Diglycidy1 ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA)/4,4'-methylene dianiline(MDA)계의 경화반응 속도에 미치는 pheny1 glycidy1 ether (PGE)-acetamide(AcAm)의 영향을 연구하였다. 반응성 첨가제로 사용된 PGE-AcAm는 PGE와 acetamide를 2:1의 몰 비로 혼합한 후 18$0^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 반응시켜서 합성하였으며, PGE의 에폭사이드기와 AcAm의 아민기가 반응함으로써 수산기를 형성함에 의해 진행되었다. 이 때 생성된 수산기는 DGEBA와 MDA의 반응에서 촉매로 작용하여 반응속도를 크게 활성화 에너지는 11.11 Kcal/mol이었고, 30 phr의 PGE-AcAm이 첨가된 계의 활성화 에너지는 7.91Kcal/mol이었다.

The bacterial behaviour against antibiotics and pattern were examined with 88 strains of 10 species, isolated from pus collected in the infirmary of college of dentistry, and Seoul national university hospital during recent 7 years. 1. Isolated bacterial species and their relative incidences were, as follows, coagulase positive staphylococcus 50%, alpha hemolytic streptococcus 17%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 10% and coagulase negative staphylococcus 8%. 2. Gentamycin reveals the highest sensitibity and cephalosporine follows it.

Neurolytic splanchnic nerve block is effective for treatment of intractable upper abdominal cancer in. The possibility of neurologic complication cannot be completely precluded. A 53 year-old female patient with hepatoma and lung metastasis was submitted for splanchnic nerve block with alcohol. Splanchnic nerve block was performed under radiologic control by image intensifier without any difficulty during procedure. One day after the block, she complained of numbness with sensory deficit in bilateral inguinal area. Neurologic examination revealed that asymmetrical anesthesia, hypoesthesia at $T_{12}-L_2$. She was discharged 70 days after the block with partial improvement. The possibility of alcohol spreading to the low theracic and upper lumbar somatic nerves cannot be excluded.

Nodular fasciitis is a benign reactive proliferation that usually involves the deep fascia. Although it is relatively common in the adult population, it is often misdiagnosed as sarcoma due to its rapid growth and pathological features. It rarely presents as a chest wall tumor in young patients. Here, we report a case of nodular fasciitis involving the chest wall of an 18-year-old woman and its surgical management. This case underscores the need to consider nodular fasciitis in the differential diagnosis of chest wall tumors in young patients.

에폭시 수지 계의 경화반응 속도를 증가시키고 기계적 물성을 향상시키기 위해 합성 pheny1 glycidy1 ether(PGE)-acetamide(AcAm)를 diglycidy1 ether of bispenol A(DGEBA)/4,4'-methylene dianiline(MDA)계에 도입하였다. PGE와 AcAm을 2:1의 몰비로 혼합한 후 18$0^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 반응시켜서 PGE-AcAm을 합성하였다. 5phr의 PGE-AcAm이 첨가되었을 때 인장강도가 15% 개선되었으며, 그 이후로는 PGE-AcAm을 합성하였다. 5phr의 PGE-AcAm이 첨가되었을 때 인장강도가 15% 개선되었으며, 그 이후로는 PGE-AcAm의 함량에 관계없이 거의 비슷한 값을 나타내었다. 반면에유리전이 온도(Tg)와 충격강도는 PGE-AcAm의 함량이 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 파단면은 PGE-AcAm이 첨가됨으로써 더 복잡한 형상을 나타내었다.

The copolyester was prepared by melt polycondensation varying the amount of ethylene glycol(EG) and pentanediol from terephthalic acid(TPA), EG and pentanediol isomers were. used as the third monomer. The chemical structure and the compositions of the copolyester were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Thermal properties were investigated with the aid of differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analyzer.

본 연구는 서로 다른 조건에서 질산화를 유도한 반응기의 군집동태를 살피기 위해 DGGE를 이용하여 반응기 초기의 슬러지 구성 군집의 상태와 질산화 유도후의 군집변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. DGGE의 전체 profile에 의하면 군집을 조성하는 개체군의 수가 상당히 축소되었다는 점과 비배양적인 질산화균이 여전히 많다는 점, 그리고 호기조건과 미호기/무산소 조건에 공존하는 band가 많은 것으로 볼 때 예상보다는 산소에 대해 내성이 있는 질산화균이 많다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
