본 연구는 한국의 공공도서관 예산결정에 영향을 미치는 거시환경과 미시환경의 속성이 무엇인지를 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2017년도의 167개 지방자치단체 공공도서관 예산액을 종속변수로 활용하였고, 공공도서관 해당지역의 거시 및 미시환경 데이터를 독립변수로 활용하였다. 연구결과 공공도서관 예산결정에 영향을 미치는 거시환경 요인으로 대도시 여부, 교육정도, 청소년 인구 속성이 유의미한 분석결과를 보였다. 아울러, 미시환경 요인으로 이용자수, 사서수, 장서수의 속성이 유의미한 분석결과를 보였다.

본 연구는 연구데이터 관련 국내 연구의 동향을 파악하기 위하여 RISS에서 연구데이터 관련 논문을 수집하였으며, 데이터 정제 후 총 58건의 연구논문을 대상으로 134개의 저자 키워드를 추출하여 키워드 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 아직까지 국내에서 연구데이터 관련 연구의 수가 58건에 지나지 않아 추후 많은 관련 연구가 진행될 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 연구데이터 관련 연구 분야는 대부분 복합학 중 문헌정보학에 집중되어 있었다. 셋째, 연구데이터 관련 저자 키워드의 빈도분석 결과 '연구데이터관리', '연구데이터공유', '데이터리포지터리', '오픈사이언스' 등이 다빈도 주요 키워드로 분석되어 연구데이터 관련 연구는 위의 키워드를 중심으로 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 키워드 네트워크 분석 결과에서도 다빈도 키워드는 연결 중심성 및 매개 중심성에서 중심적인 위치를 차지하며 관련 연구에서 핵심 키워드에 위치하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 최근의 연구데이터 관련 동향을 파악할 수 있었고, 향후 집중적으로 연구해야 하는 분야를 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the planning guideline of individual space size for public library. The 26 cases were selected from the data of outstanding libraries built after the year 2000. The paper focused on the comparison between the data from analysis and the guideline from manual book of public library. The result of this study was as followed ; The first, reference reading rooms were open-plan rather than segmented. The second, the percentages of reference reading spaces from the data were lower than the guidelines. It proved the fact that the role of public library expanded to cultural community space. The third, children's space retained sufficient numbers of book collections. It represented that people realized the importance of children's library in terms of cultural education. The fourth, the percentage of space size of cultural area showed high amount of numbers. It proved the fact that the public library as community center was required various cultural programs. The fifth, the percentages of preservation library were lower than the guideline in case of the big libraries, while the small libraries were higher. The book collections of detached annex libraries should be linked with the central libraries.

본 연구는 지역통합시스템을 운영하고 있는 파주시 산하의 4개의 공공도서관을 대상으로 최근 3년간의 장서 데이터와 이용 데이터, 수서 데이터를 수집하여 도서관별 대출 및 상호대차를 분석하고, 나아가 이용과 수서간의 상관관계를 검증하기 위하여 구입 자료에 대한 중복도를 비교분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 이용대상 자료에 따라 주제별로 대출과 상호대차에 있어 차이가 있음을 발견하였고, 이러한 특징이 구입 자료의 중복에도 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 관내 상호대차시스템을 실시하는 개별도서관은 장서구성 단계에서부터 보다 치밀한 장서개발정책이 필요함을 지적하였다.

본 연구는 69개의 iSchool에서 데이터 사이언스 관련 교과가 어떻게 제공되고 있는지를 파악하고, 국내 교과와 비교하여 방향성을 제시한다. iSchool은 건강, 기술, 바이오 분야를 비롯한 관련 분야로 그 교과 영역을 확장하는 현상이 두드러진다. 하지만, 국내 교과에서는 인접학문과 융합하려는 현상은 활발하게 관찰되지 않았다. 데이터를 어떻게 처리하고 관리할 것인지에 대한 영역 역시 iSchool이 집중하는 분야인데, 일반적인 데이터 사이언스, 데이터 관리, 데이터 보안 등에 중점을 둔 교과가 제공되고 있다. 데이터를 저장하는 방식에 대한 교과 분류는 '데이터베이스' 관련 교과의 비중이 높았으며, 비슷한 비중으로 통계와 분석법이 제공되고 있었다. iSchool의 교과를 분석하고 국내 사례와 비교해 본 결과 본 논문은 국내 문헌정보학이 데이터 사이언스 관련 교과를 확대하고, 병진 데이터 사이언스로의 역할을 강화하며, 수리적 분석 능력을 키우는 교과를 개발하되, 특성화된 교과를 발굴하여 실험적인 수업을 제공하고, 기술과 상호작용하는 지식을 제공해야 할 것을 제안한다.

