  • The emerging ubiquitous environment is improving IT technologies and the popularization of broadband Internet is encouraging creation and sharing of various contents. The contents include the concept of production and circulation of digital information/contents, in forms of characters, codes, voices, sounds, client and videos for being used on the Internet and networks. The contents are widely shared in networks and users can have a wide range of knowledge and gain the freedom of presentation from them. So now users participations are augmented gradually. However, many contents without acquiring agree of copyright are sharing on the Internet, so many problems happen in the manufacturing process of digital contents. To solve this problem, many research projects to limit contents utilization onto legitimate users and to provide secure contents protection and download, are in progress. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a secure D-CAS system (SDCS) which provides security for contents downloading.

Content Recommendation System Using User Context-aware based Knowledge Filtering in Smart Environments (스마트 환경에서의 사용자 상황인지 기반 지식 필터링을 이용한 콘텐츠 추천 시스템)

  • There are many and various devices like sensors, displays, smart phone, etc. in smart environment. And contents can be provided by using these devices. Vast amounts of contents are provided to users, but in most environments, there are no regard for user or some simple elements like location and time are regarded. So there's a limit to provide meaningful contents to users. In this paper, I suggest the contents recommendation system that can recommend contents to users by reasoning context of users, devices and contents. The contents recommendation system suggested in this paper recommend the contents by calculating the user preferences using the situation reasoned with the contextual data acquired from various devices and the user profile received from the user directly. To organize this process, the method on how to model ontology with domain knowledge and how to design and develop the contents recommendation system are discussed in this paper. And an application of the contents recommendation system in Centum City, Busan is introduced. Then, the evaluation methods how the contents recommendation system is evaluated are explained. The evaluation result shows that the mean absolute error is 0.8730, which shows the excellent performance of the proposed contents recommendation system.

  • More and richer information sources and services are available on the web everyday. However, harmful information, such as adult content, is not appropriate for all users, notably children. Since internet is a worldwide open network, it has a limit to regulate users providing harmful contents through each countrie's national laws or systems. Additionally it is not a desirable way of developing a certain system-specific classification technology for harmful contents, because internet users can contact with them in diverse ways, for example, porn sites, harmful spams, or peer-to-peer networks, etc. Therefore, it is being emphasized to research and develop context-based core technologies for classifying harmful contents. In this paper, we propose an efficient text filter for blocking harmful texts of web documents using context-based technologies and examine which algorithms for feature selection, the process that select content terms, as features, can be useful for text categorization in all content term occurs in documents, are suitable for classifying harmful contents through implementation and experiment.

Comparative Studies on Physical and Mechanical Properties of Domestic Wood-Based Panels (국산목질판상재료(國産木質板狀材料)의 물리적(物理的) 및 기술적성질(機械的性質)에 관(關)한 비교연구(比較硏究))

  • This study was performed to determine the characteristics of physical and mechanical properties of domestic wood based materials; plywood, particleboard, medium density fiberboard. Main items of tested properties were panel size, moisture content, water absorption, linear expansion and thickness swelling, glue bond shear strength, bending properties(stress at proportional limit, modulus of rupture. modulus of elasticity), tensile strength, screw holding strength, and internal bond as neccessary. the results were discussed mainly with Korean Standards. The obtained conclusions are as follows; 1. Length and width of 3mm thin plywood(3-ply) and 12mm thick plywood(7-ply) were satished with KS-standard, but thicknesses of these panels were not- passed tolerance limit except one of eight makers. 2. Length and width of particleboard and medium density fiberboard were greater than the tolerance limit value of KS standard, but the thicknesses of these panels were passed this value. 3. Moisture contents of 12mm thick and 3mm thin plywood were satisfied with KS-standard except one mill made 3mm thin plywood. 4. Moisture absortion of plywood was not passed tolerance limit of KS-standard but particleboard was satisfied with this standard value. 5. Dry and wet shear strengths in glue bond of 3mm thin plywood were not reached to KS-standard, but those of 12mm thick plywood were sufficiently satisfied with KS standrad. 6. Modulus of ruptures, parallel to grain and perpendicular to grain of plywood, and particleboard and medium density fiberboard were satisfied with KS-standard. 7. Tensile strengths, parallel to grain and perpendicular to grain of plywood were satisfied with allowance stress of US product standard PS 1-74. 8. Screw holding strength of particleboard was not reached to KS standard, but internal bond was satisfied with KS standard.

