마우스와 터치스크린을 이용한 전자펜 에뮬레이터구현에 대한 연구 (A Study on Light Pen Emulator Implementation using Mouse and Touch Screen)

  • 본 논문에서는 산업용 컴퓨터에서 사용할 마우스와 터치스크린을 이용한 전자펜 에뮬레이터 구현에 대하여 연구하였다. 산업용 제어 현장에서 사용되는 제어용 컴퓨터 전자펜 방식의 입력장치를 주로 사용하지만, 현재의 컴퓨터 주변장치를 직접 사용할 수 없는 경우가 대부분이다. 본 논문에서는 PC에서 사용하는 다양한 주변장치를 현재 구입 가능한 주변기기로서 그 기능을 대신하도록 구성하여, 생산 공정에서 사용하는 산업용 컴퓨터의 활용도를 높이고자 한다. 전자펜 에뮬레이터는 USB HOST, CPLD 그리고 MCU로 구성하였으며, USB 방식의 마우스와 터치스크린으로부터 입력된 신호를 해석한 후, 화면 좌표를 계산하여 전자펜 신호로 출력하였다. 설계 제작된 전자펜 에뮬레이터는 마우스, 디지타이져, 터치스크린 등 다양한 장치들을 산업용컴퓨터에서 사용이 가능함을 보였다.

Effects of Package Materials on Quality Change of Pine Bud Beverage Under Ultraviolet Light

  • The effects of packaging materials on preserving the functional component of pine bud beverage stored under UV (ultraviolet) light exposure conditions were studied. The order of UV light blocking properties of the selected packages was: opaque can> opaque PET (polyethylene terepthalate) with green lamination=transparent PET with 10% PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) blending> transparent PET, and did not depend on film thickness in specified range. At 20${^{\circ}C}$, the order of preserving degree of original color and endobornyl acetate, which is quality index of pine bud beverage, was the same as above. Exposure to UV light can cause of deterioration of functional food components, but green color lamination and blending of PEN materials with transparent PET help to preserve the UV sensitive pine bud beverage components. However, the treated PET bottles have poorer preservation capabilities than the opaque cans. Transparent PET with PEN blending, in particular, will be very useful packaging material for colorful functional beverage preservation by helping to protect the ingredients while attracting consumer attention.

한국(韓國)의 미곡변질(米穀變質)의 유형(類型)과 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)에 대(對)하여(제2보)(第二報) (Types of Deterioration of Storage Rice in Korea and Identification of the Causitive Microorganisms (II))

  • 전국(全國)에 걸쳐 수집한 62개(個)의 변질미(變質米) 시료(試料)를 외관상(外觀上)의 변색(變色)으로 그 유형(類型)을 구별(區別)하고 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)을 분리(分離) 조사(調査)하여 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 1. 62개(個)의 변질미(蠻質米)는 그 변색(變色)의 외관(外講)으로 황적색(黃赤色) 적황적색(赤黃赤色), 담적색(淡赤色), 적회색(赤灰色), 농회색(濃灰色) 및 바구미(米)의 7개유형(個類型)으로 분류(分類)하였다. 2. 62개(個)의 시료(試料)에서 곰장이류 5속(屬) 44종(種), 효모류(酵母類) 1속(屬) 1종(種), 세균류(細菌類) 4속(屬) 14종(種)을 분리(分離)하였다. 3. 분리(分離)된 총균군중(總菌群中) 72.4%는 곰팡이류(類)이었으며 27.6%가 세균류(細菌類)이었다. 곰팡이 유중(類中)에는 Asp. glaucus군(群)이 38%, Asp. candidus가 14%, Asp. oryzae가 12%, Asp. versicolor가 8%로 거의 대부분이며 기타의 Aspergillus, Penicillum, Rhizopus, Scopulariopsis 그리고 Trichoderma등(等)이 있었으며 세균류중(細菌類中)에 는87%가 Bacillus이었으며 Pseudomonas가 10%, 기타 Baveiacterium과 Staphylococus등(等) 분리(分離)되었다. 4. 변색(變色)과 균군(菌群)의 관계(關係)는 절대적(絶對的)은 아니지만 황적색(黃赤色)에서는 Pen. islandicum, 담황적색(淡養赤色)에서는 Asp. candidus, Asp. clavatus, 담적색(淡赤色)에서는 Asp. glaucus, Asp. candidus, Asp. versicolor, Asp. fumigatus등(等)이, 담회황색(淡灰黃色)에는 Asp. oryzae, 담회색(淡灰色)과 농회색(濃灰色)에서는 Asp. glaucus 및 Pencillium종류(種類)가 주(主)로 분리(分離)되었다. 5. 유독성(有毒性) 물질생성균(物質生成菌)은 Asp. glaucus, Pen. islandicum, Pen. citrinum, Asp. flavus, Asp. ochraceus등(等)이 있으나 그 출현빈도(出現頻度)는 중요(重要)한 것이 아니었다. 그러나 Pen. islandicum은 높은 생육밀도를 보여서 문제(問題)가 될 수 있겠다.

