고해상도 항공 영상과 딥러닝 알고리즘을 이용한 표본강도에 따른 토지이용 및 토지피복 면적 추정 (Assessing the Impact of Sampling Intensity on Land Use and Land Cover Estimation Using High-Resolution Aerial Images and Deep Learning Algorithms)

  • 본 연구는 IPCC에서 제시하고 있는 Approach 3 수준의 토지이용 및 토지피복 면적 추정을 위해 고해상도 항공사진에 딥러닝 알고리즘과 Sampling method를 적용하였으며, 표본강도에 따라 토지피복 면적을 산출하고 최적의 표본강도를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 원격탐사자료로는 51 cm급의 고해상도 칼라 항공 이미지를 사용하였으며, 딥러닝 알고리즘은 전이 학습이 적용된 VGG16 아키텍처를 활용하였다. 딥러닝 기반 토지피복 분류모델의 학습과 검증은 육안판독을 통해 선별된 데이터를 이용하였다. 최적의 표본강도를 도출하기 위한 평가는 7개의 표본강도(4 × 4 km, 2 × 4 km, 2 × 2 km, 1 × 2 km, 1 × 1 km, 500 × 500 m, 250 × 250 m)에 따른 토지이용 및 토지피복 면적을 추정하고 환경부에서 제시한 토지피복지도와 비교하였다. 본 연구 결과, 딥러닝 기반의 토지피복 분류 모델의 전체정확도와 카파계수는 각각 91.1% 와 88.8%였다. F-Score는 초지를 제외한 모든 범주가 90% 이상으로 구축되어 모델의 정확도가 우수하였다. 표본강도별 적합도 검정은 유의수준 0.1에서 4 × 4 km를 제외한 모든 표본강도에서 환경부에서 제시한 토지피복지도의 면적 비율과 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 또한, 표본강도가 증가할수록 상대표준오차와 상대효율은 감소하였으며, 상대표준오차는 1 × 1 km 표본강도에서 모든 토지피복범주가 15% 이하로 감소하였다. 따라서, 지역 단위의 토지피복 면적 산정을 위해서는 표본강도를 1 × 1 km보다 상세하게 설정하는 것이 적합하다고 판단된다.

산업용지 수요예측 및 산업단지 입지선정에 관한 연구 - 안성시를 사례로 - (A Study on the Forecast of Industrial Land Demand and the Location Decision of Industrial Complexes - In Case of Anseong City)

  • This study aims to build a model dealing with the location decision of new manufacturing firms and their land demand. The model is composed with 1) the binary logit model structure identifying a future probability of manufacturing firms to locate in a city and their land demand; and 2) the land use suitability of the land demand. The model was empirically tested in the case of Anseong City. We used establishment-level data for the manufacturing industry from the Report on Mining and Manufacturing Survey. 48 industry groups were scrutinized to find the location probability in the city and their land demand via logit model with the dependent variables: number of employment, land capital, building capital, total products, and value-added for a new industry since 2001. It is forecasted that the future land areas (to 2025) for the manufacturing industries in the city are $5.94km^2$ and additional land demand for clustering the existing industries scattered over the city is $2.lkm^2$. Five industrial complex locations were identified through the land use suitability analysis.

도시농업을 활용한 유휴공간의 재발견: 밀워키를 사례로 (Reinventing Vacant Lands for Urban Agriculture: Evaluating Milwaukee's Vacant Land Programs and Initiatives)

  • Converting vacant lands for urban agriculture has become a popular topic for American cities to engage in on a program and policy level. The advocates of urban agriculture cite a number of potential benefits, ranging from promoting sustainable urban development, fostering social interaction and educational opportunities, regenerating neighborhoods, and empowering residents. With the emergence of vacant lands in South Korea, different strategies have been implemented for productive use. Nonetheless, less attention has been paid to reinvent vacant lands for urban agriculture. Therefore, this study has examined the case of the City of Milwaukee's vacant land initiatives and programs that were known to have brought a series of positive neighborhood revitalization outcomes. Compared to the case of Milwaukee, intensive land use and high property prices have turned to be the major actors that prevent an active use of vacant land for urban agriculture within the context of South Korean cities. Thus, this paper proposes the possibility of using vacant lands in apartment complexes for urban agriculture.

