효과적인 조리실습을 위한 학습모델에 관한 연구 - 조리 관련대학 중심으로- (A Study on the Learning Model for Efficient Culinary Practice)

  • This study aims to develop the learning model for efficient culinary practice. Today, the environment of culinary education haw an oversupply of cooks who graduated from a lot of culinary schools. From now on , we should consider the quality than the quantity of culinary education. For improving the quality of culinary education, we have to study the learning model for efficient culinary practice. The learning model for culinary practice is based on the educational psychology and the study theories. For achieving the goal of this research, the educational psychology and learning theories need to be adopted to the teaching skill of culinary practice. It should play a very important role in improving the quality of culinary teaching skill in school. But this study has some limitations in this respect, because of being lack of professional studies and data for the educational psychology and leaning theories in the culinary practice part. The next study is needed the significantly adapting result of educational theories in culinary school.

Leadership Development Instruction Program using Flipped Learning Methodology

  • In this paper, we proposed leadership development instruction program for liberal arts class to develop university students' leadership skill using Flipped Learning methodology, and showed the results which were obtained from classes where we applied the program. Leadership ranks high in the skills of those employed by businesses. But it is not easy to develop and exercise leadership. There are many leadership classes for students in Universities, they focus on theoretic, not practical aspects. Flipped Learning could be an efficient instruction learning tool to develop leadership, and has gained much interest lately due to its process involving prior study(pre-class) followed by the students' classroom involvement(in-class). Most of the students taking a course recognize improvement of their leadership skill and have positive results by the proposed program.

  • 본 연구는 최근 학습자의 학습능력 향상에 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 학습기술 훈련 방법에 기반한 e-학습기술 프로그램을 개발하고, 그것을 초등학교 고학년 학생을 대상으로 적용하여 효과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 e-학습기술 프로그램은 학생들이 공부하는데 필요한 여러 가지 정보, 환경, 시간계획, 기억하는 방법, 시험치기 요령 등 실제적인 학습자의 필요성 측면에 입각하여 학습자 요구를 중심으로 만들어졌다. 본 프로그램을 초등학교 고학년에게 적용한 결과, e-학습기술 훈련 프로그램은 학생의 학업성취 개선에 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 추수 검사 결과 e-학습기술 훈련의 효과가 장기적으로 나타나고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 향후 e-학습기술의 개념을 보다 구조적으로 정의하고 학습기술 훈련 프로그램의 내용을 보다 다양화 한다면 학습 능력을 계발시키기 위한 유용한 도구가 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 학습자중심의 문제중심 학습이 정보산업고등학교 프로그래밍 교과에 적용되는 과정을 알아보기 위해 사례연구를 실시하였다. 프로그래밍 학습은 프로그램을 사용하는 목적과 적용하는 문제상황에 따라 학습해야할 기능과 기법이 매우 다양하고 복잡하므로 학습의 맥락에 따라 적합한 문제를 제공하는 것이 중요하기 때문에 학습자가 비주얼베이식 프로그램으로 퀴즈문제를 개발하는 학습내용을 선정하였다. 개발과정에서 학습자는 다양한 사례를 토대로 문제를 작성하고 개발에 필요한 프로그램 기능을 선택하여 협동학습을 통해 문제를 해결하였고 동료평가와 모둠별 평가를 실시하였다. 학습 후 실시한 서술식 설문조사 결과 학습자들은 자신의 학습 상태를 명확히 파악할 수 있었고 학습태도와 참여가 높아져 만족감과 자신감이 증가하였으며 협동학습을 통해 다양한 경험을 할 수 있었다고 하였다.

문제충심학습(PBL)이 청소년 소비자 의식과 기능에 미치는 효과 - 중학교 가정과 `소비 생활` 단원을 중심으로 - (The Effect of Problem-Based Learning on Adolescent Consumer Consciousness and skill)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest one of teaching methods through developing a new guideline of the teaching-learning applied the Problem-Based Learning which is derived from the Constructionism. And then we apply this guideline to the class of Home Economics. especially the unit of the Consumption life for investigating the effect of this method in the aspect of improving man-power development as a consumer The results of this study are summarized as follows : First. the class applied a new method of Problem-Based Learning turn out to be more improved in the aspect of consumer consciousness than the untested class going through explanation-based teaching(P< .01). This is, the former result more positive than the latter because the former could be given chances to handle faced problems in class. Second there is no significant difference between the tested class and the untested class in the aspect of consumer skill. This is the fact that the research was conducted in a short Period of time and that the researcher failed to show the suitable stimulation or materials. even though the researcher was well aware of what Problem-Based Learning is. Third students\` evaluation after the test indicates that the tested class not only increase interest in home economics but also help them to take an active Part in class as the main of the class. and that the learning atmosphere is improved and that the effect of learning was also enhanced. Although the aspect of consumer skill is not statistically significant. the result show that adolescents try to Practice their learning from the class in their life.

체험형 환경학습 프로그램이 초등학생의 환경소양에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Out-of-Class Environmental Experience Learning on Elementary Students' Environmental Literacy)

  • This study was to find out the effects of out-of-class environmental experience learning on elementary students' environmental literacy. For this study, we developed and applied environmental education program utilizing out-of-class facilities and ecological park for the 5th-grade students. The subjects of this study were the 5th grade students of an elementary school located in Si-hung city. The study was carried out for two groups, an experiment group of 29 students and control group of 29 students. The education program using out-of-class environmental experience learning was provided to the experiment group while lecture-oriented education program was provided to the control group. The questionnaire used in this study to assess the environmental literacy of the study objects consists of 41 questions under 4 domains (knowledge, emotion, skill, behavior). After observing and analyzing the effects of out-of-class environmental experience learning on students' environmental literacy, we found that the program using the out-of-class environmental experience learning posed greater impacts than lecture-oriented program. By domains, environmental literacy in 3 domains illustrated positive improvement. In particular, skill domain illustrated much more improvement in environmental literacy. But, domain of behavior didn't illustrated improvement in environmental literacy. The result of this study signified that the out-of-class environmental experience learning has positive and effective impact on the environmental literacy. And out-of-class environmental experience learning is more suitable to improve the skill domain of the environmental literacy than lecture-oriented learning. But, it is couldn't improve the domain of behavior. Therefore, in order to improve behavior domain, the program must apply with effective evaluation and home training.

