상대평가에서 협동학습이 학습결과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Cooperative Learning in the Relative Evaluation)

  • 대학에서 일반적으로 학습결과를 평가하는 방식에는 크게 두 가지가 있는데 상대평가와 절대평가이다. 최근 우리나라 대학의 문제점은 절대평가에 의한 학점 인플레 현상이 매우 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 절대평가의 이러한 단점과 비교해 봤을 때 상대평가의 가장 유용한 장점은 학습 성취에 대한 개인차의 변별이 가능하다는 점이다. 하지만 상대평가의 단점은 과다한 경쟁 심리가 조장됨에 있다. 본 논문에서는 상대평가에서 협동학습이 학습결과에 미치는 영향에 대해서 설문조사를 바탕으로 분석해 보았다. 상대평가에서 협동학습을 실시한 학생들의 학습결과를 3개의 집단(A그룹 : 학습결과가 A학점 이상, B그룹 : 학습결과가 A학점 미만 B학점 이상, C그룹 : B미만)으로 나누어서 그 결과를 분석 조사하고, 추후 필요한 연구에 대해서도 제시하였다.

열화상 이미지와 환경변수를 이용한 콘크리트 균열 깊이 예측 머신 러닝 분석 (Comparison Analysis of Machine Learning for Concrete Crack Depths Prediction Using Thermal Image and Environmental Parameters)

  • This study presents the estimation of crack depth by analyzing temperatures extracted from thermal images and environmental parameters such as air temperature, air humidity, illumination. The statistics of all acquired features and the correlation coefficient among thermal images and environmental parameters are presented. The concrete crack depths were predicted by four different machine learning models: Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Random Forest (RF), Gradient Boosting (GB), and AdaBoost (AB). The machine learning algorithms are validated by the coefficient of determination, accuracy, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The AB model had a great performance among the four models due to the non-linearity of features and weak learner aggregation with weights on misclassified data. The maximum depth 11 of the base estimator in the AB model is efficient with high performance with 97.6% of accuracy and 0.07% of MAPE. Feature importances, permutation importance, and partial dependence are analyzed in the AB model. The results show that the marginal effect of air humidity, crack depth, and crack temperature in order is higher than that of the others.

How Long Will Your Videos Remain Popular? Empirical Study with Deep Learning and Survival Analysis

  • One of the emerging trends in the marketing field is digital video marketing. Online videos offer rich content typically containing more information than any other type of content (e.g., audible or textual content). Accordingly, previous researchers have examined factors influencing videos' popularity. However, few studies have examined what causes a video to remain popular. Some videos achieve continuous, ongoing popularity, while others fade out quickly. For practitioners, videos at the recommendation slots may serve as strong communication channels, as many potential consumers are exposed to such videos. So,this study will provide practitioners important advice regarding how to choose videos that will survive as long-lasting favorites, allowing them to advertise in a cost-effective manner. Using deep learning techniques, this study extracts text from videos and measured the videos' tones, including factual and emotional tones. Additionally, we measure the aesthetic score by analyzing the thumbnail images in the data. We then empirically show that the cognitive features of a video, such as the tone of a message and the aesthetic assessment of a thumbnail image, play an important role in determining videos' long-term popularity. We believe that this is the first study of its kind to examine new factors that aid in ensuring a video remains popular using both deep learning and econometric methodologies.

단어의미 추론에서 나타나는 아동의 마음이론 (Children's Inferring Word Meaning From Understanding of the Speaker's Mind)

  • This study investigated how children rely on the mind of the speaker to infer unfamiliar words. Sixty 3 to 5-year-old children were interviewed individually with word inference and false belief tasks. Children's sensitivity to the speakers' intentions and prior experiences increased with age. Unexpectedly, their performance was not different with the condition of mind construct. Children's inferring word meanings were positively, but not significantly, correlated with understanding others' false beliefs.

