The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the factors of self-leadership depending on individual characteristics, job characteristics, and qualities of leader-member exchange. Additionally, this study aims to discover the effect of self-leadership's outcome factors on organizational citizenship behavior and innovative activities. In order to verify research model and hypothesis, questionnaires were collected from department members working at general hospitals, hospitals, and clinics in metropolitan area of Seoul, which were 85 departments and 344 respondents. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS ver. 19.0 and Amos ver. 18.0 statistical package using Structural Equation Model. The results of the analysis showed that both individual characteristics and job characteristics have significant positive effect on self-leadership. Also, self-leadership had significant positive relationship on innovative action and organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of this study are as follow. First, this study empirically explained how self-leadership is applied in healthcare organizations. Second, it verified the relationship between causal factors and outcome factors of self-leadership. Also, prior researches of self-leadership have been conducted on business companies, but this study explored self-leadership at healthcare organizations, which increased external validity. Nowadays, many people are interested in the effect of leadership in order to overcome issues coming from enlarged organizations and to improve performance. Self-leadership will contribute to maximizing voluntary efforts of human resources and performance in a rapidly changing healthcare industry.
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between authentic leadership, organizational identification, job performance, and turnover intention. Specifically, the study investigated whether subordinates' organizational identification mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and subordinates' job performance and turnover intention. The study tested the mediated model using data from 299 employees working in a variety of organizations. The result revealed that authentic leadership was positively related to organizational identification and job performance but was negatively related to turnover intention. Further, organizational identification partially mediated the effects of authentic leadership on job performance and turnover intention. Theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to research the relationships among transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behavior and job performance of employees in hotel corporations. Transformational leadership is associated with higher levels of organizational citizenship behavior and job performance by their employees. And emotional intelligence is an important antecedent of work related outcomes such as organizational citizenship behavior, intention to quit and job performance. To accomplish this study, it was determined that the analysis derived from a hypothesis and literature reviews and data collected from 201 employees in hotel corporations. The results of empirical analysis showed as follows. First, Transformational leadership has a significant influence on emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behavior and job performance. Second, Emotional intelligence has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior Third, mediating effects of employee's emotional intelligence in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior was confirmed. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

Domestic SMEs play a key role in production and employment, accounting for 98.9% of total enterprises, 74.4% of employment, 50.8% of production, and 49.0% of value added (as of 2016). However, they are faced with difficulties of survival because of continuous decrease in profitability, shortage of funds and manpower, insufficient accumulation of technology, minimum wage increase, and 52-hour workweek. In order for SMEs to continue to develop in such a difficult environment, we must constantly innovate our organization by making full use of our knowledge, information, experience and ability. To do this, CEO (management) leadership is very important to ensure that the best people are focused on the organizational innovation and management performance without moving the company. In this study, we wanted to establish empirically how the newly emerging compassionate rationalism leadership of SMEs business managers affected the innovation activities and management performance of companies. Research has shown that management's compassionate rationalism leadership has a positive and significant causal relationship with the innovation activities and management performance of the enterprise. Therefore, SMEs managers need to learn the bottom eight strategic factors of compassionate rationalism leadership and use them strategically to make efforts to create positive emotions for the organization so that members can be immersed in innovative activities and management performance creation.

Many studies have shown that job performance and leadership are important in our society. In addition, to improve the quality of work or to improve the work efficiency is still a lot of challenges for each leader. In Vietnam, there are few specific studies on the impact of leadership styles on employee engagement such as: transformational leadership styles, business leadership styles and leadership styles. In the field of higher education, the fewer studies on these issues. A study is conducted to test the impact of leadership styles on the engagement of cadres, lecturers and staff at public universities in Vietnam. Using adjustment techniques, inspecting the scales and theoretical models representing the relationship among the influential factors. The research is based on a sample of 309 cadres, lecturers and staff currently working in universities in Vietnam and used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationships among the variables. The study results show that the scales of the variables: transformational leadership, transactional leadership, laissez faire leadership, job satisfaction and organizational engagement attain the validity and reliability in the research. The study results also show transformational leadership, transactional leadership and laissez faire leadership are directly and indirectly affected by job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

