여성들의 해양스포츠 참여제약 요인에 따른 협상전략 및 참여의사에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Limitation Factor in Women's Marine Sports on Negotiation Strategy and Participation Decision)

  • 이 연구는 여성들의 해양스포츠 참여제약요인이 협상전략 및 참여의사에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2009년 서울 경기지역에 거주하는 20대이상의 여성을 모집단으로 선정한 후 집락무선표집법(cluster random sampling)을 이용하여 총 278명을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 2009년 7월 1일부터 7월 30일 까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 spss 15.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성들의 해양스포츠 참여제약요인은 협상전략에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여성들의 해양스포츠 참여제약요인은 참여의사에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 여성의 해양스포츠 참여 협상전략은 참여의사에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

산업계 배출수에서 포름알데히드의 배출허용기준 설정방안 고찰 (A Study on the Determination of Formaldehyde Effluent Limitation in the Industrial Wastewater)

  • This study looked at how to establish effluent limitation standards for formaldehyde, a toxic chemical widely used in industries. To this end, we reviewed Water Quality Based Effluent Limitation (WQBEL), Technology Based Effluent Limitation (TBEL), and water quality criteria for protection of human health and aquatic organism. Based on the results, we estimated formaldehyde effluent limitation standards appropriate to control water quality of industrial wastewater in Korea. However, this study has limits due to the lack of some data necessary in estimating formaldehyde effluent limitation. For example, although water quality criteria based on non-carcinogenic properties of formaldehyde were calculated, those based on carcinogenic properties were not be able to estimate because of the absence of applicable cancer potency factor q1. Without applicable factor, we calculated water quality standards for formaldehyde based on water quality criteria of advanced countries including the United States, while with no water quality standard we referred to applicable drinking water quality standards of other countries. For eco-toxicity based on water quality criteria, proper figures could not be calculated since there have been few reliable data.

결혼이주여성의 문화적응유형과 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enculturation Type and Life's Satisfaction among Marriage Immigrant Women)

  • 본 연구는 결혼이주여성에 대한 문화적응 유형을 파악하고, 이 유형들의 삶의 만족도에 대한 영향을 확인하기 위한 실증적 연구다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 통해 문화적응유형을 동화 요인, 변화 요인, 주변화 요인, 분리 요인 등으로 구분하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 광주광역시에 거주하는 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 통계프로그램을 활용해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 문화적응유형들 중 통합 요인, 동화 요인 등이 결혼이주여성들의 삶의 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 그리고 분리 요인은 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 결혼이주여성들이 우리나라에 잘 적응하면서 살아갈 수 있도록 결혼이주여성의 본국 가족, 친구 등과의 교류장치 개발, 또한 한국 사람들과 어울릴 기회 확대, 한국 사람들의 친근한 처우와 교류 촉진 등이 필요하다. 또한 한국에서의 거시적 정부정책도 동화주의 정책 보다는 다문화주의를 지향할 필요도 있다. 본 연구는 표본의 지역적 한계, 삶의 만족도에 대한 영향 변수의 한계, 횡단적 연구로의 한계 등으로 앞으로는 더 폭넓고 깊은 연구가 필요하다.

혈액투석 환자의 우울 예측 요인 (Factors Predicting Depression in Hemodialysis Patients)

  • Purpose: This study was done to provide fundamental data for developing a depression prediction model by discovering main factors that affect depression in patients who do maintenance hemodialysis. Method: The subjects were 191 patients doing maintenance hemodialysis selected from outpatient dialysis clinics at 9 major general hospitals, The Instrument tools utilized in this study were adapted from depression, fatigue, sleep disturbance, stress, adaptation, symptoms, daily activities, and role limitation and thoroughly modified to verify reliability and validity. The collected data was analyzed with a SPSS-PC 11.0 Window Statistics Program for real numbers, percentage, average, standard deviation, and multiple regression. Results: The correlation factor for depression was (M=2.54) fatigue(M=3.12), sleep disturbance (M=2.82), stress(M=3.04), adaptation(M=2.53), daily activities(M=2.24), symptoms(M=2.37), and role limitation(M=2.24). The strongest factor that affected depression was explained by symptoms of the patients who performed hemodialysis. The analysis of the factors that affected depression revealed a $58.4\%$ prediction in symptoms, stress, role limitation, and adaptation. Conclusion: It has been confirmed that the regression equation model(Depression=7.351 + .266$^{\ast}$symptoms + .260$^{\ast}$stress -.l89$^{\ast}$adaptation + .057$^{\ast}$fatigue) of this research may serve as a prediction factor for depression in Hemodialysis Patients.

결합적 요인분석 연구방법 (Combination of Research Methods for Factor Analysis)

  • 요인분석은 실증분석을 위한 사전 연구 분석 방법으로 많이 활용하고 있다. 따라서 요인분석은 매우 중요한 연구 방법의 하나이다. 또한 요인분석에 대한 연구자의 욕구도 높아서 요인분석 결과가 제공하지 못하는 정보를 요구하기도 한다. 이를 요인분석의 한계점으로 인식하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 연구 방법론을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 통계적 방법을 통하여 연구되는 사회과학 분야의 요인분석에 대한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 방법론을 결합적 연구방법론이라고 하였으며, 기존의 통계분석 방식인 요인분석, AHP분석, 확산이론, 그리고 인과관계를 설명할 수 있는 시스템다이내믹스를 결합한 것이다.

