Development of Dental Consultation Chatbot using Retrieval Augmented LLM (검색 증강 LLM을 이용한 치과 상담용 챗봇 개발)

  • In this paper, a RAG system was implemented using an existing Large Language Model (LLM) and Langchain library to develop a dental consultation chatbot. For this purpose, we collected contents from the webpage bulletin boards of domestic dental university hospitals and constructed consultation data with the advice and supervision of dental specialists. In order to divide the input consultation data into appropriate sizes, the chunk size and the size of the overlapping text in each chunk were set to 1001 and 100, respectively. As a result of the simulation, the Retrieval Augmented LLM searched for and output the consultation content that was most similar to the user input. It was confirmed that the accessibility of dental consultation and the accuracy of consultation content could be improved through the built chatbot.

Developing Digital Archives from the Records of Westerners who visited Korea during the Enlightenment Period of Chosun (개화기 방한 서양인 기록물의 디지털 아카이브 구축에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to create a digital archive for local cultural contents compiled from the records of westerners who visited Korea during the Enlightenment Period of Chosun. The compiled information were gathered from 11 records, and 10 main subjects and 120 sub-subjects were derived through the subject classification scheme. Item analysis was conducted through 37 metadata, and input data types were classified and databased in Excel. Finally, a model of the digital archive system was simulated, and a webpage consisting of five menus was presented. Suggestions for future research were extensive aggregation of new data for archive expansion, active connections between archive systems, standardization of systems, and improved system design for compatibility and user-friendliness.

  • Recently, the infrastructure to be connected to the internet is much provided, there is more and more need to connect electric or electronic products to the internet to monitor or control them remotely. However, most of the existing products lack the network interface, so it was very inconvenient to be connected to the internet. Therefore, this article designs and realizes the internet outlet allowing real-time scheduling that can control the power remotely on the internet by using the hardware TCP/IP processor. The realized product consumes low production cost because it can be realized by using the hardware TCP/IP processor and the 8-bit small microprocessor. In addition, the product can be used widely in both wired and wireless environments with a variety of user interface, including the dedicated control program which provides the environment configuration functions; embedded web service that enables the webpage to be saved on the external flash memory; Android smartphone application; motion recognition control environment that uses the OpenCV computer vision library, etc.
