모바일 기기용 소형 금속 캔의 전자기장 결합 특성 (Electromagnetic Field Coupling of Small Metallic Cans in Mobile Devices)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 기기용 소형 금속 캔으로부터 발생하는 전자기장의 누설 경로를 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하고, IC-stripline 방법을 이용하여 전기장 및 자기장에 대한 근접장 결합(coupling) 현상을 분석하였다. 금속 캔의 윗면 개구부에 의한 전자기장 누설은 주로 자기장이 우세하고, 측면을 통한 누설은 전기장이 우세함을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, interest in OSC(Off Site Construction) is increasing due to the trend of a decrease in skilled workers and an increase in labor costs. In this regard, PC(Precast Concrete) is being reviewed for apartments, the most common type of housing in Korea. As the biggest concern for PC apartment houses, civil complaints such as inter-floor noise and leakage were presented. In this study, the details of the joints were reviewed based on the past cases of PC apartments, and the details of the recently constructed or planned PC apartments were investigated. Through this, the leakage path in the past was analyzed through the existing research literature and data, and a discussion was conducted on the direction for a detailed proposal of an improved joint in the future.

흙댐의 누수구역 판별을 위한 온도 모니터링 자료의 해석 (Analysis of temperature monitoring data for leakage detection of earth dam)

  • Temperature variation according to space and time on the inner parts of engineering constructions(e.g.: dam, slope) can be a basic information for diagnosing their safety problem. In general, as constructions become superannuated, structural deformation(e.g.: cracks, defects) could be occurred by various factors. Seepage or leakage of water through these cracks or defects in old dams will directly cause temperature anomaly. Groundwater level also can be easily observed by abrupt change of temperature on the level. This study shows that the position of seepage or leakage in dam body can be detected by multi-channel temperature monitoring using thermal line sensor. For this, diverse temperature monitoring experiments for a leakage physical model were performed in the laboratory. In field application of an old earth fill dam, temperature variations for water depth and for inner parts of boreholes located at downstream slope were measured. Temperature monitoring results for a long time at the bottom of downstream slope of the dam showed the possibility that temperature monitoring can provide the synthetic information about flowing path and quantity of seepage of leakage in dam body.

  • Thermal stratification has continuously caused several piping failures in nuclear power plants since the early 1980s. However, this critical thermal effect was not considered when the old nuclear power plants were designed. Therefore, it is urgent to evaluate this unexpected thermal effect on the structural integrity of piping systems. In this paper, the thermal effects of stratified flow in two different safety injection piping systems were investigated by using a coupled CFD-FE method. Since stratified flow is generally generated by turbulent penetration and/or valve leakage, thermal stress analyses as well as CFD analyses were carried out considering these two primary causes. Numerical results show that the most critical factor governing thermal stratification is valve leakage and that temperature distribution significantly changes according to the leakage path. In particular, in-leakage has a high possibility of causing considerable structural problems in RCS piping.

  • This paper presents the results of spectral analysis of leakage current waveforms on contaminated insulators under various fog and environment conditions(salt fog, clean fog, rain) The larger the leakage current during 200ms, the higer the power spectrum at 60Hz. For almost equal maximum current during 200ms, however, the spectrum at 60hz and the odd order harmonics increase emphatically when discharges occur continuously for several half-waves. If contaminated insulators suffers from high salt-density fog, the leakage current occurs with high crest value intermittently, results in the low spectrum. Analysis of leakage current data showed that this electrical activity was characterized by transient arcing behavior contaminants are deposited on the insulator surface during salt fog tests. This provides a path for the leakage current to flow along the surface of the insulator. It is important to have an indication of the pollution accumulation in order to evulate the test performance of a particular insulator. If the drop in surface resistivity is severe enough, then the leakage current may escalate into s service interrupting flashover that degrade power quality.

