design expression by analysing stripe pattern and visual effect appeared in western women's fashion after 20th centuries. As regards the visual effect of stripe pattern, on the basis of the stripe pattern's direction laid out, we made an investigation of it by classfying it into verticality, horizontality, slant line and mixture of them according to its' gap and thickness. Here are the 4 features of the stripe pattern appeared in modern fashions. The first, graphic variation based on diverse variation and reconstruction and combination between other motives is being onthe rise as a new expression. The second, colorful stripes of Missoni can be exanpled as the trend of diversification of color. The third, as regards the trend of mismatch in pattern, coordination through mismatch can produce experimental and post-modern image. The fourth, as for the expression of draping effect, we find that stripe pattern can maximaze visual effect through draping by inducing visual stimulus, as well as can express human body in a beautiful manner.

To accomplish the above goal of this study, I have taken the statistics about wearing behavior and design preference for Saenghwal Hanbok. This is surveyed by 354 women having jobs 20-50years old-in Daegu. The result of the study is summarized as follows. People prefer to put on Saenghwal Hanbok same as the Korea Traditional Dress in the traditional holidays and the active style that they can dress as casual clothes having the Korea Traditional Dress's characteristics as well. Form a viewpoint of appearance, people prefer Jugori have a bit spare width, the length comes near to the waist line, the type of Korean Traditional Dress's sleeve, and the round type that is linked body and sleeve in waist section and length is between knee and the calf of leg.

Correlation between community structure of herbivore and succession of macro-algal flora was examined in subtidal area of Dang-Sa Province, eastern coast of Korea from April 2008 to December 2009. For examination, the authors hypothesized that there are significant correlation between the foregoing two variables. Samplings were conducted every two months quantitatively with SCUBA diving at -3, -6 and -10 depth in the two line transects (barren and forest grounds). As results, rhodophyts was predominated in the algal flora based on the number of species and biomass; molluscs was predominated in the herbivores based on the number of species and echinoderms was predominated in that based on the biomass. There was no significant correlation between the foregoing two variables in the whole survey area and barren/forest grounds. Consequently, the hypothesis was rejected. The authors proposed that examination of correlation between the foregoing two variables should focus on the specific herbivore group(s) (e.g., amphipods) afterward.

This article aims to introduce German discussion on the approval of the non-invasive prenatal diagnosis (NIPD), which started with the development of PrenaTest^® by LifeCodexx AG. The discussion started with the concern that the non-invasive nature of NIPD, such as PrenaTest^®, may rapidly expand the use and scope of similar tests, thus leading to a new era of eugenics. Based on this concern, the need for clear clinical guidelines on specific indications for NIPD has been suggested. Along the same line, it was discussed whether PrenaTest^® is against the Basic Law prohibiting discrimination on grounds of disability and whether the test is outside the scope of the purpose of gene testing limited by Genetic Diagnosis Act. Through such discussion, the Federal Ministry of Health of Germany established the preconditions for inclusion of NIPD in the German public health insurance system. For this, the German motherhood guideline was amended and the information for the insured persons provided to pregnant women was included in the amended guideline. Such discussion made in Germany provides insight on which points should be considered when various gene testings are accepted in Korea, in which genetic communication has not been systematized yet. In particular, German counseling system for pregnant women will provide valuable insights for Korea where the direction for regulations on abortion has not been established even after the ruling by the Constitutional Court that charges for abortion are against the constitution.
