  • 본 논문에서는 SCORM 기반 시퀀싱 모델을 기반으로 학습객체의 구조에 대한 정보, 학습자에게 학습 객체를 어떻게 전달할 지를 결정하는 규칙 등을 포함하고 있는 컨텐츠 구조를 제시하고 학습 컨텐츠의 재사용과 공유가 가능하고 동일한 학습 컨텐츠에 서로 다른 교수법을 적용하여 교육의 효과를 달리할 수 있도록 시퀀싱을 위한 컨텐츠 패키지 메타데이터 생성기를 개발한다. 또한 학습자 정보 트래킹을 위한 SCO(Sharable Content Object)함수를 부착하여 학습 객체가 SCORM RTE(Run-Time Environment)와 통신 할 수 있도록 PIF(Package Interchange File)로 자동 패키징 시킨다.

  • 웹 기반의 교육의 활성화로 이를 학습에 응용하기 위한 노력으로 GVA(Global Virtual Academy) 등과 같은 학습 보조 도구가 많이 발표하고 있는 설정이다. 대부분의 학습 보조 도구들은 각각의 특성들만 제시할 뿐 통합된 표준호가 되어 있지 않다. 최근 가상교육에서 학습기술이 상호운용성에 기반한 표준화의 일반적인 필요성을 인식하게 됨에 다라 가상교육의 국제표준을 소개하고 체계적으로 AICC(Aviation Industry CBT Committee), IMS Global Learning Consortium, ADL(Advanced Distributed Learning)을 중심으로 진행되어 오고 있다. 웹 기반의 교육을 통한 질의 응답의 학습방법을 고려한 도구가 없으므로 질의 응답 학습 도구(QALT)지원을 위한 표준화된 LTSA(Learning Technology Standard Architecture) 기반 시스템을 학습 객체에 대한 질의 응답과 개방형 단순 질의 응답 측면으로 구현한다. 그러므로 개방형 단순 질의 응답 측면을 구현하기 위해 학습 기술의 표준화로 제시되어 있는 LOM(Learning Object Metadata)을 통해 설계 자체를 체계화하고 전체적으로 명세 작업을 가능하게 하여 일관성을 유지하는 정련화된 문서로 질의 응답할 수 있도록 한다. 또한, Web 상에서의 Network delivery와 DTD(Document Type Definition)와 Stylesheet를 사용자가 쉽게 수정 가능하며 다양한 Linking Type을 제공하므로 단순 질의 응답 문서의 형식을 XML로 한다

  • In this paper, we investigate a problem with an e-learning system for e-business environments and introduce the solving method of the problem. To be more accurate, existing Web-hosted and ASP (Application Service Provider)-oriented service model is difficult to cooperate and integrate among the different kinds of systems. So we have produced sharable and reusable learning object, they have extracted a principle from pedagogical designs for units of reuse. We call LIO (Learning Item Object). This modeling makes use of a constructing for XML Web Services. So to speak, units of reuse from pedagogical designs are test tutorial, resource, case example, simulation, problem, test, discovery and discussion and then map introduction, fact, try, quiz, test, link-more, tell-more LIO learning object. These typed LIOs are stored in metadata along with the information for a content location. Each one of LIOs is designed with components and exposed in an interface for XML Web services. These services are module applications, which are used a standard SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and locate any computer over Internet and publish, find and bind to services. This guarantees the interoperation and integration of the different kinds of systems. As a result, the problem of e-learning systems for e-business environments was resolved and then the power of understanding about learning objects based on pedagogical design was increased for learner and instruction designers. And organizations of education hope for particular decreased costs in constructing e-learning systems.