Dynamics of alpine treelines: positive feedbacks and global, regional and local controls

  • Whilst it is clear that increasing temperatures from global environmental change will impact the positions of alpine treelines, it is likely that a range of regional and local scaled factors will mediate the overall impact of global scale climate drivers. We summarized 12 categories of abiotic and biotic factors as 4 groups determining treeline positions. First, there are global factors related to climate-induced growth limitation and carbon limitation. Second, there are seven regional and local factors related to treeline dynamics including frost stress, topography, water stress, snow, wind, fire and non-fire disturbance. Third, species-specific factors can control treeline dynamics through their influence on reproduction and life history traits. Fourth, there are positive feedbacks in structuring the dynamics of treelines. Globally, the commonly accepted growth limitation hypothesis is that growth at a treeline is limited by temperature. Meanwhile, positive feedbacks between canopy cover and tree establishment are likely to control the spatial pattern and temporal dynamics of many treelines. The presence of non-linear dynamics at treelines has implications for the use of treelines as barometers of climate change because the lagged responses and abrupt shifts inherent in non-equilibrium systems may combine to mask the overall climate trend.

디지털 PID 제어기의 제한 요소 영향 분석(II):유한 단어 길이 문 (Analysis of Limitation Factor Effects on Digital PID Controller(II) : Finite Wordlength Issue)

  • This paper deals with the finite wordlength effect on the performance of digital PID controllers. The finite wordlength, one of the major limitation factors in digital controllers, results on two kinds of quantization error : the signal quantization error and the coefficient quantization error. This paper derives the variance of the plant output due to the signal quantization error. Using stability margins as performance criterion, the statistical wordlength concept is adopted for coefficient wordlength selection. Finally, the experimental results exhibit satisfactory performance of the digital PID controller with statistical coefficient wordlength.

  • A three-level inverter is widely used thanks to its excellent performances, but the voltage may fluctuate at the neutral point of the split DC-Link. Neutral point voltage fluctuations cause inverter performance degradation and switching element damage, so the neutral point voltage control is essential. However, the neutral point control can be also limited by modulation index and power factor. This paper analyzes the limitation of the neutral point voltage control due to the limitation of zero-sequence voltage, and suggests a method to determine the region where the PWM has to be changed for a better neutral point control.

동계 광양만에서 식물플랑크톤 군집구조의 수평적 분포특성과 성장에 미치는 영양염 제한 특성 (Characteristics of Horizontal Community Distribution and Nutrient Limitation on Growth Rate of Phytoplankton during a Winter in Gwangyang Bay, Korea)

  • To estimate the effects of limitation nutrients for phytoplankton growth and its influences on short-term variations of a winter phytoplankton community structure, we investigated the abiotic and biotic factors of surface and bottom waters at 20 stations of inner and offshore areas from 6 to 7 February in Gwangyang Bay, Korea. Also, several algal bio-assay studies were conducted to identify any additional nutrient effects on phytoplankton assemblage using surface water for the assay. The dominant species in the bay was diatom Skeletonema costatum, which occupied more than 70% of total species in most stations (St.1-16) of the inner bay. According to a cluster and multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis based on phytoplankton community data from each station, the bay was divided into three groups. The first group included stations from the south-western parts of Myodo lsland, which can be characterized as a semien-closed eutrophic area with high phytoplankton abundance. The second group included most stations from the north-eastern part of Myodo lsland, influenced indirectly by surface water currents from offshore of the bay. The standing phytoplankton crops were lower than those of the first group. The other cluster was restricted to samples collected from offshore of the bay. In the bay, silicon (Si) and phosphorus (P) were not a major limiting factor for phytoplankton production. However, since the DIN: DIP and DSi: DIN ratios clearly demonstrated that there were potential stoichiometric N limitations, nitrogen (N) was considered as a limiting factor. Based on the algal bio-assay, in vivo fluorescence values in N (+) added experiments were higher compared to control and P added experiments. Our results suggested that nitrogen may act as one of the most important factors in controlling primary production during winter in Gwangyang Bay.

LOF를 이용한 ICA 기반 통계적 공정관리의 성능 개선 방법론 (The Use of Local Outlier Factor(LOF) for Improving Performance of Independent Component Analysis(ICA) based Statistical Process Control(SPC))

  • Process monitoring has been emphasized for the monitoring of complex system such as chemical processing industries to achieve the efficiency enhancement, quality management, safety improvement. Recently, ICA (Independent Component Analysis) based MSPC (Multivariate Statistical Process Control) was widely used in process monitoring approaches. Moreover, DICA (Dynamic ICA) has been introduced to consider the system dynamics. However, the existing approaches show the limitation that their performances are strongly dependent on the statistical distributions of control variables. To improve the limitation, we propose a novel approach for process monitoring by integrating DICA and LOF (Local Outlier Factor). In this paper, we aim to improve the fault detection rate with the proposed method. LOF detects local outliers by using density of surrounding space so that its performance is regardless of data distribution. Therefore, the proposed method not only can consider the system dynamics but can also assure robust performance regardless of the statistical distributions of control variables. Comparison experiments were conducted on the widely used benchmark dataset, Tennessee Eastman process (TE process), and showed the improved performance than existing approaches.
