소상공인의 학습목표지향성과 업무열의 관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Positive Psychological Capital on the Relationship between Small Business Enterpreneur's Learning Goal Orientation and Work Engagement)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 소상공인의 학습목표지향성과 업무열의 관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위하여 중소기업중앙회 소상공인 지원 프로그램에 참여한 소상공인 300명의 설문결과를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도 및 기술통계 분석, 신뢰도 및 타당도 분석, 상관관계 및 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 소상공인의 학습목표지향성은 긍정심리자본에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소상공인의 긍정심리자본은 업무열의에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소상공인의 긍정심리자본은 학습목표지향성과 업무열의 관계에서 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 소상공인의 학습목표지향성, 긍정심리자본 및 업무열의 증대를 위한 이론적 논의와 실천적 시사점을 제언하였다.

The Characteristic of Reward in Computer Assisted Learning

  • Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) is quite different from in many aspects. CAL provides individualistic learning environment and facilitates autonomy of the learner. Thus the learners who uses CAL program has more sense of control and engages in more strategic learning than conventional learning environment. In this experiment, we used KORI (KORea university intelligent agent) which is a new type of ITS adopting TA (Teachable Agent) that fosters learning by teaching, So, we investigated the critical motivational factor that have influences in CAL learning and the effects of reward in CAL are another area of our interest. Thus, we divided two conditions that presence of reward and absence of reward. The 174 elementary school students(5th) were participated and they are randomly assigned the one of the reward conditions. Before entering the experimental instruction, all participants measured about metacognition, self-efficacy and goal orientation questionnaire as independent variables. Then, Participants were instructed of method of using KORI program and asked to study for ten days with KORI program at least 20 minutes everyday in their home, about 10 days. After 10 days, they were rated interest and comprehension. Regression results suggest that regardless of the presence of reward, metacognition is a positive predictor in interestingness. It indicate that metacognitive skills are required in CAL learning situation irrespective of reward. But on comprehension in the absence of reward, only self- efficacy appeared to be a positive predictor. In the presence of reward, performance goal orientation showed as a negative predictor of comprehension, whereas self-efficacy was a positive predictor. This result suggest that presence of reward especially interferes learning process of performance goal orientation in CAL learning situation. It could be interpreted that reward interferes the learning process of performance goal orientation by debilitating intrinsic motivation.

온라인 협력학습 환경에서 학습동기 유형에 따라 교수메시지에 대한 반응행동 탐색 (Exploring of Reaction Behavior to Instructor Messages according to Learning Motivation Types in Online Collaborative Learning)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 협력학습에서 학습 활동 촉진을 위해 교수메시지를 학습자에게 전달하였을 때, 학습동기(성취목표지향성) 유형에 따라 나타나는 반응 행동을 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 수도권 A대학과 B대학의 학생 82명을 대상으로 온라인 협력학습을 수행하였고, 교수자는 총 6회의 메시지를 전달하였다. 이후 학습자들의 반응 시간과 상호작용의 빈도와 수준을 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 독립표본 t-test를 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 교수메시지를 전달하기 전보다 이후가 상호작용의 빈도와 수준이 모두 높아졌다. 교수메시지에 대한 반응 시간은 수행회피목표지향성을 가진 학생들이 가장 빨랐으며, 스캐폴딩 형태의 메시지에는 숙달목표지향성의 학생들이 가장 민감하게 반응하였고, 독촉의 메시지에는 수행회피목표지향성 학생들이 가장 민감하게 반응하였다. 마지막으로 숙달목표지향성 학생들은 새로운 주제에 대한 행동이 많았고, 수행접근목표지향성 학생들은 정확성과 관련성에 대한 행동이 많았다.

사이버대학에서 지각된 수단성, 숙달접근목표지향성 및 자기조절학습능력과 학업성취도 간의 구조적 관계 분석 (The Structural Relationship among Perceived Instrumentality, Mastery Goal Orientation, Self-Regulated Learning, and Academic Achievement in Cyber University)

  • 본 연구는 평생교육을 위해 사이버대학에 진학한 학생들을 대상으로 지각된 수단성, 숙달접근목표지향성 및 자기조절학습능력과 학업성취도 간의 인과관계를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 W사이버대학의 2010년 2학기 재학생 317명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 그 결과를 구조방정식모형을 통해 검증하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 내재적 수단성이 숙달접근목표지향성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 숙달접근목표지향성이 자기조절학습능력에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 자기조절학습능력이 유일하게 학업성취도에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 외재적 수단성은 학업성취도에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 내재적 수단성은 학업성취도에 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 못 했지만 간접효과를 보였으며 자기조절학습능력이 숙달접근목표지향성과 학업성취도 간을 매개하고 있음이 추가적으로 검증되었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 성취목표지향성과 학습몰입의 상관관계에서 학습태도의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 전남에 소재한 미용특성화고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 성취목표지향성, 학습몰입, 학습태도에 관한 질문을 포함하여 조사한 335부의 설문지를 SPSS통계패키지(PASW, ver 21.0)를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성취목표지향성의 숙달접근과 학습태도 변인이 학습몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 숙달접근과 학급몰입 간 관계에서 학습태도는 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었지만, 수행회피와 학습몰입 간 관계에서 학습태도는 완전매개효과가 있는 것을 보고되었다.

