Power Line Simulator Development for Communication Channel (통신 채널로써 전력선 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • We have developed a power line simulator which is one of the basic tools for the research of the power line communication and its control system. In the developed simulators, we have considered the transfer function of the power line, noises and signal attenuation characteristics. Simulator was made using the matlab tool program. We made the power line modern using the FSK chip(ST7537) and experimentalized to show the efficiency grade of simulator. We have expected that the developed simulators are very useful in the area for the power line communication research and the control system design.

  • An Experimental study of cleaning solution has been performed on a high capacity steam boiler burning heavy fuel oil to on-line cleaning of deposit. The deposit is mixture of soot, slag, ash, metal oxide and clinker. The traditional technology of deposit cleaning was carried hand-crafted. The conventional technology of boiler cleaning method is mechanical removal by the worker while the boiler shut down operation. In this experiment, the deposit of mixture of soot, slag, ash, metal oxide and clinker has been removed by the cleaning agents without shut down of boiler burning. This study found out the optimum cleaning solution composition. The best results have been obtained when the mixture of ammonium nitrate and $MgNO_3$ were used in cleaning solution. The various transition metal effect was investigated for optimum mixing condition. In this research, the metal compound additive of the clean solution compoition was obtained. The combustion efficiency was improved by on-line cleaning with derived clean solution compoition. On-line cleaning method prevents the fouling and corrosion in the boiler and heat exchanger.

  • It is an essential subject to decrease the mass of a launch vehicle for improving performance and efficiency of space launch system. Particularly, reducing the engine supporting area is necessary for high efficiency of propulsion system with clustered engine systems. The engine supporting area is related to the branch location of the oxidizer feeding line. This article deals the performance variation of the propulsion system such as the mass of the oxidizer feeding line, pressurization pressure of the oxidizer tank, and the onset of nucleation boiling in the oxidizer pipe with the branch location of the main feeding line.

Performance Characteristics of In-Line Duct Fan Having Mixed Flow Impellers (혼류임펠러를 갖는 관류형팬의 성능특성)

  • The performance of in-line duct fan depends on the design parameters of impeller and guide vane such as sweep back angle of impeller hub, guide vane angle etc. In this study four kinds of impellers having different sweep back angles, $0^{\circ}$, $17.5^{\circ}$, $35^{\circ}$, $52.5^{\circ}$ with 8 guide vanes, and different guide vane angles, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$ were selected and their performance measured to investigate the effects of design parameters. The results show that both sweep back angle of impeller hub and the guide vane angle have large effect on the efficiency. Especially, it was found that the mixed flow impellers having sweep back angle between $17.5^{\circ}$ and $35^{\circ}$ gave good performances for in-line duct fan.

  • What may be a problem, however, is determining the application to electronic methods of the various rules which the courts have developed for dealing with the consequence of different methods of communicating offers and acceptances. However, it was doubtful that in the law electronic documents may make part of the traditional documents based on paper. The purpose of this thesis, thus is to examine the effectiveness of electronic methods as a means of forming contracts and the some legal problems. Accordingly, The thesis is basically divided into two part. Part one considers a contract for trade is made how, when and where through compare with traditional contracts law and electronic methods. Part two considers and explores the efficiency on the formation of electronic contracts for the sale of goods by On-line.

  • This paper presents the self-matched line pulse generator and the concerned principles on its operation and characteristics are mentioned. The circuit consists of a charged transmission line and a high speed switch, and it generates a square wave pulse with the very fast rise time. The generated waveform depends on the load resistance. As the load resistance is infinite, a single rectangular wave pulse is generated and its efficiency is nearly unity.

  • A single-stage power factor correction AC/DC converter with a simple link voltage suppressing circuit (LVSC) for the universal line application is proposed. Using this simple circuit a low link voltage can be realized without deadbands at line zero-crossings. The proposed converter is analyzed and a prototype converter with 5C, 12V output is implemented to verify the performance. The experimental results show that the link voltage stress and efficiency are about 447V and 81%, respectively.

  • This paper presents an approximate analysis of the serial production lines using decomposition technique. A serial production line consists of a series of unreliable machines separated by finite buffers. The serial production line is evaluated by approximation method, the results of which are compared with those examined by the discrete time event simulation, based on this approximation method, a gradient technique is proposed, which improves the efficiency of an operation of production line through the re-allocation of buffers.

  • A new communication system is suggested using a single-phase full-bridge inverter with high efficiency ferrite core for power line communication (PLC). The conventional system has a decreasing signal voltage problem due to internal resistance. The proposed system has almost zero internal impedance and replaces a linear amplifier.
