상수도용 유리섬유복합관의 구조적 거동특성 및 안전성 평가 (Characteristics of Structural Behavior and Safety Estimation of Water Supply GFRP Pipe)

  • 이 논문에서는 강수도관에 사용되는 GFRP관의 구조적 거동에 대한 실험적, 이론적 연구의 결과를 제시하였으며, 관의 단면은 두개의 CFRP층과 그 층 사이의 폴리머 모르타르 층으로 구성되어 있다. GFRP는 경량성, 부식저항성, 관의 내부 표면조도 향상, 유연성 등이 뛰어나기 때문에 강수 계통의 관으로써 시용이 계속적으로 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 그러므로 더욱 최적화된 구조설계법이 개발되어야 한다. 이 연구에서 CFRF관의 하중-원주방향변위에 대한 특성을 이론적, 해석적으로 조사 하였으며 추가적으로 원강성시험을 하였다. 시험결과를 이론적, 해석적 연구결과와 비교하였으며, 원주방향의 변위가 5% 이내에서는 결과들이 서로 잘 일치하였다. 결과적으로 상수도 계통에 사용되는 CFRP관은 업계의 요구조건을 충분히 만족함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 인공신경망을 이용하여 배관이나 배관요소의 작동상태를 예측할 수 있는 진단방법을 제안한다. 입자영상유속계 기술을 이용하여 얻어진 배관의 검사부위의 진동에 의한 이동량을 인공신경망의 학습용으로 사용한다. 측정시스템은 카메라, 조명, 인공신경망이 탑재된 호스트컴퓨터로 구성된다. 구축된 모니터링시스템이 제대로 작동하는지 이미 알고 있는 진동원(2개의 휴대폰)에 대하여 적용하였다. 진동가속도의 최소값, 최대값, 평균값을 인공신경망의 학습에 사용해 본 결과, 평균값이 진동상태의 실시간 모니터링에 적합함을 확인하였다. 구축된 진단시스템은 실제 가스배관의 작동상태에 대하여 모니터링 가능함이 확인되었다.

  • Throughout history, daylight has been a primary source of lighting in buildings, supplemented originally with burned fuels and more recently with electrical energy. Before daylight was supplemented or replaced with electric light in the late 19th-century, consideration of good daylight strategies was essential. As we entered the mid-20th-century, electric light supplanted daylight in buildings in many cases. Fortunately, during the last quarter of the 20th-century and early years of this century, architects and designers have recognized the importance and value of introducing natural light into buildings. There are many simple strategies that can enhance daylighting and reduce the need for electric lights. Good quality daylight is always welcome, but remember that the electric lights must be dimmed or shut off in order for daylighting to save energy. We designed and built mirror systems and vertical daylighting devices to improve daylight condition of office buildings in bad condition because urban density is getting higher. This case study aims to analysis the principles and characteristics of mirror systems and vertical daylighting devices and selected the method that can improve constructability. The results of this study are going to use the back data to set-up the design standards. Hereafter we're going to progress the performance test and product the design manual to improve applicability of daylighting systems at design phase.

신경회로망을 이용한 고주파 전기 저항 용접 파이프의 비드 형상 분류 (A Bead Shape Classification Method using Neural Network in High Frequency Electric Resistance Welding)

  • Bead shape in high frequency electric resistance (HER) pipe welding gives useful information on judging current welding conditon. In most welding process, heat input is controlled by skilled operators observing color and shape of bead. In this paper, a visual monitoring system is designed to observe bead shape in HERW pipe welding process by using structured light beam and a C.I.D(Charge injection device) camera. To avoid some difficul- ties arising in extracting stable features of stripe pattern and classifying the extracted features, Kohonen neural network is used to classify such bead shapes. The experimental results show accurate classification performance of the proposed method.

인라인 주입방식의 최초응집이 케이크 저항에 미치는 영향 (Effect of cake resistance by first-aggregation of in-line injection system)

  • Cake resistance is influenced by floc size deposited on membrane surface. Enlarging floc size can reduce cake resistance. The small particles are enlarged by coagulation and flocculation process in conventional mixing tank at membrane filtration system. Fully-grown flocs for reducing the cake resistance, however, are ruptured while passing through a pump. In light of this fact, this study aims to experimentally look at the reaggregation phenomenon of mixing system. In addition, reaggregation phenomenon of mixing system is compared with first-aggregation of in-line injection system in which coagulant is injected just before a pump. These results suggest that first-aggregation of in-line injection system is better than reaggregation of mixing system for G-value above $3100sec^{-1}$. Since G-value in pipe of actual membrane filtration system are usually larger than $3100sec^{-1}$. The performance of in-line injection system is expected to be better than the conventional mixing tank system.