This article emphasizes the consequences of exploring the relationship between sustainable development practices and non-financial performing factors. Also, it investigates the combined effects of the transformational leadership style on the relationship between sustainable development practices and non-financial performing factors. Using primary data sources, this study reviews the literature on the relationship between the factors of the effectiveness of sustainable development practices of Jordanian contractors and non-financial performance. A total of 290 questionnaires were personally distributed to contractors in the Amman district in Jordan. Only 253 questionnaires were returned and usable for further analysis, which represents a response rate of 87%. Data was collected from October 2020 until April 2020. Hypotheses were tested through multiple regression analysis, and hypotheses for interacting effect were examined through hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis obtained there is a significant effect on the relationship between sustainable development and non-financial performances. It shows that construction companies involved in sustainability practices will able to improve their performance, which contributed significantly toward the overall firm's performance. Whereas, results from hierarchical multiple regressions showed that transformational leadership had no moderation effect on the non-financial performance in such a way that reaches a higher firm performance level.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between transformative leadership, team cohesion, and team performance of Chinese university taekwondo leaders. Specifically, it is to investigate the effect of transformative leadership on team cohesion and team performance and to verify the mediating effect of team cohesion in the relationship between transformative leadership and team performance. In order to achieve the research purpose, a total of 350 people were sampled after setting taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities as a population. The measurement tool used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of 5 items on demographic characteristics, a total of 19 questions on transformational leadership, 10 questions on team cohesion, and 4 questions on team performance. The validity of the questionnaire was verified through exploratory factor analysis, and the reliability was verified through reliability analysis. The reliability Cronbach's α of the questionnaire was found to be α=0.755-0.799 for transformative leadership, α=0.848, and α=0.740 for team performance. As the data processing method, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis, one-way analysis (one-way ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis were used using SPSS WIN. The conclusions derived through the above research methods and procedures are as follows. First, the transformative leadership of Taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities influenced team cohesion. Second, the transformative leadership of Taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities influenced team performance. Third, the team cohesiveness of Taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities influenced team performance. Fourth, the transformative leadership of Taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities not only directly affects team performance, but also indirectly affects team cohesion. Therefore, it is believed that Chinese Taekwondo players will help improve their performance by affecting team cohesion and team performance for the best games through the leader's variable leadership.

This study examined the causal relationship among the leadership type, organizational commitment, and job performance, and to improve the organizational performance and effective methods of human resource management in hospital organizations. The survey period was from October 6, 2016 to October 20, and 375 employees working in hospitals were selected for the final survey. To analyze the validity of the measurement variables, reliability and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted, and the covariance structure equation analysis was conducted to grasp the causal relationship among leadership, organizational commitment, and job performance. In conclusion, leadership, organizational commitment, and job performance were significantly different according to the occupation(p<0.05), age(p<0.05), and working period(p<0.05), and individual care(p<0.001) and conditional reward(p<0.001) showed a high causal relationship with the organizational commitment and job performance. In the future, leadership that can take care of the individual characteristics of the members of the organization and ability to demonstrate their competence will be needed, and it will be necessary to establish a reasonable compensation system after measuring the degree of achievement of work. In addition, leadership needs to be in place to promote organizational performance considering the job type, gender, age, and duration of work. Managers should make efforts to form an organizational culture and provide related education programs to improve loyalty and attachment of members to the organization.
Farm village business performance may be influenced by village leader's leadership and conflict management between villagers, so the objective of this study is to analyze the relationships among farm village leader's leadership, conflict management between villagers and farm village business performance. The questionnaire was performed for 376 villagers in Jeollabuk-do Province. The collected data was analyzed by structural equation model and Sobel test. The result shows that farm village leader's leadership such as human-relationship ability, management ability, communication skills, and industrial knowledge ability have statistically significant positive effects on the conflict management between villagers. The conflict management between villagers also showed a statistically significant positive effects on the social and economic performance. The farm village leader's leadership such as human-relationship ability, sensibility·awareness ability, management ability, communication skills, industrial knowledge ability showed no statistically significant effects on the social and economic performance. But, they showed a statistically significant effects on the farm village business performance in indirect manner with the mediating effect of the conflict management between villagers. It is worthwhile that in this study, the effect of village leader's leadership on the conflict management between villagers and farm village business performance was verified, and then, it is meaningful to present the role and importance of farm village leader's leadership.
This study presented a theoretical research system about the impact of boss' transformational leadership that is recognized by super luxury hotel chefs on their job satisfaction and performance, and on the basis of this theoretical background, the model was derived and the hypothesis was confirmed by empirical research. A frequency analysis was conducted to determine the general characteristics of the 245 samples collected in this study, an exploratory factor analysis for the verification of the validity of boss' transformational leadership, employees' job satisfaction and job performance, and 'Cronbach's a' was used for the verification of reliability. In addition, a canonical correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between transformational leadership, job satisfaction and job performance, and the influencing relations of variables were verified by running a multiple regression analysis through SPSS ver 18.0 statistical package in order to verify this research model and hypothesis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, it was shown that the transformational leadership charisma (p<0.01) and only the individual concern (p<0.1) had a positive influence on job satisfaction. Second, as a result of understanding the impact of the transformational leadership on the job performance through a regression coefficient, it was shown that only boss' intellectual stimulation had an impact on the chef's job performance (p<0.005). Through the results of an empirical analysis that boss' transformational leadership had a correlation and a significant impact on job satisfaction and job performance, the effort of providing the systematic support and motivational aspects of supporting environment will be needed.