GIS를 이용한 개석도와 농업적 토지이용과의 관계 분석 - 강릉남대천 유역권을 대상으로 - (Analysis of A Relationship Between Topography Dissected Degree Analysis And Agriculture Land Use using GIS -A Case of Gangneungnamdae River Watershed-)

  • 이 연구는 GIS를 이용하여 지형의 개석도를 측정하고 그 결과를 지도화 하여, 연구지역의 개석도와 토지이용과의 관계를 분석한 것이다. 지형의 개석도 분석에 GIS의 활용하면 전통적인 수작업에 비하여 시간과 노력이 획기적으로 절약되고 개석도 분석에 적용되는 변수를 다양화 할 수 있으며, 그 결과물을 이용한 2차적인 연구도 가능하다. 이 연구도 이러한 배경에서 출발하여 GIS를 활용한 개석도 분석 방법을 모색하고, 개석도의 분석 결과와 토지이용도를 비교 분석하여, 개석도의 분석 결과에 대한 적극적인 활용을 시도하였다. 연구지역인 강릉 남대천 유역권의 개석도와 농업적 토지이용 사이의 관계 분석 결과, 농업적 토지이용 대부분 지형의 개석이 많이 진행된 지역에 분포한다. 특히, 농업적 토지이용 중 논과 밭으로 이용되는 토지가 개석도와 더 높은 상관도를 보였다. 지역별로 개석도와 농업적 토지이용간의 상관관계를 비교하였을 때 토지이용이 집약적으로 이루어지는 동지역이 읍면지역에 비하여 상관성이 낮게 나타났다.

Analysis of Some Desert Ecosystems Vegetation in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Effect of Land Use

  • The present study analyses the effect of land use on the vegetation of some desert ecosystems in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Three sites were selected to represent different types of land use, inside Umm Al-Banadeq forest, outside the forest and along Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Trucks Road. In total, fifty-two stands were examined; including a matrix of 14 species ${\times}$ 52 stands. Based on species cover data, stands were classified using TWINSPAN and ordinated using DCA. Four vegetation groups were generated at level three of classification. Zygophyllum mandavillei was dominant in most vegetation groups; Heliotropium bacciferum dominated vegetation groups inhabited the forest. Species richness, species turnover, relative evenness and relative concentration of dominance of forest vegetation groups were 2.8, 5.7, 0.7, and 2.0, respectively. The differences were attributed to both natural variability and forestry-induced changes, including change in land use, drainage and ploughing and shading by trees. Vegetation group inhabited Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Trucks Road, that were dominated by Haloxylon salicornicum and Zygophyllum mandavillei have high total cover (8.8 m per $m^{-1}$). Most community and vegetation attributes were significantly higher inside the forest than outside. Human interventions and environmental factors affected species diversity and abundance of these communities.

  • As a rational decision-making process of county-level area development, this study designed 3-step framework : function-giving(areal analysis) on unit planning area by decision matrix of land suitability, check of typical characteristics of each function area and formulation of its future development strategies. Two alternatives were suggested as the areal analysis method, of which one is equal ordering / valuing technique of checking indices for land suitability classfication and the other preferential weighting technique. And then, under the algorithm specially defined in this study, land suitability maps(Fig.2,3) of the case study area (Seungju-county area, Chonnam-province, Korea) were drawn from the areal analysis results. By use of land suitability classification results, unique characteristics of typical function areas were defined (on 7 types of alternative 1 , 8 types of II ) and their future development strategies were formulated in the case study area, According to the categorization criteria in this study, all the villages of the case area were classfied as a suitable type of function areas illustrated in this study.

미래토지이용 및 기후변화에 따른 하천유역의 유출특성 분석 (Analysis of Future Land Use and Climate Change Impact on Stream Discharge)

