Self-driving technology is changing the paradigm of automotive industry. Since it is imperative to converge this emerging technology with ICT and there is a time lag between securing this emerging technology and occurrence of firm performance, it is difficult to make decisions on technology development. This study investigates patent indicators to understand the impact of self-driving technology on performance of automotive parts companies. We analyze 611 of self-driving technology patents from 2000 to 2016 and the financial performance of 270 small and medium businesses that register the corresponding patents with consideration of up to four years of time lag. Our analysis results show that patents related to self-driving has a positive impact on asset growth of 2 years and sales growth of 3 years in terms of time lag. This study contributes to the literature by analyzing the impact of technology development on the firm performance in case of convergence of the automotive and ICT industries. Additionally, this study provides a role of patent in knowledge management planning through technology development as a practical implication.

보건의료서비스는 스마트 시대의 도래와 함께 의료와 복지, 안전 등이 복합화 되고 지능화된 스마트헬스(s-Health)의 단계로 진화되고 있으며, 향후 이용자 중심으로 다양한 서비스가 상호 연계되는 고도로 지능화되고 종합화되는 서비스로 지속적인 발전이 예상되고 있다. 따라서 PHR(Personal Health Record)서비스의 활성화를 위해서는 PHR 공동 활용 체계를 구축하기 위한 Open Platform이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IHE XDS 프로파일 기반의 진료정보교류 환경에서 PHR 공동 활용 체계 구축을 위하여 Mobile PHR Store를 개발하고 open API 기반 PHR Platform을 제시한다.

a-GIZO(비정질 Ga-In-Zn-O)박막은 유연하며 광학적으로 투명하고 높은 전자의 이동도를 갖는 반도체적 특성을 갖기 때문에 차세대 display분야에서 TFT(Thin-Film-Transistor)의 high speed active-matrix layer로써 각광을 받고 있다. 이 물질의 표면은 환경 및 표면처리에 매우 민감하며 [1,2], 이 표면에 metal이 증착되는 경우에도, 선행 연구에 의하면, 다양한 chemical state가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 이것은 metal의 증착에 따라 metal과 a-GIZO 사이의 contact 저항이 달라짐을 의미한다. 우리는 a-GIZO 박막 위에 Au를 단계적으로 증착시키면서, Au coverage 증가에 따른 core-level과 valence에서의 x-ray photoelectron spectra의 변화를 살펴봄으로써 a-GIZO박막과 Au의 계면에서 일어나는 chemical state의 변화를 알 수 있었다. 특히, Au deposition의 전 처리과정으로써 Ne ion sputtering을 두 단계로 다르게 하여 a-GIZO의 표면환경에 따른 Au 증착의 영향을 살펴보았다.

This study was performed to develop a rapid test kit for pathogenic Staphylococcus in various samples. The rapid detection kit has been fabricated based on nitrocellulose lateral-flow strip. Colloidal gold and Staphylococcus antibodies were used as a tag and a receptor, respectively. Manually spotted Staphylococcus antibody and anti-mouse antibody on the surface of nitrocellulose membrane were used as test and control lines, respectively. Feasibility of the rapid kit to detect Staphylococcus aureus in samples were evaluated. The intensity of the color of the test line started to increase with the samples in which higher concentration of the cells were contained. The sensitivity of the sensor was $10^6$ cfu/mL Staphylococcus spiked in PBS. Also, the rapid test kit could detect $10^5$ cfu/mL of Staphylococcus in chicken meat extract.

Chemical durability issue in polymer electrolyte membranes has been a challenge for the commercialization of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). In this study, we proposed a manufacturing method of Nafion composite membrane containing a stable polyimide antioxidant to improve the chemical durability of the membrane. The thermal casting of the Nafion solution with poly (amic acid) induced polyimide reaction. We evaluated proton conductivity, oxidative stability with ex-situ Fenton's test, and fluoride ion emission to analyze the effect of polyimide antioxidants. We confirmed that incorporating the polyimide antioxidant improves the chemical durability of the Nafion membrane while maintaining inherent proton conductivity.

LMS는 교육 학습 활동의 관리를 자동으로 해주는 소프트웨어로 코로나 확산으로 온라인 교육이 증가하고 있는 요즘 대부분의 교육 기관에서 사용되고 있다. LMS는 온라인 수업 뿐만 아니라 오프라인 수업과 연결지어 활용할 수 있을 만큼 활용도가 높고 광범위한 방식을 포괄하고 있다. 따라서 사회적 거리두기가 지속되었던 기간 동안 교육 기관 뿐만 아니라 재택근무 등 온라인 업무를 보기 위한 직장인에게도 유용한 소프트웨어임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 LMS 기능은 향후 교육 시장과 온라인 클래스의 발전에 큰 도움이 될 것이다.