Spherulitic Morphologies of Poly(ethylene terephthalate), Poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate), and Their Blend

  • The supermolecular structures of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET), poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) (PEN), and their blend were investigated with optical microscopy and small angle light scattering. With increasing the crystallization temperature, incomplete spherulitic texture was developed for the PET samples. At a high crystallization temperature of 220 $^{\circ}C$, the light scattering pattern represented a random collection of uncorrelated lamellae. The general morphological appearances for the PEN samples were similar to that of the PET. A notable feature was that the spherulites of the PEN formed at 200 $^{\circ}C$ showed regular concentric bands arising from a regular twist in the radiating lamellae. The spherulitic morphology of the PET/PEN blend was largely influenced by the changes of the sequence distribution in polymer chains determined by the level of transesterifcation. The increased sequential irregularity in the polymer chains via transesterification caused a morphological transition from a regular folded crystallite to a tilted lamellar crystallite.

The classification of ballpoint pen inks in Questioned Documents by using VSC and SERRS

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the evidential value of blue and black ballpoint pens on paper by nondestructive techniques. In this work, 21 blue and 22 black ballpoint pens which were purchased on different brands were analyzed by Raman Spectroscopy and Video Spectral Comparator (VSC). Surface-Enhanced Resonance Raman Spectroscopy (SERRS) with excitation at 685 nm and VSC with several spot light filters were used for the discrimination of ballpoint pen inks. In the SERR spectra, the ballpoint pen inks on paper could be shown sharp spectral bands and distinguished by their band shapes and relative intensities. In the blue and black ballpoint pen inks, the discriminating powers (DP) by SERRS were 0.85 and 0.67 and the DP by VSC were 0.88 and 0.90, respectively. The DP by combined sequence of techniques was all 0.97 in both black and blue ballpoint pen inks.

눈의 광피로회복시간 검사를 위한 도구의 탐색 (Investigation of Instrument for Photostress Recovery Time Test in the Eye)

  • 목적: 눈의 광피로회복시간(photostress recovery time; PSRT) 검사를 위해 직상검안경을 대체할 수 있는 도구를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 방법: 단안 최대교정시력이 0.8~1.2인 남녀 48명(평균연령 22.88세, 96안)을 대상으로 직상검안경, 투광기, 펜라이트, 카메라 플래쉬를 사용하여 PSRT 검사를 실시하였다. 결과: 직상검안경, 투광기, 펜라이트, 카메라 플래쉬로 측정된 평균 PSRT는 각각 $27.90{\pm}18.40$초, $23.73{\pm}12.99$초, $21.31{\pm}15.57$초, $18.98{\pm}11.64$초로 측정되었다. 두 눈 중 교정시력이 1.0 이상인 눈과 1.0 미만인 눈 간의 PSRT 차이는 없었다. 우위안과 비우위안 간의 PSRT 차이도 없었다. 결론: 투광기가 직상검안경과 가장 유사한 도구로 나타났으나, 카메라 플래쉬와 펜라이트도 PSRT 검사에 유용한 것으로 판단되었다.