  • 최근 정보의 형태는 텍스트나 이미지 기반에서 벗어나 복합 멀티미디어, 즉 동영상 위주로 빠르게 이동하고 있다. 특히 사용자에 의해 제작되고 유통되는 동영상 UCC의 급격한 부상은 사용자의 정보 생산력과 정보 공유, 소비 형태를 능동적으로 변화시키고 있다. PC 뿐 아니라 IPTV에서도 주요 서비스 모델로 관심을 받는 동영상 UCC는 향후 지식 결부형 학습 콘텐츠로 옮아갈 것이라 예상되고 있으며 여기에는 수익 모델의 개발과 저작권 보호 이슈가 해결해야 할 선결 과제로 인식된다. 이에 본 논문은 방송 콘텐츠 제공 표준 기술인 TV-Anytime, 학습객체메타데이터인 LOM(Learning Object Metadata)을 기반으로 OSMU 동영상 UCC 학습 콘텐츠 서비스 모델을 위한 에디터를 설계하고 외부 콘텐츠 소스를 활용할 수 있는 콘텐츠 저작 시나리오에 기반한 메타데이터를 설계하였다. 이를 통해 사용자의 다양한 지식을 활용할 수 있는 UCC 학습 콘텐츠 서비스 모델 발굴과 콘텐츠의 확대 재생산에 있어서 적극적인 저작권 보호가 이루어질 것을 기대한다.

  • 메타데이터는 데이터의 데이터로서 컨텐츠 모델을 구성하는 각 요소들의 속성을 기술하는 방법으로 컨텐츠에 대한 정보를 제공한다. 이러한 메타데이터는 컨텐츠를 더 쉽게 이용하거나 검색할 수 있도록 인덱스화된 레이블로 기술되는데, 정확하게 기술하기 위해 메타데이터 요소가 정밀하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다른 시스템들 간에 재사용 가능한 LIO 학습 객체 모델의 메타데이터를 e-learning 시스템의 메타데이터 표준화 기술인 LOM 을 기반으로 가상교육 시스템에서 필수적인 메타 데이터를 생성, 갱신, 저장하는 도구를 설계 및 개발하고 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 효과적으로 활용하도록 XML 문서로 바인딩 하였다.

  • As society has changed to being more knowledge-based, it is indispensable that Internet usage is incorporated into education. Therefore, the e-learning system is being developed in order to provide a proper environment. However, many LCMS that were developed, currently are not based on SCORM, the world e-learning standard, nor KEM, the Korea Educational Metadata of Korea Education & Research Information Service(KERIS), and hence, it is difficult to share learning contents developed from such varied environments. National Science Museum, a non-educational institution, also provides the educational science exhibits in reality or in cyber space, which cannot be produced by elementary schools, and secondary schools. Consequently, new systems are necessary, whose modules should be divided into four, for example, 'teachers', 'learners', 'managers', and 'instructors', and be associated with each other so that they are able to integrate and manage such systems, and be used in school education as well. Therefore, in this study, more advanced LMS and LCMS, which are the web-portal sites used for a cyber science class at the National Science Museum, were designed and established. These sites were surely based on the KEM, and the SCORM.

  • XML(eXtensible Markup Language), next generation internet standard language has the advantage of easy re-use and re-structure in other computing environment because it has the separate data, presentation and structure. In this paper, we implement the efficient retrieval system for the general user by limiting the XML documents on the multimedia learning contents for the virtual education system. The system design is based on SCO Metadata unit defined in SCORM as the proposed virtual education standard. Each XML documents has three indexes - keyword, element and attribute. Also, it makes possible to retrieve data without previous knowledge of the DTD by making the element retrieval screen structure for the user interface. And it gives the user various result screen formats such as XML and HTML by restructuring the retrieval result through XML-QL and XSL, respectively.