Effects of Carrier Leakage on Photoluminescence Properties of GaN-based Light-emitting Diodes at Room Temperature

  • Photoluminescence (PL) properties of GaN-based light-emitting diodes (LEDs) were analyzed to study the effects of carrier leakage on the luminescence properties at room temperature. The electrical leakage and PL properties were compared for LEDs showing leakages at forward bias and an LED with an intentional leakage path formed by connecting a parallel resistance of various values. The leakages at the forward bias, which could be observed from the current-voltage characteristics, resulted in an increase in the excitation laser power density for the maximum PL efficiency (ratio of PL intensity to excitation power) as well as a reduction in the PL intensity. The effect of carrier leakages on PL properties was similar to the change in PL properties owing to a reduction of the photovoltage by a reverse current since the direction of the carrier movement under photoexcitation is identical to that of the reverse current. Valid relations between PL properties and electrical properties were observed as the PL properties deteriorated with an increase in the carrier leakage. The results imply that the PL properties of LED chips can be an indicator of the electrical properties of LEDs.

  • 최근 가정이나 산업용 건물에서 컴퓨터, TV, 냉장고, LED 조명 등 가전기기들의 누전전류에 의한 감전사고가 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 그리고 가정 내 벽면에 설치된 콘센트에 직접 연결되어 제어 하는 누전차단 모듈들은 모듈 후단에 병렬로 연결된 각각의 가전기기들의 누전상태를 확인하기가 쉽지 않다. 또한 전류가 정상적인 전류의 통로 이외로 흐르는 누전전류를 기존의 누전차단기들은 배전함에 설치되어 누전시 전원을 차단해 주는 역할 을 한다. 가전기기의 누전으로 인한 감전, 화재 등 여러 가지 재해가 발생하여 누전전류의 위험성이 심각하게 제시되고 있다. 이에 근거리 무선통신시스템 중에서 저전력과 저가격 면에서 장점이 많은 IEEE 80215.4 기반의 지그비통신을 이용하여 상시 감시할 수 있는 누전상태 모니터링시스템 구현방안을 제시한다.

  • Sealing of lubricat-air mixture in the high performance machining conte is one of most the important characteristics to carry out enhanced lubrication. High speed spindle requires non-contact type of sealing mechanism. Evaluating an optimum seal design to minimize leakage is concerned in the aspect of flow control. Effect of geometry and leakage path are evaluated according to variation of sealing geometry, Velocity, pressure, turbulence intensity of profile is calculated to fina more efficient geometry and variables. This offers a methodological way of enhancement seal design for high speed spindle. The working fluid is regarded as two phases that are mixed flow of oil phase and air phase. It is more reasonable to simulate an oil jet or oil mist type high speed spindle lubrication. Turbulence and compressible flow model are used to evaluate a flow characteristic, This paper arranges a geometry of mostly used non-contact type seal and analyzes leakage characteristics to minimize a leakage on the same sealing area.

And wall type RC and PC apartment joint leakage test was performed and we found the needs for a detail of waterproof steps, sealant. Also, joint details were investigated for a rahmen type apartment housing under construction. At last, A discussion was conducted on the direction for a detailed proposal of an improved joint in the future.

LPE 방법으로 제작된 InGaAsP/InP PBH-LD의 누설전류해석 (The analysis of leakage current of InGaAsP/InP PBH-LD fabricated by LPE)

  • 본 연구에서는 수직형 LPE 장치를 이용하여 meltback 방법으로 제작된 PBH-LD에 대한 누설전류를 해석하였다. PBH-LD에서 활성층 이외의 p-n 다이오드와 p-n-p-n 전류차단층과 같은 누설경로에 따른 이들의 영향을 조사하였다. 이러한 누설전류의 영향을 알아보기 위해 누설 폭이 "0" 일 때와 누설 폭이 $W_{ι}$ 일 때를 비교하였다. 그 결과 누설 폭에 따른 임계전류는 누설 폭을 줄이거나, 고유저항 ($\rho$$_{ι}$$\rho$$_{a}$ )비를 증가시켜줌으로써 임계전류가 낮아짐을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제작된 LD의 경우 활성층의 폭 $W_{a}$ 가 약 1.4$\mu\textrm{m}$이고 누설 폭이 약 0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$로, 제작된 LD의 cavity length와 임계전류를 비교해 본 결과 고유저항비가 약 0.5일 때 누설 폭에 따른 계산된 임계전류값과 실제 제작된 PBH-LD의 임계전류값이 일치함을 확인하였다. 따라서, 제작된 PBH-LD의 p-InP 차단층의 도핑농도를 $10^{18}$ c $m_{-3}$ 에서 $10^{17}$ $cm^{-3}$으로 줄여 누설영역의 저항을 크게 함으로써 누설전류를 더 줄일 수 있으리라 생각된다.다.