  • SLURP 준 분포형 수문모형을 이용하여 예측된 토지이용 자료와 미래 기후변화 시나리오에 의한 기상자료 및 식생지수 정보를 고려한 상태에서 하천유역의 유출에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 경안천 경안수위관측소 상류유역($260.4km^2$)을 대상으로 4개년(1999-2002) 동안의 일별 유출량 자료를 바탕으로 모형의 보정(1999-2000)과 검증(2001-2002)을 실시하였다. 토지이용 예측은 1996년, 2000년, 2004년의 Landsat TM 및 ETM+ 위성영상을 이용하여 CA-Markov 기법으로 검증(2004)을 실시한 후, 미래의 토지이용(2030, 2060, 2090)을 예측하였다. 예측된 토지이용은 시간이 경과할수록 산림과 논은 지속적으로 감소하고 도시, 초지, 나지 등은 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 미래의 식생정보 예측을 위하여 NOAA/AVHRR 위성영상으로부터 추출된 월별 NDVI(1998-2002)와 월평균기온간의 선형 회귀식을 도출하여 미래의 식생지수 정보(2030, 2060, 2090)를 추정하였다. IPCC SRES A2, B2 기후변화 시나리오에 대한 CCCma CGCM2 모의결과 값(2030s, 2060s, 2090s)을 Stochastic Spatio-Temporal Random Cascade Model(SST-RCM) 기법을 이용하여 downscaling 한 뒤 하천유출의 변화를 분석한 결과, 기후변화에 따른 하천유출율은 1999-2002년의 59%에 비해 미래에는 13%~34%로 감소하는 것으로 모의되었고, 반면에 토지이용의 변화에 대한 유출율은 0.1%~1% 증가하였다.

지가변동의 기대가 요소투입과 생산에 미치는 영향 (Land Price Fluctuation, Expectation, and Production)

  • This paper investigates how the factor inputs of firms are affected by the expectation about land-price increase in the future. We develope a two-factor (land and labor) model, in which expectation about land-price increase plays a key role in determining the "optimal" input level of labor and land. Expecting capital gains from input of the land when land price increases, firms input land up to the point where the marginal productivity of land falls short of the marginal cost of purchasing the land, in order to maximize the "joint-profit". That is, firms have an incentive to use more land than they do when capital gains are not expected. We mean joint-profit by profit in the standard sense plus capital gains. Once the land is input "excessively", the productivity of labor increase and labor is also input more, since land and labor are assumed as complementary in production. This mechanism works in the opposite direction when land price decrease. This paper suggests that land price fluctuation is a major destabilizer of an economy.or destabilizer of an economy.

대기오염 노출지표에 의한 도시개발 입지의 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation Method of Urban Development Location by APEI (Air Pollution Exposure Index))

  • In this study, relationship between the air pollution of Siheung city and the relative contribution of automobiles to the city's pollution was evaluated for the first time. Then, new air pollution exposure index was developed through simulation. Using the newly developed index, two different urban development scenarios were compared to present a sustainable urban development plan to reduce air pollution from the land utilization point of view. According to the result of this simulation, air quality of the city was found to be affected significantly by human activities. More populated area showed worse level of air quality. Any development in the city resulted in more automobile activity and deterioration of air quality. This simulation result thus explains that a rapid increase of automobiles accompanied by the land development near local roadsides in the city is the major cause of air pollution in Siheung city. In this study, if urban activities are vigorous in an area with high air pollution, people are more likely to be exposed to air pollutant under the bad environmental conditions. On the other hand, if urban activities are less vigorous in an area with high pollution or if urban activities are vigorous in an area with less pollution, the environmental condition was positive. The APEI (Air Pollution Exposure Index) was developed based on these considerations. Scenarios 1 and 2 were compared and analyzed using APEI. In result, scenario 1 is the case in which land is developed and used in an environmentally favorable manner. From this study, it was proved that the impact of air pollution on human health can be minimized with proper land use. The result form the current study can be used as the basic information to solve problems from improper land utilization and air pollution (by road traffic). It also can be utilized to evaluate air pollution level according to land use and road characteristics and to help to choose the best location of land use to comply with the road function and status.

지하수오염 예측을 위한 GIS 활용연구 (A STUDY ON THE PREDICTION OF GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION USING GIS)

  • This study has tried to develop the modified DRASTIC Model by supplying the parameters, such as structural lineament density and land-use, into conventional DRASTIC model, and to predict the potential of groundwater contamination using GIS in Hwanam 2 District, Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Since the aquifers in Korea is generally through the joints of rock-mass in hydrogeological environment, lineament density affects to the behavior of groundwater and contaminated plumes directly, and land-use reflect the effect of point or non-point source of contamination indirectly. For the statistical analysis, lattice-layers of each parameter were generated, and then level of confidence was assessed by analyzing each correlation coefficient. Groundwater contamination potential map was achieved as a final result by comparing modified DRASTIC potential and the amount of pollutant load logically. The result suggest the predictability of contamination potential in a specified area in the respects of hydrogeological aspect and water quality.