목표 지향성과 서비스 지향적인 조직시민행동 간의 관계 - 특 1급 호텔 근무자를 중심으로 - (The Relationship between Goal Orientation and Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behaviors - A Case of Five Star Deluxe Hotel Employees -)

  • 호텔 업계에서 고객접점 직원들의 서비스 지향적인 조직시민행동의 선행요인에 관한 연구의 필요성이 제기되어, 본 연구는 목표지향성을 선행요인으로 하여, 서비스 지향적인 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관하여 연구하고자 실시하였다. 선행연구를 바탕으로 하여, 목표지향성은 성취-목표 지향성과 배움-목표 지향성으로 나누어졌으며 이 요인들과 서비스 지향적인 조직시민행동의 하위요인(충성도, 서비스 전달, 참여성) 간의 관계 가설이 설정되었다. 특 1급 호텔 직원 266명의 설문이 분석되었다. 분석을 위해, SPSS 19.0과 AMOS 20.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 다변량분석, 구조방정식 모형분석이 실시되었다. 그 결과, 배움-목표 지향성은 충성도, 서비스 전달, 참여성 모두에게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 성취-목표 지향성은 충성도를 제외한 두 하위 요인에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는, 호텔 경영인들이 특정한 목표를 진심으로 지향하는 지원자를 발굴할 필요성을 시사한다. 나아가, 호텔조직은 구성원들의 목표지향성을 이용해서, 그들의 성과 향상에 동기를 부여할 필요성을 제시한다.

레스토랑 직원의 Up-Selling에 대한 목적 지향성이 판매 행동과 판매 성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Learning and Performance Goal Orientation in Restaurant Servers' Up-Selling and Its Impact on Sales Behaviors and Sales Performance)

  • This study investigated causal relationships between goal orientation, sales and performance towards increasing the effectiveness of up-selling in internal promotion methods in family restaurants and provided implications about the hiring and training of sales people. The subjects were 232 sales people in family restaurants. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaires and analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, comparative analysis of the average, and regression analysis. Results, showed that variations in goal orientation, sales, and performance depended on the age and experience of salespeople and that goal orientation makes adaptive selling more effective. It turned out that effort selling affects up-selling result than adaptive selling. Long-term workers were better than short-term workers in goal orientation, selling, and up-selling results, so human resource management needs to implement a long-term plan to enhance these effects. And, because effort selling is more effective than adaptive selling in up-selling results in family restaurants, effort selling requires training.

조직구성원의 정보기술 인적역량과 개인 업무만족 및 업무성과 간의 관계: 목표지향성 관점 (Relationships Among Employees' IT Personnel Competency, Personal Work Satisfaction, and Personal Work Performance: A Goal Orientation Perspective)

