  • Pyrethroids are one of the most commonly used insecticides in worldwide. but it remains unclear whether pyrethroid compounds possess endocrine disrupting activity or not. T47D cells, an estrogen receptor positive human breast cancer cell line. is known to induce alkaline phosphatase (AlkP) only in response to progestins. Because the action of estrogen may be changed by the action of progestins (Kraus et al. 1995), it is important to examine the potential to produce progestin-mediated effects for determining endocrine disrupting activity of chemicals(LiLorenzo et al. 1991).   • This paper presents a design of the fuzzy decision maker which infers set value for fuel rate in the rotary kiln of making CaO. The fuzzy decision maker proposed are divided into two groups whose functions are different each other. The one operates when production demand is constant. The other deals with the status of varying production demand. We have chosen several variables used for composing condition and action part by investigating ingerent features of the rotary kiln and skilled operators`manual method of inferring fuel rate. Membership function of each variable was designed by analyzing experimental data and field data collected during two months. On-line operation with fuzzy rules suggested was done safely like human operators' action.

Fully Adaptive Feedforward Feedback Synchronized Tracking Control for Stewart Platform Systems

  • In this paper, a fully adaptive feedforward feedback synchronized tracking control approach is developed for precision tracking control of 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) Stewart Platform. The proposed controller is designed in decentralized form for implementation simplicity. Interconnections among different subsystems and gravity effect are eliminated by the feedforward control action. Feedback control action guarantees the stability of the system. The gains of the proposed controller can be updated on line without requiring any prior knowledge of Stewart Platform manipulator. Thus the control approach is claimed to be fully adaptive. By employing cross-coupling error technology, the proposed approach can guarantee both of position error and synchronization error converge to zero asymptotically. Because the actuators work in synchronous manner, the tracking performances are improved. The corresponding stability analysis is also presented in this paper. Finally, simulation is demonstrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

A Study on Intelligent Railway Level Crossing System for Accident Prevention

  • Accidents at level crossing have large portion on train accidents, and causes economical loss by train delay and operational interruption. Various safety equipments are employed to reduce the accident at level crossing, but existing warning device, and crossing barrier are simple train-oriented protection equipments. In this paper, intelligent railway level crossing system is proposed to prevent and reduce accidents. For train driver's prompt action, image of level crossing and obstacle warning message are continuously provided to train driver through wireless communication in level crossing control zone. Obstacle warning messages, which are extracted by computer vision processing of captured image at level crossing, are recognized by train driver through message color, flickering and warning sound. It helps train driver to decide how to take an action. Meanwhile, for vehicle driver's attention, location and speed of approaching train are given to roadside equipments. We identified the effect of proposed system through test installation at Sea train and Airport level crossing of Yeong-dong line.

  • In this paper, a unified regenerative inverter and control algorithm are proposed in order to perform regenerative action and active power filter action. While the regenerative mode of traction, it works as regenerative inverter to reduce a excessive power of DC bus line and the powering mode of the traction, it works as active power filter to compensate ac current distortion, power factor, and voltage unbalance. In the paper, a regeneration inverter used PWM DC/AC inverter algorithm. And an active power filter used p-q theory. We are carrying out a mode analysis of DC traction system similar to actual system with MG-set and experimenting with prototype model. Through the simulation and experiment, we were proving the regeneration inverter operation which suggested in this paper.

  • The practical studies on the method of particle contamination control for yield enhancement in the cleanroom were carried out. The method of the contamination control was proposed, which are composed of data collection, data analysis, improvement action, verification, and implement control. The partition check method for data collection and data analysis was used in the cellular phone module production lines. And this method was evaluated by the variation of yield loss between before and after improvement action. In case that the partition check method was applied, the critical process step was selected and yield loss reduction through improvement actions was observed. From these results, it is concluded that the partition check method is effective solution for particle contamination control in the cleanroom production lines.

자탈형 콤바인 탈곡부 설계요인(設計要因)의 적정화(適正化)를 위한 연구(I) -급동축(扱胴軸) 토오크 파형의 추정(推定)- (Optimizing the design factors of the head-fed type combine(I) -Estimation of the threshing drum torque curve-)

  • The threshing action of the head-fed type threshing unit occurs mainly by the impact between threshing tooth and grains. It may be therefore the most fundamental step to calculate the time and order of the occurrance of impact by the tooth for predicting the performance of threshing unit. The threshing teeth arrangement was defined by length and diameter of threshing dram, number of spiral arrays, number of threshing teeth by kind per one spiral array, number of windings of spiral array around the threshing drum, delay angle of impact line. The linear equations for locus of left and right margin of paddy bundle, spiral array, impact line on the development figure of the threshing drum were expressed by fastors of the threshing teeth arrangement. In the computer program, the teeth which inflict impact were searched successively along the impact line. Searching range and impact condition were defined by the relation between four linear equations. If the impacting tooth was found, time and the kind of threshing tooth was derived from the coordinate of the threshing tooth. At this time the unit torque curve was accumulated on the array of computer memory. At last the completed torque curve of threshing drum shaft was described on the computer screen. Remarkably the peack valae and fluctuation of torque curve was decreased by adopting the delay angle of impact line.