Video Analysis System for Action and Emotion Detection by Object with Hierarchical Clustering based Re-ID (계층적 군집화 기반 Re-ID를 활용한 객체별 행동 및 표정 검출용 영상 분석 시스템)

  • Recently, the amount of video data collected from smartphones, CCTVs, black boxes, and high-definition cameras has increased rapidly. According to the increasing video data, the requirements for analysis and utilization are increasing. Due to the lack of skilled manpower to analyze videos in many industries, machine learning and artificial intelligence are actively used to assist manpower. In this situation, the demand for various computer vision technologies such as object detection and tracking, action detection, emotion detection, and Re-ID also increased rapidly. However, the object detection and tracking technology has many difficulties that degrade performance, such as re-appearance after the object's departure from the video recording location, and occlusion. Accordingly, action and emotion detection models based on object detection and tracking models also have difficulties in extracting data for each object. In addition, deep learning architectures consist of various models suffer from performance degradation due to bottlenects and lack of optimization. In this study, we propose an video analysis system consists of YOLOv5 based DeepSORT object tracking model, SlowFast based action recognition model, Torchreid based Re-ID model, and AWS Rekognition which is emotion recognition service. Proposed model uses single-linkage hierarchical clustering based Re-ID and some processing method which maximize hardware throughput. It has higher accuracy than the performance of the re-identification model using simple metrics, near real-time processing performance, and prevents tracking failure due to object departure and re-emergence, occlusion, etc. By continuously linking the action and facial emotion detection results of each object to the same object, it is possible to efficiently analyze videos. The re-identification model extracts a feature vector from the bounding box of object image detected by the object tracking model for each frame, and applies the single-linkage hierarchical clustering from the past frame using the extracted feature vectors to identify the same object that failed to track. Through the above process, it is possible to re-track the same object that has failed to tracking in the case of re-appearance or occlusion after leaving the video location. As a result, action and facial emotion detection results of the newly recognized object due to the tracking fails can be linked to those of the object that appeared in the past. On the other hand, as a way to improve processing performance, we introduce Bounding Box Queue by Object and Feature Queue method that can reduce RAM memory requirements while maximizing GPU memory throughput. Also we introduce the IoF(Intersection over Face) algorithm that allows facial emotion recognized through AWS Rekognition to be linked with object tracking information. The academic significance of this study is that the two-stage re-identification model can have real-time performance even in a high-cost environment that performs action and facial emotion detection according to processing techniques without reducing the accuracy by using simple metrics to achieve real-time performance. The practical implication of this study is that in various industrial fields that require action and facial emotion detection but have many difficulties due to the fails in object tracking can analyze videos effectively through proposed model. Proposed model which has high accuracy of retrace and processing performance can be used in various fields such as intelligent monitoring, observation services and behavioral or psychological analysis services where the integration of tracking information and extracted metadata creates greate industrial and business value. In the future, in order to measure the object tracking performance more precisely, there is a need to conduct an experiment using the MOT Challenge dataset, which is data used by many international conferences. We will investigate the problem that the IoF algorithm cannot solve to develop an additional complementary algorithm. In addition, we plan to conduct additional research to apply this model to various fields' dataset related to intelligent video analysis.

Design of Compound Knowledge Repository for Recommendation System (추천시스템을 위한 복합지식저장소 설계)

  • The article herein suggested a compound repository and a descriptive method to develop a compound knowledge process. A data target saved in a compound knowledge repository suggested in this article includes all compound knowledge meta data and digital resources, which can be divided into the three following factors according to the purpose: user roles, functional elements, and service ranges. The three factors are basic components to describe abstract models of repository. In this article, meta data of compound knowledge are defined by being classified into the two factors. A component stands for the property about a main agent, activity unit or resource that use and create knowledge, and a context presents the context in which knowledge object are included. An agent of the compound knowledge process performs classification, registration, and pattern information management of composite knowledge, and serves as data flow and processing between compound knowledge repository and user. The agent of the compound knowledge process consists of the following functions: warning to inform data search and extraction, data collection and output for data exchange in an distributed environment, storage and registration for data, request and transmission to call for physical material wanted after search of meta data. In this article, the construction of a compound knowledge repository for recommendation system to be developed can serve a role to enhance learning productivity through real-time visualization of timely knowledge by presenting well-put various contents to users in the field of industry to occur work and learning at the same time.
