A Pilot Study of Sa-am Acupuncture Treatment Used by Sham Acupuncture for the Simple Obesity (이중맹검용 피내침을 이용한 단순성 비만여성의 사암침 치료효과에 관한 임상선행연구)

  • Objectives : To present proper protocol as global standard- clinical study about acupuncture treatment, and to demonstrate effectiveness of Sa-am Acupuncture treatment for obesity. Methods : We randomly allocated participants to treatment group 1 and 2. The group 1 is treated by real acupuncture and the group 2 is treated by Kim Sham Acupuncture. We treated Bi-jang seung-gyeok (脾臟勝格) ; Daedon(LR1), EunBaek(SP1) Gyoung-geo(LU8) Sang-gu(SP5), to both group. Primary outcomes were measured by the Body Composition Analysis(Inbody. Korea). Secondary outcomes were measured by Blood Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL, LDL Cholesterol. Results : After treatment, the group 1 shown significant weight loss that analysed by Kruskal-Wallis certification, but didn't show notable change in body fat, total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol. Group 2 didn't show significant change in body weight, body fat, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, but total cholesterol was notably decreased. Controled group was not changed in body weight, body fat. Aftter treatment, 3 groups didn't show significant change in body weight, body fat, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol.

A Research on the Calligraphic Critique of Seongjeok Jeong-Jik Lee - Based on 'Wongyo-Jinjeok' of Wongyo Gwang-Sa Lee (석정 이정직의 서예비평 연구 - 원교 이광사의 『원교진적』을 중심으로 -)

  • This thesis is an introduction and critique of the recently released 'Wongyo-Jinjeok(원교진적)'. 'Wongyo-Jinjeok' is the critique of Seokjeong Jeong-Jik Lee (석정 이정직, 1841-1910), a practical scientist and writer during the last years of the Korean Empire, on the calligraphy of Wongyo(원교) Gwang-Sa Lee (이광사, 1705-1777). Even though whether or not Seokjeong follows the flow of Donggukjinche(동국진체) is to be determined by the specialists in this field, this thesis is based on the view that Seokjeong was influenced by Donggukjinche. The academic value of 'Wongyo-Jinjeok' is Seokjeong's preface and epilogue which critiques Wongyo's writing. 'Wongyo-Jinjeok'is a collection of calligraphic specimens from the 18 pieces of Chinese poetry Wongyo had written before and after June 1756 which was the year after he was banished to Booryung. Seokjeong critiqued the writing of Wongyo from the perspective of calligraphic history in the preface and epilogue of 'Wongyo-Jinjeok'. Seokjeong had been positive about Wongyo's taking after the pre-Wangheejee calligraphic style. But at the same time, Seokjeong thought that Wongyo's ability to create was limited by the public morals of that time. Such thought of Seokjeong can be interpreted as an evaluation of Wongyo's calligraphy as having been externally stern but failing to transcend the realm of mastery to the realm of creation.

Effects of Pre-Sintering Surface Treatment and Liner Application on the Shear Bond Strength of Zirconia and Pressable Ceramic (소결 전 지르코니아 표면처리와 라이너 사용에 따른 지르코니아와 열가압성형도재의 전단결합강도)

  • Purpose: This study was intended to investigate the effect of applying liner for chemical bonding and physical surface roughness created on zirconia by using a sandpaper before sintering on the bond strength between the two materials. Methods: Zirconia blocks were cut using a low-speed cutter. Plate-shaped specimen($6mm{\times}6mm{\times}3mm$) was fabricated by sintering after giving surface roughness according to four kinds of sandpapers. Depending on whether or not to use liner, 60 specimens were divided into two groups ZN(non-liner), ZL(liner), and the two groups were subdivided into four groups respectively in accordance with sandpaper used, totaling eight groups (n=10). The surface roughness (Ra) values and shapes before sintering were observed, and shear bond strength after pressing ceramic plasticity was measured with a universal testing machine. For a test of the significance, a one-way ANOVA was performed, and Tukey's multiple comparison test was conducted. Results: The observation of the surface roughness was SB04($2.22{\pm}1.16{\mu}m$), SB08($2.98{\pm}0.33{\mu}m$), SB12($2.44{\pm}1.32{\mu}m$), SB20($2.34{\pm}0.59{\mu}m$) and SA04($2.34{\pm}0.67{\mu}m$), SA08($1.28{\pm}0.90{\mu}m$), SA12($2.03{\pm}1.60{\mu}m$), SA20($2.19{\pm}1.73{\mu}m$). In the case of ZN Group, the shear bond strength was ZN04($23.26{\pm}3.83MPa$), ZN08($21.76{\pm}2.33MPa$), ZN12($20.49{\pm}3.01MPa$), ZN20($24.98{\pm}4.22MPa$)(p<0.05). As for ZL Group, the shear bond strength was ZL04($25.09{\pm}5.67MPa$), ZL08($22.98{\pm}2.26MPa$), ZL12($21.54{\pm}5.70MPa$), ZL20($23.98{\pm}3.23MPa$)(p<0.05). Conclusion: The research results showed that the bond strength of Zirconia core and Pressing ceramic was further improved by physical surface treatment before sintering, rather than by chemical bonding through liner surface treatment.