텐서 기반 스트로크 생성에 의한 펜화기법 (A Pen Drawing Method by Tensor-based Strokes Generation)

  • We present a non-photo realistic pen-ink drawing method for outlining and shading of the input image. Especially, we focus on the detailed illustration of the image of which stroke's direction is important. The pen-ink renderer is an alternative display models user can generate traditional illustration renderings of their photo realistic image. The previously proposed pen drawing methods produce feasible description in general image but it is difficult to express in detail for the sophisticated images that need to consider the direction of stroke for each image region. In order to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional method, a direction vector is extracted from a tensor field and we determine a stroke's direction in consideration of not only an edge area but also a gradient of a surrounding area in the image. For more detailed description for the sophisticated image, we generate white noises based on the light and shade of the input image and determine the direction and length of the stroke by using the tensor field for each generated white noise. The proposed method works particularly well for traditional architectural images where the direction and detailed description of the pen is important.

Water vapor barrier properties of polymer-like amorphous carbon deposited polyethylene naphthalate film

  • Polymer-like amorphous carbon films were deposited on polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) substrate by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) and their water vapor transmission rates (WVTR) were tested. propane was used as precursors. To make a polymer-like amorphous carbon film the deposition rate, surface roughness, light transmittance, and WVTR of the films were characterized as a function of the precursor feed ratio and plasma power. The water vapor transmission rates of bare PEN film and single layer PAC on PEN substrate were 6.95 g/m2/day and 0.3 g/m2/day, respectively. The superior property the water vapor permeability of thin layers of PAC was attributed to uniform coverage and good adhesion between PAC film and PEN substrate.

광원을 내장한 펜의 출력광과 광 도파로의 광 결합을 이용하는 터치 패널 장치의 내부 광 결합 구조 설계 (Design of Internal Coupling Structure for Touch Panel Devices Using Optical Coupling of a Pen-Shaped Light Source with Optical Waveguides)

  • 본 연구에서는 광원을 내장하고 있는 포인팅 펜(pointing pen)의 출력광과 광 도파로 배열 사이의 광 결합을 이용하여 펜의 접촉여부와 접촉 위치를 검출하는 광학식 터치 패널 장치를 제안한다. 펜의 출력광과 광 도파로 배열 간의 광 결합을 최대화하고, 동시에 특정 광 도파로로 결합된 광속이 적은 손실로 전파할 수 있도록 하기 위해 광 도파로의 교차점 마다 부가적인 피라미드 구조를 삽입하였다. 광 도파로 단면의 크기가 $50{\times}50{\mu}m^2$인 경우 광선 추적법을 통해 결정된 피라미드의 최적 구조는 밑변의 폭, 높이, 경사각이 각각 $50{\mu}m$, $22.5{\mu}m$, $42^{\circ}$이었다. 이때 광 결합 효율은 97.8%이었으며, 전파손실은 평균적으로 0.3 dB/mm이었다. 그리고 펜의 기울어짐에 대한 허용 각도는 ${\pm}12^{\circ}$임을 확인하였다.

대출업무 자동화를 위한 시스팀설계에 관한 연구 (System Analysis for the Automated Circulation)

  • Accepting the necessity for maintaining the objectives of the existing circulation system, the computer-based system could be designed by the system analyst and librarians to gain a variety of improvements in the maintenance, accessibility of circulation records and more meaningful statistical records. If the terminal can be operated on-line, then this circulation data is transmitted directly to the computer, where it may update to the circulation file immediately or alternatively be kept in direct access file for updating in batch mode. on-line system in the circulation operations is "data-collection system" and "Bar-coded label system" Bar-coded label system is simple, quick, and error-free input of data. Attached to CRT terminal is a "light pen" which is hand held and will read a bar-coded label as the pen is passed over the labels (one affixed to the book itself, other carried on the borrower cards). Instantaneously the data concerning transaction is stored in the central mini-computer. It is useful, economical for us to co-operate many libraries in Korea and design borrower's ID code, book no., classification code in the Bar-coded label system by the members of the computer center and the library staff at every stage. As for book loan, the borrowers ID code, book number and classification code are scanned by the bar-code scanner or light pen and the computer decides whether to loan and store the data. The visual display unit shows the present status of a borrowers borrowing and decides whether borrower can borrow.
