The finite failure nonhomogeneous Poisson process models presented and the life distribution applied exponential and log shaped type hazard function. Software error detection techniques known in advance, but influencing factors for considering the errors found automatically and learning factors, by prior experience, to find precisely the error factor setting up the testing manager are presented comparing the problem. As a result, the learning factor is greater than autonomous errors-detected factor that is generally efficient model could be confirmed. • In this paper we describe the design and implementation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment(EGSE) for the CBS transponder testing. The main task of EGSE is to check out satellite systems, at system or subsystem level, during integration and validation phases of their life-cycle. Through a combination of hardware and software elements, EGSE supports manual, semi-automatic and fully automated testing. Automation is achieved by offering users simple, yet powerful means to write their own test application programs (test sequences) in high-level, test-oriented language and to run them in a strict real-time environment. The core of this environment is a user-configurable real-time database, containing all the information needed to calibrate acquired data, check them against predefined thresholds, automatically react to out-of-range conditions, display data using animated graphics or synoptic windows, and so on.

  • As to display products are made slim, the diameter of aluminum electrolytic capacitor is smaller and the length is longer to be fitted in. These small diameter and long length are pointed as the disadvantageous design factors of the capacitor's life cycle. So, the most electronic makers want to use proven capacitors (or well-known) to secure reliability of the electric products. In this study, we carried out the comparison analysis with two domestic capacitors and one foreign made capacitor. We designated separators, rubber breather and debris as the main factors that effect on the lifetime of capacitors. From the comparison results, we suggested the improvement points of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor.

  • In this paper, we propose a test method to evaluate the reliability of the recliner sofa in the early stage of production. In order to develop the test method, we analyzed the failure mechanism occurring in the field and designed the performance test, environmental test, accelerated life test methods based on the analysis of failure mechanism. The failure mechanism is reproduced by applying the designed test. The reliability of the recliner sofa can be verified at the production stage through the proposed test method.

  • The Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) has been certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and commenced Safety-of-Life (SoL) service at the end of 2023. KASS complies with the APV-I signal-in-space performance requirements defined in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommendation Practices (SARPs). The performance of KASS is verified through two steps. In the first step, design conformity from the aspect of performance is verified by both review and analysis of design and simulation. In the second step, operational conformity is tested and assessed by operational testing using real data and a deployed system with operational SWs and configurations. This paper presents a methodology, a procedure and results for the KASS operational testing. Finally, performance degradation events and results by month and region during the operational testing are presented and analyzed.

  • This paper identifies these data by the data diagnosis in lognormal distribution and presents the method to obtain exact parameter estimates and confidence intervals of regression line. The life-stress relationship uses Arrhenius model and life data generate Class-H insulation complete data by simulation. Also, the method to estimate parameters uses least squares estimation and externally Studentized residuals can be used as test statistics for identifing outliers. And influential cases are identified by Cook's distance. This research is intended to obtain the useful information for the life of products and test method, to save time and costs, and to help optimum accelerated life test plans.

  • Accelerated life test models and procedures are developed to assess the reliability of typical power relays. The main function of relays is to control high voltage circuits by operating low voltage circuits. The accelerated life test method and test equipments are developed using the relationship between stresses and life characteristics of the products. Using the developed accelerated life test method, the parameters of the ALT model and lifetime distribution are estimated and the reliability of the relays at use condition is assessed. The proposed accelerated life test method and procedure may be extended and applied to testing similar kinds of products to reduce test time and costs of the tests remarkably.

  • The failures such as flaking, wear, crack and seizing caused by the high contact pressure accompanied with sliding motion between inner or outer ring and ball are potential failures of ball bearing. In this research, we have qualitatively selected the efficient test items through the analysis of the life and potential failures of ball bearing. The bearing's failures are related closely to the whole system in using the bearing. So, the bearing itself requires an estimation of life in order to opreate the system safely. We have tested ten ball bearings. Our research has applied both radial and axial direction force of maximum torque conditions simultaneously for the accelerated life testing. The result is established by employing the weibull plot and compared the predicted life of ball bearing to the experimental result.

  • This paper focuses on the in-house reliability assurance plan for the bulk materials of each company. The reliability assurance needs in essence a long time and high cost for testing the materials. In order to reduce the time and cost, accelerated life test is adopted. The bulk sampling technique was used for acceptance. Design parameters might be total sample size(segments and increments}, stress level and so on. We focus on deciding the sample size by minimizing the asymptotic variance of test statistics as well as satisfying the consumer's risk. In bulk sampling, we also induce the sample size by adapting the normal life time distribution model when the variable of the lognormal life time distribution is transformed and adapted to the model. In addition, the sample size for both the segments and increments can be induced by minimizing the asymptotic variance of test statistics of the segments and increments with consumer's risk met. We can assure the reliability of the mean life and B100p life time of the bulk materials by using the calculated minimum sample size.