A Study on the Utilization of Coal Ash as Construction Materials ln Forcus on the Environmental Analysis (석탄재의 건설재료로서의 활용에 관한 연구-환경적 특성 검토를 중심으로)

  • Although lots of experimental studies of coal ash have been performed to study the utilization as construction materials, the environmental characteristics of coal ash are still qestionable. In this study, fly ash is examined to be classified according to Korean Environmental Standard and analized whether the batch test results are within the toler trance limit when utilized or treated as reclamation and earth work materials. The batch tests was performed to examine pH and contaminant contents. Consequently, fly ash is classified as non hazardous industrial waste. The pH value shows a strong alkalinity than the tolerance limit, but it is implied that fly ash can be used to neutralize the acid ground. All other items except pH satisfy the tolerance limit, In addition, a small quantity of additives(cement) which used to improve the poor geotechnical properties of coal ash, could decrease the pH value into the tolerance limit as well as improve strengtIL durability and permeability. It is concluded that when coal ash is used properly, there is no enviormental harmfulness as construction materials.

A Study on the Aflatoxin B1 Contents in Domestic and Import Foods (수입식품 및 국내식품중의 아플라톡신 함유량 조사연구)

  • This Study was performed to investigate the contents of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ in cereal, pulse, nuts and these products of domestic and import. These results were as follows. 1. Average concentration(in ${\mu}g/kg$) of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ in domestic foods were 2.6 in cereal, 3.9 in pulse, 4.2 in nuts and 1.4 grain products. The contents of aflatoxin B$_{1}$ in pulse and nuts were much higher than those of cereal and grain products. But their values were still within $10{\mu}g/kg$ the maximum residual level of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ for food of Korea. 2. Average contents of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ in import foods were 4.8, 5.4, 6.0, $3.8{\mu}g/kg$ for cereal pulse , nuts and popcorn & peanuts butter, respectively. And these values were found to be below the maximum residual level ($10{\mu}g/kg$) of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ for food of Korea. 3. The concentration of aflatoxin $B_{1}$ in 2 samples of domestic and 9 samples of import foods were over the tolerance limit for aflatoxin $B_{1}$ in food of Korea. Therefore, the hygienic managements of the foods should be required during storage and circulation at market.

  • This study investigates the worlds most favorite SNS, the Facebook, with the theory of Empathy, that there will be an effect to users due to their characteristics. We approach the data scientifically with using an Eye tracker, by analyzing the vision and attention of users of Facebook with stimuli of whether it's an image or text filled contents in newsfeed of Facebook. With the result of an eye tracker, we cross analyzed with General Empathy Scale to compare that users limit of feeling of empathy gave effect on contents of Facebook. Discussion and implications are discussed in terms of empathy.

  • The various kinds of contents have been developed with the explosive increase of the internet users. The advantage of the contents could be extended to the extension of education. For the reason of no limit on space, on-line education such as cyber lecture and cyber university is getting popular. On-line education, however, could be faced to the problem of the management for attendance, homework and the exam. Therefore the proper supervision is requested so that students may get all the information for the calendar of test and other program which are necessary for the lesson. This study is to propose the system of education by mobile which is able to promote the efficiency of the study for the on-line education. The information of the lesson for cyber lecture could be accessed regardless the place and time by using the mobile phone which is usually carried.

  • In this paper, we will discuss planning and production of VR contents for effective racing drone steering training. In the real world, direct racing drone training training is obviously a space and economic limit. We propose through the production of VR-based drone infiltration action game as a solution to these limitations and try to improve effective drone handling ability. Especially, we designed the virtual reality contents in a similar environment by using the similarity of FPV goggles and HMD based VR, and designed virtual drones, maps and obstacles considering the characteristics of the structures used in racing drone and drone racing. Also, we tried to increase the user's immersion and presence by increasing difficulty level of obstacles.

  • The number of broadcasting channels and contents are increasing with the arrival of digital broadcast and various broadcasting medium. However, there is a limit on searching of the program by using conventional program guide. Therefore, personalized broadcasting service to provide the environment, that user is able to consume his/her customized broadcasting contents at anytime, is standardized by TV-Anytime Forum. Especially. the structure of data broadcasting contents have different from that of AV contents. Therefore, it is necessary to new structure of the metadata for personalized data broadcasting service and new mechanism for data flow of broadcasting system. In this paper, we introduce a method for personalized data broadcasting service using TV-Anytime metadata.