This paper aims to implement a topic modeling technique for extracting the topics of online discussions among library professionals in India. Topic modeling is the established text mining technique popularly used for modeling text data from Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, and other social media platforms. The present study modeled the online discussions of Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals posted on Lis Links. The text data of these posts was extracted using a program written in R using the package "rvest." The data was pre-processed to remove blank posts, posts having text in non-English fonts, punctuation, URLs, emails, etc. Topic modeling with the Latent Dirichlet Allocation algorithm was applied to the pre-processed corpus to identify each topic associated with the posts. The frequency analysis of the occurrence of words in the text corpus was calculated. The results found that the most frequent words included: library, information, university, librarian, book, professional, science, research, paper, question, answer, and management. This shows that the LIS professionals actively discussed exams, research, and library operations on the forum of Lis Links. The study categorized the online discussions on Lis Links into ten topics, i.e. "LIS Recruitment," "LIS Issues," "Other Discussion," "LIS Education," "LIS Research," "LIS Exams," "General Information related to Library," "LIS Admission," "Library and Professional Activities," and "Information Communication Technology (ICT)." It was found that the majority of the posts belonged to "LIS Exam," followed by "Other Discussions" and "General Information related to the Library."

이 연구는 대학도서관 이용자 특성과 연계한 전자책 대출기록 분석하여, 대학도서관 전자책서비스의 낮은 이용에 대한 원인을 분석하고 전자책서비스 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 이의 분석방법으로 기초분석은 빈도분석과 기술통계를 사용하였으며, 성별과 전공분야별로 평가항목 간에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 분석하기 위해 t-test, ANOVA, 교차분석($X^2$) 및 상관관계를 사용하였다.

Recently, the volume of knowledge information in the form of electronic media is quickly increasing in the library field along with the advancement of electronic communication technology. Libraries have both printed data and electronic data and are faced with the issue of corresponding with the access and use of knowledge information in terms of the space. This study is for building the layout of a sustainable knowledge information space based on the view that the library is the official infrastructure of the knowledge information based society. It is intended to analyze the meaning of knowledge information in the modern society, characteristics in the spatial organization and the transmission of knowledge information. The goal of this study is to understand and forecast the spatial structure where users access knowledge information and exchange with one another and developing the direction and guidelines for the spatial plan that today's libraries prefer through this analysis. For this, this study firstly prepared the base for the research on library space which can be considered as the physical realization of such concepts, through the theoretical review about the knowledge information and social concepts as well as characteristics of modern society. Also, it seized the characteristics in the transmission of knowledge information by conducting a structural analysis of the information service such as knowledge information and space, space and information media, space and space through the cases of 10 public libraries. The analysis resulted in basic data including the system of organizing knowledge information, system of knowledge information transferring elements and structure, and layout pattern of each library. These results are deemed meaningful for the promotion of communication with the user through the exchange, creation, and experience of knowledge information, the social role of today's public library.

본 연구는 문헌연구와 국가도서관통계시스템 데이터를 중심으로 공공도서관에서 진행되는 독서프로그램의 현황을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하고 이를 기반으로 향후 공공도서관의 독서프로그램 활성화를 위해 필요한 정책 방향 등을 제안하고자 하였다. 분석을 통해 도출된 시사점을 바탕으로 첫째, 공공도서관 독서 활동 데이터 확보와 공유 방안을 제안하였다. 둘째, 지속가능한 독서프로그램 추진을 위한 방안 제안을 위해 독서프로그램 기획과 운영에 관련있는 요소의 상관관계 분석결과를 제시하였다. 셋째, 독서프로그램 평가지표 개선 및 질적 평가의 확산을 언급하고 문화체육관광부, 한국도서관협회 등에 상시적으로 공공도서관 현장의 의견을 수렴할 수 있는 공식 창구 마련 등을 제안하였다. 넷째, 독서대전 개최지역 공공도서관들 간 협의체 구성 운영을 제안하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 다양한 도서관 이용이 학업성취에 어떤 영향을 주고 있는 지를 밝히는 것이다. 분석에 필요한 데이터는 S대학교 학부생을 대상으로 대학도서관 이용과 학생들의 평점평균(GPA) 정보를 수집하였다. 대학생의 배경변인에 따른 도서관 이용요인과 학업성취도 간의 차이검증은 t검증과 분산분석을 실시하였고, 도서관 이용요인과 학업성취도 간의 영향관계 규명을 위해서는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 학생의 성별, 학년, 전공계열에 따른 도서관 이용과 학업성취도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도서관 이용요인은 학업성취도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 도서관의 학술정보 자료와 학습시설을 많이 이용하는 학생이 더 높은 등급의 학업성취도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.
