BIM library, as a systematic collection of BIM objects where the building information is stored, is a vital factor to construct the BIM based work environment. However, construction business is faced the problems relating BIM library such as the absence of the standard for establishing BIM library, the discontinuity of BIM library's compatibility and the lack of practice applicable BIM library. These problems cause the decreasing work efficiency and the recreating BIM model, by delivering inefficient information required in each stage and application field. The purpose of this study is to suggest the integrated management system for property information of BIM library in order to minimize the reworking and to manage information of each stage and application field when exchanging and sharing information. To achieve this, the BIM information classification, the criteria of property requirements for information exchange in BIM application field and the BIM library management system are developed. This study could contributes to ensuring the reliability and accuracy of results of BIM based analysis and to enhancing the speed of business process with sharing and exchanging building information utilizing a single BIM model.

This study investigated what motivated Gabriel Naud$\acute{e}$(1600-1653) to become associated with the library and how he performed his librarianship. He formulated his ideas into a theory, and put the ideas into practice through three libraries. Particularly, he established the goals of the library, and provided services in keeping with the goals. Such activities are closely related to the post of a modern librarian. In addition, it was found that his ideas bear similarities to Ranganathan's Five Laws of Library Science. Therefore, this article carried out the study from a universal perspective from which Naud$\acute{e}$ had opened the library and provided user-centered services.

The utmost intention of this work is to identify various field areas which are most prevalent in library and information science education. The study also denotes the rate of tendency on the rapid growth and development of research production among information specialists in Bangladesh. In order to carry out the study, an extensive literature review was carefully done to collect the basic elements of research patterns. It is noted that in the period of 1980-2016, 200 articles were published in library and information science by Bangladeshi researchers in 62 journals. In this article a total of 200 articles were reviewed. The result of the present study shows that the ratio of female authors had fewer contributions than male authors did. The majority of articles were published from the United Kingdom. The study also shows that the largest numbers of articles (19 papers, 9.50%) were published in the Social Science Journal of the University of Rajshahi from Bangladesh. The paper also shows that about 71.50% of papers have been cited while 28.50% of papers did not receive any citation. The present research might be helpful for revealing the country's research trends in library and information science. However, this study may also inspire development of a subject-based indigenous database and can act as an important device for research scholars.

In this study, we investigate the usefulness of the measures of the 2008 Korean Public Library Operation Assessment as perceived by librarians in practice using a survey. The survey was answered by librarians in large, medium, and small-sized libraries managed by local autonomous bodies and in large-sized libraries that belong to local education authorities. The survey results show that whereas the usefulness of items was higher in planning area and those items that can be easily counted, and usefulness of items in human resources and facilities was lower. There are no significant results in differences by library size and by the characteristics of librarians. Based on the results, we suggest a direction for the improvement of the Korean Public Library Operation Assessment.

University libraries in Korea are facing a crisis because of decline of users and librarian reduction from internet development and digital media. To solve this problem, author referred to the literatures on change management of company. Because there are many accumulating knowledge and experiences about company change management. It is necessary to lead the sympathetic sense of crisis by all university librarians. The vision should be made by all librarians' agreement. But the vision practice is more important than developing. In order to practice the vision, it is more useful to share the leadership with general manager and influential librarians in Korea university libraries. Furthermore, systematic leadership training for librarians is needed than ever.

Webometric research in the Russian library sector is just beginning to gain momentum. This article examines the experience of webometric research in libraries from the perspective of the global practice. In particular, it highlights a number of foreign works, which may have a special practical value for Russian libraries, and emphasizes important webometrics areas for libraries. The purpose of this study is to research the practical application of key performance indicators (KPIs) abroad and conduct a webometric analysis of the websites of some leading Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries based on selected KPIs. The study data were collected with SimilarWeb and other analytical tools. The study revealed that key traffic metrics are the basis of webometric research, and identified available promising groundwork for the purpose of their further testing. The shortcomings in the current state of the websites of the Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries were noted. Based on the obtained webometric traffic indicators, the ranking of the Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries was made.

Ontological knowledge modelling of epic texts, though being an established research arena backed by concrete multilingual and multicultural works, still suffers from two key shortcomings. Firstly, all epic ontological models developed till date have been designed following ad-hoc methodologies, most often combining existing general purpose ontology development methodologies. Secondly, none of the ad-hoc methodologies consider the potential reuse of existing epic ontological models for enrichment, if available. This paper presents, as a unified solution to the above shortcomings, the design and development of GOMME - the first dedicated methodology for iterative ontological modelling of epics, potentially extensible to works in different research arenas of digital humanities in general. GOMME is grounded in transdisciplinary foundations of canonical norms for epics, knowledge modelling best practices, application satisfiability norms, and cognitive generative questions. It is also the first methodology (in epic modelling but also in general) to be flexible enough to integrate, in practice, the options of knowledge modelling via reuse or from scratch. The feasibility of GOMME is validated via a first brief implementation of ontological modelling of the Indian epic Mahabharata by reusing an existing ontology. The preliminary results are promising, with the GOMME-produced model being both ontologically thorough and competent performance-wise.

The RAK has in general adopted the provisions of the paris principles to a far greater extent than many other cataloguing codes. And the analyses confirm that the determination of the main entries in German cataloging rules is a rather complex process and one which can result in inconsistent, arbitrary decisions. And the selection of the main entry requires a considerable amount of decision making which is time-consuming and costly. From the point of view of computers, all entries are equal as points of retrieval. In light of the above considerations the most important recommendation to be made is that the main entry principle be abandoned from cataloging theory and practice and be replaced by the title entry. It would eliminate the need for personal judgments required by the present rule. In so doing, it would bring uniformity and Standardization to cataloging practice. Use of the title entry would reduce the time and effort spent on the selection of the main entry which serves no important purpose in the catalog. Therefore title entry is more developed finding device than author entry in direct approach for document retrieval.

The purpose of this study was to assess whether library field practicum has been effective in enhancing students' practical skills, to determine if the field practicum program was appropriately designed and implemented, and to derive improvement strategies. To achieve this, six major areas of library and information science and 30 detailed practical skills were identified. Subsequently, a survey was conducted on 19 fourth-year students majoring in library and information science at D University before and after their field practicum. The study results indicated changes in the importance of nine specific practical skills and in the perception of 15 skills. Consequently, it was observed that items of practical skills actually covered during the field practicum showed positive changes. However, for practical skills not addressed in the field, there was either no change or a negative change in perception of their importance. It appears that proactive and continuous efforts will be necessary to utilize these research findings in suggesting specific skills that students should cultivate during their practicum and in providing concrete practicum guidelines to effectively enhance these skills.

This research is aimed at contributing to the education related to library space planning by carrying out a questionnaire survey on the recognition of libraries related to the education related to library space planning and supporting libraries in charge of library space planning through the result analysis. The following is a report on the direction and improvement of education based on a survey on the impact on subjects related to library space planning. First of all, education on library space planning should be centered on practical work of space planning. Second, the participation of librarians in the planning process of library space must be considered important for smooth communication with users and experts. Third, it is expected to be necessary to plan education methods and curriculums related to the planning of library space according to the size and budget of the library. Fourth, active public relations regarding library space planning education is necessary. The active promotion of library space education will emphasize the participation and necessity of librarians in space practice, and further contribute to the operation of libraries and the provision of library services to users.