Smart hospitals involve the use of recent ICT (information and communications technology) technologies to improve healthcare access, efficiency, and effectiveness. Standardization in smart hospital technologies is crucial for interoperability, scalability, policy formulation, quality control, and maintenance. This study reviewed relevant international standards for smart hospitals and the organizations that develop them. Specific attention was paid to robotics in smart hospitals and the potential for standardization in this area. The study used online resources and existing standards to analyze technologies, standards, and practices in smart hospitals. Key technologies of smart hospitals were identified. Relevant standards from ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) were mapped to each core technology. Korea's leadership in smart hospital technology were highlighted. Approaches for standardizing smart hospitals were proposed. Finally, potential new international standard items for robotics in smart hospitals were identified and categorized by function: sampling, remote operation, delivery, disinfection, and movement tracking/contact tracing. Standardization in smart hospital technologies is crucial for ensuring interoperability, scalability, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and quality control. Implementing international standards in smart hospitals is expected to benefit individuals, healthcare institutions, nations, and industry by improving healthcare access, quality, and competitiveness.

Hair style of royal ladies in the 19th century according to the wedding record of King Heon-jong and Lady Sunhwagung is studied in this paper and summarized as follows: First, Saengmeori was a bridal hair style for the wedding night in Gyeonmagi(jacket) and Daeranchima(Skirt with gold trimming). It was a typical girls' hair style before the coming-of-age ceremony. It was composed of Saengmeoridari(wig), Seockunghwang, Jogduri(Coronet decorated with Jewellery), Saengdaeng-gi(hair ribbon) trimmed pearls, and jade disk trimmed pearls. Second, Garaemeori(double bun hair style) was the hair style with Wonsam when the chosen bride went to Byeol-Gung, a special palace for the bridal. It was composed of Gareachi(wig) and Cheopji(small wig) with the frontal hair ornament, jogduri, and Saidang-gi(hair ribbon). Third, Jojimmeori(single bun hair style) is a basic hair style for the madame. It was composed of jojimmeorichilbo, jogduri, jojimmeoridari(wig), and Cheopji with a frontal hair ornament. Fourth, Keunmeori is the second most important hair style for the court ceremony. It was composed of Eoyeomjogduri, Eoyeomdari(wig), Cheopji with a frontal hair ornament, Keunmeoridari(wig), and Keunmeorichilbo. Fifth, Susik, the most important hair style for the court ceremony, is the hair style for ceremonies including the day of becoming the formal queen, the first greeting day to the King's family. It was composed of 4 kinds of wigs and Susik-chilbo.

Larval specimens of Halicampus punctatus were collected off Ulsan and Uljin in December 2002 (three specimens) and off Ulsan in December 2003 (one specimen). These specimens are characterized by the following morphological characteristics: rings, 14 + 35 = 49; subdorsal rings, 1 + 3 = 4; dorsal fin rays, 19 - 20; pectoral fin rays, 14 - 15; anal fm rays, 9; head length (HL), 5.8 - 6.7 in the standard length; snout length, 1.9 in HL; snout depth, 3.7 - 5.2 in snout length. The number of caudal fin rays 9 is less than those of the other species in the same genus 10. Wide stripe bands composed of small pigments are shown in the trunk and the tail. Melanophores are not found in the dorsal fin, the pectoral fin, and the anal fin except the caudal fin. The supraoccipital crest is on the head. The frontal ridge is on the dorsal side of front trunk. The blanched ridges on the opercular are fused with a main ridge like a tree branch. A few branched ridges that are small and narrow on the trunk and the tail are fused with the main ridges. We report these specimens as the first record in Korea and name them 'Byeol-sil-go-ki' in Korean.

지구환경문제에 대응하기 위한 탄소배출량 저감 기술 개발과 같은 대응기술 개발이 시급한 가운데 수 해양공간에 대한 수요의 증가로 플로팅 건축물에 대한 관심 또한 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 플로팅 건축물 주변에 존재하는 신재생에너지 중 해수 열 이용을 위한 수중 열교환기를 기초연구를 바탕으로 제작하고 실험을 통하여 성능을 평가하였다.
