표준전동차 제동장치에 대한 내구도 평가(I) (Durability evaluation for Korea type EMU's braking system)

  • This paper describes the result of endurance test of the brake system of the Korean EMU on the Sangju test track. The purpose of the test is to prove the endurance of brake system. Test conditions are more severe than actual operation on the commercial line. As of October, test result is good without severe problems. 100,000km of test operation will be continued by the end of this year to check the endurance of the brake system.

  • As jumpers for overhead transmission lines increase In size, it Is necessary to take into the characteristics of jumper swaying space in order to determine jumper reinforcements adequately. From the theory of a structure made of beams, formulas for the sideway swaying of overhead transmission lines due to wind are modeled. And also natural frequency of the vibrated jumper is estimated to check the system resonance. The theoretical results can be led good suggestions to improve the economy and reliability of jumper structure.

  • Four Gyrophaena Mannerheim species-Gyrophaena harmandi Fauvel, G. lewisiana Cameron, G. puncticeps Bernhauer and G. rousi $Dvo\check{r}\acute{a}k$-are reported for the first time in Korea. Redescriptions, habitus illustrations, and line drawings of diagnostic characters are provided.

  • This study will analyze the data of Kyongbu & Honam Line whether how much the weather change has an effect on the change of transportation modes and check the pattern of customer's behavior and investigate the influence on the changing transportation modes. Especially, this study will confine to the rainfall and snowfall out of various weather causes, and the questionnaire investigation is used to know the sensitivity of customer's patterns selecting transportation modes in accordance with weather change, and the research result will be used to make a marketing strategy & efficient train operation.

  • This paper presents the development of 2-dimensional discrete element algorithm to generate circle and line elements for the simulation of the ballast and sleeper in railway. An example of randomly distributed circle elements show a good applicability of this algorithm for the modeling of the behaviors of ballast. The output about unbalaned force, particle velocity, and total energy conservation from the code is evaluated to check if the calculation is conducted properly.

  • In order to check the electric field distribution of polymer line post insulator, we performed electric field simulation according to state of water drops. Sea water is used to the contaminant. Electric field analysis is performed with change of contact angle, number and distance of water drops.

  • In the previous sections, simple linear regression (SLR) 1 and 2, we developed a SLR model and evaluated its predictability. To obtain the best fitted line the intercept and slope were calculated by using the least square method. Predictability of the model was assessed by the proportion of the explained variability among the total variation of the response variable. In this session, we will discuss four basic assumptions of regression models for justification of the estimated regression model and residual analysis to check them.

  • We present Herschel Space Observatory far-IR observations of the supernova remnant(SNR) G21.5-0.9. We search PACS-IFU data for 63um [O I], 88um [O III], 157um [C II] emission lines and detect the [O II] and the [C II]. We then produce emission line maps to check the spatial distribution of the elements. We compare the maps to Radio, IR-photometrics, and X-ray images in order to understand interaction of the ejecta with the Pulsar Wind Nebula(PWN) and physical environment in the SNR.

  • Safety is soaring up as a core value in accordance with the recent improvement of operating speed & incidents. rolling stock is a kind of system which works together with several components. one component has an effect on the sub-system, which can cause to the train safety operation, therefore reliability management of the major components of rolling stock is a kind of solution to the safety operation of train, but realistically maintenance in korea performed based on period rather than TBO of major components, but Japan does new maintenance system based on the major components, which optimizes maintenance tasks. actually Japan can apply to new maintenance system because they are ready in planning step but in this study, making a reliability data of major components and review the adaptability of new maintenance system to the rolling stock operating in Ansan line.

고속으로 운행하는 고속철도의 소음 방사특성 연구 (A Study on Noise Propagation Properties of Hi-Speed Train)

  • The railway system in Korea is developing more and more rapidly. After development the next generation hi-speed train(HEMU-400X), Korea can compete against developed country. But, speed increasing will cause the greater rolling and aero dynamic noise. In this study shows that measurement noise of the KTX train by 300kn/h class, and KTX-Sancheon train by 350km/h class. The measurements are carried out on open area and noise protection barrier installed area. The microphones were placed at a distance of 3m from the center line of the track at a height of 0.5m above the upper surface of the rail and at a distance of 7.5m from the center line of the track at a height of each 0.6m above(Max 3.6m) the upper surface of the rail. One microphone was placed at a distance of 25m for check the environmental noise.