사회인지이론과 의학교육: 어떻게 사회적 상호작용을 통해 학습이 일어나는가 (Social Cognitive Theory and Medical Education: How Social Interactions Can Inform Learning)

  • The structures and processes of medical education have changed little since the publication of Flexner's report, which stressed the scientific orientation of medical education and the curricular structure of 2 years of formal knowledge education and 2 years of clinical experience. However, the previous perspectives on medical education are facing challenges, and these call for new pedagogy and theories on which to base medical education practice. Considering that social dimensions of learning have been emphasized in practice, perspectives that integrate these aspects are needed. Among the various learning theories, social cognitive theory refers to the theoretical framework which contends that learning occurs within interactions with others and environments. From a social cognitive standpoint, learning through observation is a critical component in human functioning. Indeed, observational learning has particular significance in medical education in that it provides the context for which the importance and meaning of role models can be understood. In addition, as theoretical constructs such as self-efficacy and outcome expectations allow us to establish an effective learning environment, exploring the concepts of the theory could be beneficial to medical education practice. In this context, the present review article aims to provide a glimpse of the fundamental assumptions and theoretical concepts of social cognitive theory and discusses the implications the theory has on teaching and learning. Further, a review of previous studies could help explain how the theory has informed medical education practice. Finally, the author will conclude with the implications and limitations of applying social cognitive theory in medical education.

예비유아교사를 위한 스토리텔링기반 협동학습 모형 개발 (Development of storytelling based Cooperative Learning Model for Preliminary childhood teachers)

  • 본 연구는 팀 구성원들과 관계를 형성하여 협동하는 능력을 길러주고, 자신과 타인에 대해 이해하고 신뢰가 바탕이 되어야 하는 예비유아교사들에게 스토리텔링 기법을 활용하여 협동학습 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌 및 사례연구를 통하여 스토리텔링기반 협동학습 모형 초안을 구안하고, 이를 현장에 적용하여 모형의 강점과 개선점을 중심으로 수정 보완하여 모형을 구안하였다. 도출된 모형의 초안은 P시 D대학 유아교육과 학생을 대상으로 6주에 걸쳐 현장적용 하였다. 그 결과, 협동학습에 대한 긍정적인 반응과 협동학습에 대한 재인식하기, 팀 구성원의 역할분담 재구성에 대한 필요성이 도출되었고, 이를 바탕으로 모형을 수정 보완하여 예비유아교사를 위한 협동학습 모형의 최종안을 구안하였다.

전문대학생용 학습전략 진단 척도의 온라인 활용을 위한 재타당화 연구 (Scale Revalidation Study for Online Use of the Learning Strategy Diagnostic Scale for Junior College)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 전문대학생용 학습전략 척도(K-Learning Strategy Scale for College)의 온라인 활용을 위해 학습인지와 학습정서 요인의 문항을 추가하고 재타당화하는 것이다. 전문대학생의 학습전략에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 학습인지, 학습행동, 학습정서의 하위요인을 각각의 항목별로 구체적으로 탐색하고 분석하는 것은 자기성찰과 학업성취도 향상을 위해 중요하다. 추가된 문항은 학습인지 요인의 학습정보처리 과정에서의 주의집중을 진단하는 2개 문항과 학습정서 요인의 타인에 대한 불안수준을 진단하는 대인불안 요인 2개 문항이다. 연구대상 지역은 전국 5개 지역으로 실시하였으며, 연구대상자는 불성실 응답 327명을 제외한 923명의 전문대학생이다. 수정된 K-LSS_r 척도는 학습인지(18문항), 학습정서(15문항), 학습행동(19문항)의 3개 영역 하위요소로 구성된 총 52문항의 전문대학생용 학습전략 진단 척도이며, 본 연구에서 일반화를 위한 신뢰도 검증 결과 척도 전체 Cronbach의 α 계수는 .896이었고, 3개 요인의 Cronbach의 α 계수는 .876에서 .910이었다. 척도의 반분신뢰도 계수는 전체가 .858이었고 3개 요인의 반분신뢰도계수는 .792에서 .843이었다. 5개 지역 소재 대학생 350명을 대상으로 3주간의 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검증 결과는 전체가 .884이었으며, 일반화를 위한 타당도 검증 결과에서 구인타당도가 통계적으로 유의한 정적상관을 나타내었다.