  • The study examines the relationships among employee's goal orientation, IT personnel competency, personal effectiveness. The goal orientation includes learning goal orientation, performance approach goal orientation, and performance avoid goal orientation. Personal effectiveness consists of personal work satisfaction and personal work performance. In general, IT personnel competency refers to IT expert's skills, expertise, and knowledge required to perform IT activities in organizations. However, due to the advent of the internet and the generalization of IT, IT personnel competency turns out to be an important competency of technological experts as well as employees in organizations. While the competency of IT itself is important, the appropriate harmony between IT personnel's business capability and technological capability enhances the value of human resources and thus provides organizations with sustainable competitive advantages. The rapid pace of organization change places increased pressure on employees to continually update their skills and adapt their behavior to new organizational realities. This challenge raises a number of important questions concerning organizational behavior? Why do some employees display remarkable flexibility in their behavioral responses to changes in the organization, whereas others firmly resist change or experience great stress when faced with the need to alter behavior? Why do some employees continually strive to improve themselves over their life span, whereas others are content to forge through life using the same basic knowledge and skills? Why do some employees throw themselves enthusiastically into challenging tasks, whereas others avoid challenging tasks? The goal orientation proposed by organizational psychology provides at least a partial answer to these questions. Goal orientations refer to stable personally characteristics fostered by "self-theories" about the nature and development of attributes (such as intelligence, personality, abilities, and skills) people have. Self-theories are one's beliefs and goal orientations are achievement motivation revealed in seeking goals in accordance with one's beliefs. The goal orientations include learning goal orientation, performance approach goal orientation, and performance avoid goal orientation. Specifically, a learning goal orientation refers to a preference to develop the self by acquiring new skills, mastering new situations, and improving one's competence. A performance approach goal orientation refers to a preference to demonstrate and validate the adequacy of one's competence by seeking favorable judgments and avoiding negative judgments. A performance avoid goal orientation refers to a preference to avoid the disproving of one's competence and to avoid negative judgements about it, while focusing on performance. And the study also examines the moderating role of work career of employees to investigate the difference in the relationship between IT personnel competency and personal effectiveness. The study analyzes the collected data using PASW 18.0 and and PLS(Partial Least Square). The study also uses PLS bootstrapping algorithm (sample size: 500) to test research hypotheses. The result shows that the influences of both a learning goal orientation (${\beta}$ = 0.301, t = 3.822, P < 0.000) and a performance approach goal orientation (${\beta}$ = 0.224, t = 2.710, P < 0.01) on IT personnel competency are positively significant, while the influence of a performance avoid goal orientation(${\beta}$ = -0.142, t = 2.398, p < 0.05) on IT personnel competency is negatively significant. The result indicates that employees differ in their psychological and behavioral responses according to the goal orientation of employees. The result also shows that the impact of a IT personnel competency on both personal work satisfaction(${\beta}$ = 0.395, t = 4.897, P < 0.000) and personal work performance(${\beta}$ = 0.575, t = 12.800, P < 0.000) is positively significant. And the impact of personal work satisfaction(${\beta}$ = 0.148, t = 2.432, p < 0.05) on personal work performance is positively significant. Finally, the impacts of control variables (gender, age, type of industry, position, work career) on the relationships between IT personnel competency and personal effectiveness(personal work satisfaction work performance) are partly significant. In addition, the study uses PLS algorithm to find out a GoF(global criterion of goodness of fit) of the exploratory research model which includes a mediating variable, IT personnel competency. The result of analysis shows that the value of GoF is 0.45 above GoFlarge(0.36). Therefore, the research model turns out be good. In addition, the study performs a Sobel Test to find out the statistical significance of the mediating variable, IT personnel competency, which is already turned out to have the mediating effect in the research model using PLS. The result of a Sobel Test shows that the values of Z are all significant statistically (above 1.96 and below -1.96) and indicates that IT personnel competency plays a mediating role in the research model. At the present day, most employees are universally afraid of organizational changes and resistant to them in organizations in which the acceptance and learning of a new information technology or information system is particularly required. The problem is due' to increasing a feeling of uneasiness and uncertainty in improving past practices in accordance with new organizational changes. It is not always possible for employees with positive attitudes to perform their works suitable to organizational goals. Therefore, organizations need to identify what kinds of goal-oriented minds employees have, motivate them to do self-directed learning, and provide them with organizational environment to enhance positive aspects in their works. Thus, the study provides researchers and practitioners with a matter of primary interest in goal orientation and IT personnel competency, of which they have been unaware until very recently. Some academic and practical implications and limitations arisen in the course of the research, and suggestions for future research directions are also discussed.

Effects of Software Education Program for the Education Welfare Priority Support Students on Learning Motivation, Self-efficacy and Goal Orientation

  • In this paper, we propose a Software Education Program for the Education Welfare Priority Support students. Elementary school students of education welfare priority support programs has low school satisfaction level and course maturity. Also, they have various problem such as relatively large digital divide when compared to general student. To solve such problem, we designed, developed, and applied a software education program on education welfare priority support program's elementary school students to analyze its effect on their learning motivation, self-efficacy, and goal orientation. Software education program followed the main stages of ADDIE model and was designed into experience Sharing, Requirements analysis, Sharing, Grouping, and Organizing. 20 of 6th graders in education welfare priority support programs were chosen as subject for software education program. The effectiveness has been analyzed through pre, and pro test. As a result of the analysis, we found that the developed software education program has meaningful effect on Learning Motivation, Self-efficacy, and Goal Orientation of education welfare priority support program's elementary students.

화학교과에서 자아핸디캡경향, 목표지향성, 자기효능감 및 학습전략 사이의 관계분석 (The Analysis of Relationships among Self-Handicapping Tendency, Goal Orientation, Self-Efficacy and Learning Strategies in Chemistry Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 학습전략의 동기요인을 탐색하기 위해 각 관계된 변인들 간의 경로모형을 연구모형 I과 연구모형 II의 기본모형으로 설정했고, 이 연구모형의 관점에서 화학교과를 대상으로 체계적이고 정밀한 분 석을 통해 자아핸디캡경향, 목표지향성, 자기효능감 및 학습전략 사이의 관계를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 연구모 형 I과 연구모형 II 중에서 연구모형 II에 대한 내용이 채택되었고 이 모형의 주요 통계적 적합도 지수들을 확 인하면서 경로를 추가했고 3차 수정한 결과, 연구모형 Ⅱ-3이 본 연구의 완전 연구모형으로 채택되었으나 연 구모형 II-3에서 가정된 9개의 이론적 경로 중 자아핸디캡경향에서 학습전략으로 영향을 미치는 경로의 t값이 |-0.400|으로서 .05의 경계값인 |±2.015|보다 적게 나타났다. 이러한 점을 감안해서 자아핸디캡경향에서 학습전 략으로 영향을 미치는 경로를 연결하지 않는 즉, ‘자아핸디캡경향과 목표지향성'이 자기효능감을 매개변인으 로 하여 학습전략으로 향하는 연구모형 II-2가 본 연구의 최적 연구모형으로 결정되었다.
