영상 재표본화에 의한 Autofocusing 속도 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Autofocusing Using Image Resampling Method)

  • A faster autofocusing method is proposed. The searching speed of microscope camera is limited by the long focusing time due to too much sampled digital image data. The improvement of autofocusing speed based on the down sampling is discussed analytically and is proved by experiments. The anticipated aliasing is found negligible in shilling rate of focus measure.

  • For non-contact structure vibration displacement measurement system, an algorithm for image processing using high speed CCD camera is introduced. The system sets the target to the structure, take picture using camera and image processing is performed to display the vibration data. The algorithm flow is basic preprocessing, projection data generation and curve fitting to find three crossing points for calibration or one center point in limited area.

Montgomery 모듈라 곱셈을 변형한 고속 멱승 (Fast exponentiation with modifed montgonmery modular multiplication)

  • We modify the montgomery modeular multikplication to extract the common parts in common-multiplicand multi-plications. Since the modified method computes the common parts in two modular multiplications once rather than twice, it can speed up the exponentiations and reduce the amount of storage tables in m-ary or windowexponentiation. It can be also applied to an exponentiation mehod by folding the exponent in half. This method is well-suited to the memory limited environments such as IC card due to its speed and requirement of small memory.

  • Iso-octane, n-heptane and their blends were tested in a constant volume combustion chamber to measure laminar flame speeds. The experimental apparatus was automatically controlled to enhance the accuracy and data acquisition speed. A large database of laminar flame speeds at elevated temperatures and pressures was established. From this database, laminar flame speeds of iso-octane, n-heptane and their blends were investigated and analysed to derive new correlation to predict laminar flame speeds at any blending ratio. The new flame speed model was successfully applied to these fuels with limited range of errors.

  • In this paper, a new simple and efficient technique to improve the convergence speed of LMS algorithm is proposed in an interference-limited multi-path fading environment as encountered in indoor wireless communications. The convergence characteristics of the proposed algorithm, whose coefficients are multiply adapted in a symbol time period by recycling the received data, are analyzed to prove theoretically the improvement of convergence speed. The theoretical analysis shows that the data-recycling in technique can increase convergence speed by (B+1) times without increasing the computational complexity substantially where B is the number of recycled data. The results of the computer simulation demonstrate that the simulation results are in accordance with the theoretical analysis and the superiority of the filter algorithm.

  • The freight wagon with weld fabricated 1-piece bogies, which was developed to increase operating speed, reveals its difficulties in maintenance. The weld-fabricated bogies were composed of two-stage coil spring and dry friction damping mechanism. The inborn wear parts and rather complicated structure mattes bogie maintenance difficult. In order to relieve this difficulties, the application of maintenance free rubber suspension is proposed by bogie maunfacturer, Taeyang Precision Limited. This study was conducted to determine design parameters of proposed rubber suspension by means of vehicle dynamic simulation and parametric study. The target critical speed of bogie was set over 150km/h for the preparation of further speed-up of freight wagon.

  • An improved approximate formula is presented for Series 60 forms, modifying the approximate formula, developed by the Author in 1983. The weather formula is based on interpretations of detailed calculations of speed loss, due to wind(van Berlekom), motions(Maruo), and wave reflection resistance(Kwon). Comparison is made between the result of the approximate formula and the one of detailed calculation. The result of the formula is also compared with some published full-scale data for speed loss.

  • Safety of railroad is result of reliability which is received from test & evaluation of system. Railroad system is consisted of various sub system such as vehicle, supply of electric power, signal, communication, rail track construction, operation. To secure safety of railroad, evaluation about parts, assembly, sub system, whole system etc.. that compose railroad is essential. In this paper, I wish to describe for results that analyze korean tilting vehicle's derailment coefficient developed by national research achievement. Result that evaluation korean tilting vehicle's running safety, verified that secure even if speed-up 30 km/h than operating speed of present in curved track.