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to analysis and to give information about the type of orthopedic manual physical therapy research by KAOMPT Journal from 1995 (Volume 1) to 2011 (Volume 17). The number of research paper were total 212 studies. Method: The studies were analysed with retrospective descriptive study. The results of data analysis was as follow; Results & Conclusion: 1. The studies was analysed 6 study field; manual therapy for disease field (130 studies), the therapeutic (16 studies), the effects of manual therapy education method, learning model (7 studies), medical insurance, history, politics of manual therapy (3 studies), and others (19 studies). 2. In the manual therapy of disease field, there were 4 groups of disease; bone disease (43 studies), soft tissue and muscles disease (57 studies), nerve disease(24 studies), and the others (6 studies). The main disease were low back pain, stroke, HIVD. 3. In the assessment, and intervention field, there were only 5 studies during from 1995 to 2000, but the studies from 2001 to 2011 were more increased 21 studies. 4. In the effects of manual therapy education method, learning model, there were very few studies (7 studies), so it will be needed more studies in this field. 5. In the other fields such as more political issue, history, medical insurance for the manual therapy there were few studies, so it will be needed more advanced studies in this field.

언어와 감정-셸리의 『프랑켄슈타인』과 루소의『언어의 기원론』 (Shelley's Frankenstein and Rousseau's Essay on the Origin of Languages)

  • For the last decades, criticism on Frankenstein has tried to make a link between Victor's Creature and Rousseaurean "man in a state of nature." Like the Rousseaurean savage in a state of animal, the monster has only basic instincts least needed for his survival, i.e. self-preservation, but turns into a civilized man after learning language. Most critics argue that, despite the monster's acquisition of language, his failure in entry into a cultural and linguistic community is the outcome of a lack of sympathy for him by others, which displays the stark existence of epistemological barriers between them. That is to say, the monster imagines his being the same as others in the pre-linguistic stage but, in the linguistic stage, he realizes that he is different from others. Interpreting the Rousseaurean idea of language, which appears in his writings, as much more focused on emotion than many critics think, I read the dispute between Victor and his Creature as a variation of parent-offspring conflict. Shelley criticizes Rousseau's parental negligence in putting his children into a foundling hospital and leaving them dying there. The monster's revenge on uncaring Victor parallels the likely retaliation Rousseau's displaced children would perform against Rousseau, which Shelley imaginatively reproduces in her novel. The conflict between the monster and Victor is due to a disrupted attachment between parent and child in terms of Darwinian developmental psychology. Affective asynchrony between parent and child, which refers to a state of lack of mutual favorable feelings, accounts for numerous dysfunctional families. This paper shifts a focus from a semiotics-oriented perspective on the monster's social isolation to a Darwinian perspective, drawing attention to emotional problems transpiring in familial interactions. In doing so, it finds that language is a means of communicating one's internal emotions to others along with other means such as facial expressions and body movements. It also demonstrates that how to promote emotional well-being in either familial or social relationships entirely depends on the way in which one employs language that can entail either pleasure or anger on hearers' part.

과학영재 고등학생들의 학습관련 어려움: 한국과학영재학교를 중심으로 (Learning Difficulties of Science Gifted High-School Students based on Korea Science Academy Survey)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과학영재학교 학생들의 학습관련 어려움의 원인과 해결 방법에 대해 조사하여 과학 영재 고등학생들의 학습 실태를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구에는 한국과학영재학교 전 학년 284명의 학생들이 참여하였다. 학습관련 어려움의 실태를 조사하기 위하여 창의성 4P 이론에 근거한 과학영재의 학습관련 어려움 설문지를 개발하여 사용하였으며, 신뢰도(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$)는 .88이었다. 결과 분석에는 SPSS 12.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석과 중다변량 분석을 실시하였으며, 유의 수준은 5%미만으로 설정하였다. 과학영재 고등학생들은 학년별로 어려움을 겪고 있는 요인에서 차이를 보였으며, 그러한 차이는 대인관계의 어려움에서 주로 나타났다. 성별에 따른 차이 또한 유의하게 나타났는데, 여학생은 남학생에 비해 일반적 학습능력에서 어려움을 보였으며, 남학생은 여학생에 비해 학습전략 사용에서 더 많은 어려움을 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 과학영재학생들은 학습관련 어려움을 주로 동료들과 함께 해결하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 가장 어려움을 잘 해결해 주는 사람은 928 윤소정.배새벽 기타의 경우 다음으로 AA교사로 나타났다.
