The purpose of this study was to analyze the usage characteristics and the role of spatial and social psychology of open spaces in urban neighborhoods. The survey for this study was conducted on 318 residents in Gyungsan. For analysis, the frequencies and means were calculated, the chi-square test, t-test, and analysis of variance were performed. Survey results revealed that, first, not only the preferred open space type but also the usage characteristics by gender were different. The tendency for males was to visit open spaces to exercise and to stay for longer than one hour. However, the females visited open spaces to care for their children and meet friends or neighbors. They also visited more often than males but stayed for a shorter time. Second, females tended to consider the open space as a place for rest and leisure. Females valued the social psychology aspects of the open space function. Third, regarding the spacial role of open space in urban neighborhoods, study participants believed that the waterside parks improve the quality of life, but were concerned for the safety of children. Considering the social psychology role of open spaces, study participants regarded the waterside parks as improving emotional health. The participants were students in grades 5 (3), after school parents who are interested in sports activities (3), after school sports activities led by experienced teachers in three of were selected as study participants. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, collected data were transcribed and coded for domain analysis, classification analysis. The analysis of the results were as follows. After school physical activities, educational significance of the various values of physical activity experiences, meeting with school physical education and sport, educational welfare: the elimination of educational disparities, physical culture, introductory appeared.
According to a rise in leisure time thanks to a five-day workweek system, the population of golf tends to rise day by day as exercise not extreme and doing together with nature, and as a sport with high concentration degree, by virtue of people who have an interest in health care and who strive to enjoy a leisure life. This study targeted the whole male and female golfers who reside in the areas of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and are now playing golf, carried out sampling, and finally used 485 sheets for analyzing data. The study results were as follows; First, as a result of analyzing the whole lifestyle propensity depending on golfers' gender, it was shown that, as a result of making it type by factor, a male golfer was classified into shopping intention, fashion intention, family intention and tradition intention, and a female golfer was divided into shopping intention, fashion intention, family intention and man-and-woman equality intention. Second, as a result of analyzing a characteristic of gender depending on the standard of selecting goods, it showed the difference between genders as for the standard of selecting goods in case of purchasing golfwear, and it showed the difference in style/design, physique fitness, wearing of a famous golfer, convenience of laundry and management, and functionality, and male golfers were shown to select after seeing the clothes which a famous golfer did wear, compared to female golfers. Also, it could be seen that there was difference depending on the standard of selecting goods and the purchasing propensity in case of buying golfwear.
This study is an initial report of actual wearing conditions and attitude based on a survey of wearing outdoor wear for men and women in their 30s to 50s who enjoy daily leisure sport activities. Most middle-aged men and women who enjoy outdoor activities were interested in new trends and clothing styles. The greatest area of interest was health(42.9%), followed by leisure and sports(38.4%); in addition, hiking(40.2%) was the most popular outdoor activity. The majority of subjects participated in outdoor activities for over 5 years(34.4%). The highest frequency of outdoor activities was conducted once or twice a month, and it took one to three hours for each activity. Nearly half of the respondents( 47.7%) answered that the goal of outdoor activities was to maintain their health. Subjects in their 40s and 50s were more equipped in their outdoor activities and in their 50s made ongoing investments despite costs. When wearing clothing, the subjects placed a priority on design(in the case of subjects in their 30s) and comfort(for subjects in their 40s and 50s). This survey shows that the subjects emphasized access to outdoor wear and equipment. In all age groups, the biggest complaint about outdoor wear was price; in addition, they were unsatisfied with the length and the sleeves of outdoor jackets. Outdoor wear will draw a positive attention for its practical use of clothing if it is developed according to consumer demands based on functionality for outdoor activities and convenience in daily life.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological well-being of Pilates class participants and their intention to continue exercising by examining the passion for leisure of Pilates participants who continue to exercise while taking risks during COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects were 285 Pilates participants. For data processing, SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used, and frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted. In addition, path analysis was SEM and the bootstrapping method was used to examine the mediating effect of psychological well-being in the relationship between the passion for leisure and intention to continue exercising. First, passionate behavior had a positive effect on psychological well-being. Second, passionate behavior had a positive effect on exercise continuity. Third, psychological well-being had a positive effect on exercise continuity. Fourth, psychological well-being played a partial mediating role in the relationship between passionate behavior and exercise continuity.
The purpose of this study was to investigate that the effect of dietary fatty acid composition on pro- and macro-glycogen utilization and resynthesis. The analyses were further extended for different muscle fibers (type I, type II, & type IIb) as well as tissues (i.e., liver & heart). Total one hundred sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were used, and rats were randomly allocated into four experimental groups: animals fed standard chow diet (n=40), animals fed saturated fatty acid diet (n=40), animals fed monounsaturated fatty acid (n=40), and animals fed polyunsaturated fatty acid (n=40). Animals in each groups were further divided into five subgroups: sacrificed at REST (n=8), sacrificed at immediately after 3 hr swim exercise (P-0HR, n=8), sacrificed at one hour after 3 hr swim exercise (P-1HR, n=8), sacrificed at four hour after 3 hr swim exercise (P-4HR, n=8), and sacrificed at twenty-four hour after 3 hr swim exercise (P-24HR, n=8). Soleus (type I), red gastrocnemius (type IIa), white gastrocnemius (type IIb), liver, and heart were dissected out at appropriated time point from all animals, and were used for analyses of pro- & macro-glycogen concentrations. After 8 weeks of dietary interventions, there was no significant difference in body mass in any of dietary conditions (p>.05). After 3 hr swim exercise, blood lactate level was higher compared to resting conditions in all groups, but it was returned to resting value after 1 hr rest (p<.05). Free fatty acid concentration was higher in all high fat fed groups(regardless of fatty acid composition) than CHOW consumed group. At rest, pro- & macro-glycogen concentration was not different from any of experimental groups (p>.05). Regardless of forms of glycogen, the highest level was observed in liver (p<.01), and most cases of supercompensation after 3hr exercise observed in this study were occurred in CHOW fed tissues. Except heart muscle, all tissues used in this study showed that pro- and macro-glycogen concentration was significantly decreased after 3 hr exercise. Based on these results, two conclusions were made: first, there is no different level of glycogen content in various tissues regardless of types of fatty acids consumed and second, the highest mobilization rate would be demonstrated from CHOW fed animals compare to animals that consumed any kinds of fatty acid diet if prolonged exercise is applied.