  • shopbot이란 온라인상의 판매자로부터 상품에 대한 가격과 품질에 관한 정보를 자동적으로 수집함으로써 소비자의 만족을 최대화하는 소프트웨어 에이전트이다 이러한 shopbot에 대응해서 인터넷상의 판매자들은 그들에게 최대의 이익을 가져다 줄 수 있는 에이전트인 pricebot을 필요로 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 pricebot의 가격결정 알고리즘으로 비 모델 강화 학습(model-free reinforcement learning) 방법중의 하나인 Q-학습(Q-learning)을 사용한다. Q-학습된 에이전트는 근시안적인 최적(myopically optimal 또는 myoptimal) 가격 결정 전략을 사용하는 에이전트에 비해 이익을 증가시키고 주기적 가격 전쟁(cyclic price war)을 감소시킬 수 있다. Q-학습 과정 중 Q-학습의 수렴을 위해 일련의 상태-행동(state-action)을 선택하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 선택을 위해 균일 임의 선택방법 (Uniform Random Selection, URS)이 사용될 경우 최적 값의 수렴을 위해서 Q-테이블을 접근하는 회수가 크게 증가한다. 따라서 URS는 실 세계 환경에서의 범용적인 온라인 학습에는 부적절하다. 이와 같은 현상은 URS가 최적의 정책에 대한 이용(exploitation)의 불확실성을 반영하기 때문에 발생하게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 보조 마르코프 프로세스(auxiliary Markov process)와 원형 마르코프 프로세스(original Markov process)로 구성되는 혼합 비정적 정책 (Mixed Nonstationary Policy, MNP)을 제안한다. MNP가 적용된 Q-학습 에이전트는 original controlled process의 실행 시에 Q-학습에 의해 결정되는 stationary greedy 정책을 사용하여 학습함으로써 auxiliary Markov process와 original controlled process에 의해 평가 측정된 최적 정책에 대해 1의 확률로 exploitation이 이루어질 수 있도록 하여, URS에서 발생하는 최적 정책을 위한 exploitation의 불확실성의 문제를 해결하게 된다. 다양한 실험 결과 본 논문에서 제한한 방식이 URS 보다 평균적으로 약 2.6배 빠르게 최적 Q-값에 수렴하여 MNP가 적용된 Q-학습 에이전트가 범용적인 온라인 Q-학습이 가능함을 보였다.

실시간 환경에서 긴급한 정도의 계산을 통한 자율적인 에이전트의 유연한 의사결정 (Flexible Decision-Making for Autonomous Agent Through Computation of Urgency in Time-Critical Domains)

  • 자율적인 에이전트들은 이성적인 의사결정을 위하여 상당한 양의 계산자원을 필요로 하며, 실시간 환경에서 항상 최적의 행동을 수행하는 완벽하게 이성적인 에이전트(rational agent)의 구현은 실질적으로 가능하지 않다. 이러한 실시간 문제 해결기법에서의 전통적인 접근 방식은 미리 정의된 규약에 의존한 조건-행동 추론 방식이다. 조건-행동 추론 방식은 주어진 상황에 빠르게 반응하지만, 문제 영역이 다양하거나 문제의 재설계가 필요한 경우에는 아무런 해법을 갖지 못한다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 주어진 행동들의 유틸리티를 실시간에 계산하고, 긴급한 정도(urgency)를 측정하여 상황이 긴급할 경우에는 더 이상의 계산을 중단하고 즉각적인 행동을 취하며, 반면에 상황이 긴급하지 않을 경우에는 최선의 의사결정을 위하여 추가적인 정보를 고려하여 더 바람직한 행동을 결정하는 방법론을 제안한다. 제안한 방법론의 평가를 위하여 시간 제약적인 환경에서 최선의 의사결정을 수행하는 실질적이며 유연한 에이전트를 구현하고자 한다.

오버롤(Overall)형 방진복의 패턴설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pattern for the Clean Room Garment of the Overall Type)

  • This study was to design the clean room garment which fits for a body and adjusts well to the action. We examined the body's changes in action through a body measurment and made a sample of the clean room garment to which had adapted the body's changes in action and evaluated the function and the appearance compared with the existing the clean room garment. The followings were summery of the results : 1. Back intersyce breadth decreased, trunk length increased and the other parts were not change. At a posture of raising hands($M_3$) in comparison with an upright posture($M_0$). Back intersyce breadth, hip length and knee length increased and the other parts were a little change. At a bowing posture($M_2$) in comparison with an upright posture($M_0$). Back hip girth, knee length, hip length and leg length increased and the other parts were not change. At a working posture on a chair($M_1$) in comparison with an upright posture($M_0$). 2. The overall clean room garment was made increasing on the changes of part of a body through measuring and body measurement. 3. From the test of the function, it became known that the devised clean room garment was superior to the existing one in the parts of neck, shoulder, armpit and elbow at a working posture on a chair($M_1$), in the parts of neck, shoulder, and armpit at a bowing posture($M_2$), and the armpit at a posture of raising hands($M_3$). The appearance was better on the whole. 4. From the examination of photographs, the waist line of the devised clean room garment was not so much pulled up as that of the existing one on moving. And when sitting down on a chair, the waist line of the existing one was pulled down while that of the devised one had no change. As above, we investigated the actual conditions of wearing the clean room garment and measured the body's changes according the various actions. So we applied these results to the devised clean room garment but we couldn't research the clean mom effect of it owing to not obtaining the measuring instrument. The aspect of ergonomics liked the feeling of wearing and fitted to the action must be given consideration to the clean room garment, and simultaneously the dust-resistant effect must be taken into consideration in order to improve the quality of the goods. Therefore, we think it should be continued the research on the dust-resistant effect, material, washing method, quality control, and size along with the aspect of ergonomics.