지구과학 문제중심학습에서 협동기술 훈련의 효과 (Effect of Cooperative Skill Training on Problem Based Learning for Science Class)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 과학과 문제중심학습에서 협동기술 훈련의 효과를 밝히기 위하여 통제집단, 문제중심학습 집단, 협동기술 훈련을 한 문제중심학습 집단의 학습능력 수준에 따라 과학 성취도와 자아존중감을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 학습능력이 높은 학습자는 협동기술 훈련에 무관하게 문제중심학습이 전통적 수업보다 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 학습능력이 중간인 학습자와 낮은 학습자는 협동기술 훈련을 한 경우, 전통적 수업 집단보다 과학 성취도가 높게 나타났다. 이로써 협동기술 훈련이 학습능력이 중간 이하인 학습자에게서 발생하는 무임승객효과를 줄이고 소집단활동의 협력적인 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 자아존중감은 문제중심학습 집단이 통제 집단에 비해 유의미하게 높게 나타났고 학습능력에 따른 상호작용 효과는 없었다.

프로젝트 학습을 적용한 공학컴퓨터프로그래밍 수업 효과 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Engineering Computer Programming Instruction Using Project Learning)

  • 본 논문은 프로젝트 학습을 적용한 공학컴퓨터프로그래밍 수업의 효과를 분석하고 그 문제점을 찾아 수업을 개선하는 데에 목적이 있다. 전통적인 강의 수업과는 달리, 본 공학컴퓨터프로그래밍 수업에서는 프로그래밍 프로젝트를 통하여 공학적 문제들을 해결하게 함으로써 학생들이 문제해결 능력과 팀워크 능력 등을 함양할 수 있도록 하였다. 프로젝트 학습의 효과를 알아보기 위해 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 크게 5개 영역(학습효과, 학습량, 능력습득, 과제, 의견), 5점 척도형 문항으로 총 20개였으며, SPSS 통계프로그램을 사용하여 상관분석, ANOVA 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, (1) 프로젝트 학습은 강의식 수업에 비하여 실제 문제를 해결하고 팀워크 능력을 함양하는데 효과적으로 나타났으며, (2) 자기주도학습력과 정보수집력은 유의미한 상관이 있었고, (3) 가상 학습 공간은 자율학습을 하는데 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 (4) 과제의 분배나 학습난이도에 대해서는 부정적인 결과가 나타났다. 결론적으로 좀더 나은 프로젝트 학습을 위해서는 학생의 수준에 맞는 과제를 개발하는 일이 요구된다고 할 수 있다.

액션러닝 기반 간호관리학 강의 및 실습 운영의 효과 (Effects of Action Learning Approaches on Learning Outcomes in Nursing Management Courses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of action learning approaches on learning outcomes of students taking nursing management courses. Methods: The questionnaire surveys were completed between March 2011 and June 2012 by 109 undergraduate seniors in the nursing department of C University. Survey data were obtained 3 times: before, in and after the study of nursing management. The course consisted of lectures and clinical practices. Learning outcomes were measured through problem solving skills, team efficacy, and class satisfaction. Collected data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA with the SPSS 20.0 program Results: Scores for problem solving skills (F=13.67, p<.001) and team efficacy (F=4.49, p=.012) showed statistically significant increases after the course. The scores also increased significantly after the lectures for 5 of 9 problem solving skill subscales: analysis skill, divergent thinking, decision making, assessment, feedback, and after the clinical practices for 2 subscales: divergent thinking, and execution and risk taking. Class satisfaction score also increased after both the lectures and the clinical practices. Conclusion: The findings from this study suggest that an action learning approaches for nursing management courses would be a useful teaching and learning method to achieve learning outcomes.

과학 탐구 능력 신장을 위한 과학 글쓰기 교수.학습 전략 개발 (The Development of Teaching and Learning Strategy for Improving Science Process Skills with Science Writing)

  • The science writing is recognized for useful learning method to boost up scientific thinking for all class course as well as traditional lecture and experiment. Many researches say that science writing is helpful to extend students' science knowledge and scientific attitude. By the way, the researchers thought that science writing can also improve the science process skill if students participate in delicately organized learning program. In this study, we had contrived the teaching & learning strategy of science writing to improve science process skills. The learning program covers all field of Klopfer's process skills with various forms of writing; explaining writing, logical writing, critical writing, and creative writing. The learning program has been developed for 5th grade students in the regular classes in order to enhance science process skills as well as knowledge and scientific attitude. Not to miss any process skill or various kinds of writing, we used 3 dimensional frame. The axes of the frames are science process skills, forms of writing, and science curriculum contents. The students are given the final writing theme at the beginning of each chapter. They drill science process skills step by step during the classes, and have a chance to talk each other before the final writing. They practice writing skills from one sentence to full article by degrees. The effect of the program was examined by students' work and TSPS (Test of Science Process Skill). The result showed that 5th grade students had a meaningful progress in science process skills as well as knowledge and scientific attitude. we could confirm it with examining students' work in the class.