지하공동구 화재예방활동 및 진압대책에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fire Prevention Activities and Suppression Measures of Utility-Pipe Conduit)

  • 지하공동구는 도시 및 공동주택 단지에 반드시 필요한 전력, 통신, 가스, 송유관, 급 배수, 에너지시설 등을 효과적으로 수용하고 도시기반시설의 확장에 따라 파생되는 여러 가지의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 시설물을 한곳으로 모아 유지 및 관리하는 시설이다. 지하공동구가 훼손될 경우 국가안보는 물론 사회전반에 미치는 파장이 지대하므로 화재예방 활동 및 진압대 책상 취약점 등을 분석하여 우리 실정에 맞는 방재 대책을 도출하여 공동구의 설계, 제도적인 문제, 방화시설의 문제, 화재확산현상 등을 분석하여 종합적인 화재위험을 분석하여 화재예방활동과 진압대책을 수립하여야 한다. 지하공동구는 밀폐 폐쇄된 공간이므로 산소공급 부족으로 인한 불완전 연소 등으로 농연, 일산화탄소 등 유독성연소생성물의 발생과 열기의 충만 및 시야장해로 진입이 곤란 하는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 현상은 지상화재보다는 지하 화재의 특수성에 비추어 볼 때 화재예방활동은 물론이고 소방전술에서 취약하므로 화재의 효율적인 소방전술이 되기 위해서는 화재의 특이성을 감안하여 유관기관에서는 현장대응 지휘체제를 확립하고, 대응기관에서는 평상시 공동구에 대한 구조파악과 필요한 각종 정보를 수집 기록하고 24시간 관리공조체제 유지 및 대응기관에서 가상종합훈련을 강화하여야하며 근본적으로 공동구내에 설치되어 있는 케이블의 난연화 불연화 및 연소 확대 방지를 위한 대책 등이 필요하다.

  • Study of Lunar exploration is progressed and manned lunar exploration is planned. In order to explore in Lunar, we need habitat to stay for a long time and system that mine, classify and transport materials. Lunar has dust that is very light-tiny. That is on the air for a long time so there are problems to adject transportation system such as vehicle. However, it can solve the problem to use pipe transportation system. This transportation system help materials move continually and is more effective than other transportation system such as train or vehicle. For those positive points, some experts studied about tube transportation systems. I introduce these system and find out factors that can be used in Lunar regolith transportation system. I suggest Lunar regolith transportation system, using the factors.

가솔린 송유관에서의 수액적 거동 특성 (Characteristics of Water Droplets in Gasoline Pipe Flow)

  • Liquid fossil fuel contaminated by water can cause trouble in the combustion processes and affect the endurance of a combustion system. Using an optical sensor to monitor the water content instantaneously in a fuel pipeline is an effective means of controlling the fuel quality in a combustion system. In two component liquid flows of oil and water, the flow pattern and characteristics of water droplets are changed with various flow conditions. Additionally, the light scattering of the optical sensor measuring the water content is also dependent on the flow patterns and droplet characteristics. Therefore, it is important to investigate the detailed behavior of water droplets in the pipeline of the fuel transportation system. In this study, the flow patterns and characteristics of water droplets in the turbulent pipe flow of two component liquids of gasoline and water were investigated using optical measurements. The dispersion of water droplets in the gasoline flow was visualized, and the size and velocity distributions of water droplets were simultaneously measured by the phase Doppler technique. The Reynolds number of the gasoline pipe flow varied in the range of $4{\times}10^{4}\;to\;1{\times}10^{3}$, and the water content varied in the range of 50 ppm to 300 ppm. The water droplets were spherical and dispersed homogeneously in all variables of this experiment. The velocity of water droplets was not dependent on the droplet size and the mean velocity of droplets was equal to that of the gasoline flow. The mean diameter of water droplets decreased and the number density increased with the Reynolds number of the gasoline flow.

  • Present, the cooling method of using a phase-change heat transfer such as immersed type, heat pipe etc is applied in cooling of high-capacity power semiconductors of the main power system for the high speed train with the concentrated traction. In order to apply these phase-change cooling system to the high speed EMU to be developed, needed are technological researches of consideration of installing space, air passage, light weight material and miniaturization. Although this research establishes design specifications through theoretical analysis and computational analysis from the basic design process of the cooling system of the propulsion system for the high-speed EMU, when details design is completed, present improvement subject and optimum design before manufacturing the prototype of the cooling system on the basis of analysis results. And then, carried out will be the performance tests through prototype manufacture and reliability estimation by components of cooling system.
