  • The escalating demand for organized information resource management within organizations necessitates increased investment in information security (IS), as a single error can lead to information exposure incidents, underscoring the importance of IS compliance by insiders. The research aims to elevate IS compliance within the organization by examining the influence of the shared goal of information security policy (ISP), perceived ISP value and individual's fits on an insider's intention to comply with the ISP. Antecedent research in organizational behavior and IS led to a proposed hypothesis, tested using 366 obtained samples. The ISP shared goal's positive influence on ISP compliance intentions was evident from the test results, primarily through the perceived ISP value. Furthermore, the person-organization and demand-ability fit moderated the antecedent factors associated with ISP compliance intentions. Our findings suggest the methods for sustaining organizational IS levels by examining the requisite conditions from the viewpoints of the organizational environment, ISP values, and fits.

The fashion industries of Korea, China and Japan were first compared in terms of the four determinants of the double diamond model: thereafter, the double diamond model of Korea, China and Japan were compared. In this, study 31 sub-variables were extracted to measure the eight determinants and secondary data were collected from selected sources between January 2013 and May 2014. The results of comparing the domestic diamond models showed that: China is considerably better than Korea and Japan in terms of demand conditions, firm strategy, organization, and competition conditions while Japan is superior in terms of demand conditions and Korea shows better related and supporting industries conditions. When comparing and analyzing the international diamond models, Japan is superior in terms of factor conditions and China has better demand conditions, while Korea has failed to lead in any of the four determinants. When comparing and analyzing the comprehensive diamond model per country, China show superior demand conditions and firm strategy, organization, and competition conditions, Japan has better factor conditions, and Korea shows superior related and supporting industries conditions.

  • Some problems with the definition, collection, organization, management and use of classics and some solutions for these aspects are presented in this study, in terms of the activation of classics department management. While trying to put these solutions together and to make some basic remedies, we lead to the following facts. First, the understanding on classics should be changed. The ideas that classics are very valuable, so they are only for preservation should be turned to that of making them actively used by the users. And policies as a result of positive interests should be established. Secondly, a written collection development policy statement should be maintained. All the regulations and policies on collection, organization, management and use of classics have to be expressed clearly in this document, in order for the positive and consistent activation of classics department. Thirdly, professional librarians who deal with classics are needed. In order for providing classics service efficiently, first of all, professional librarians who have professional knowledges on classics and are able to provide satisfactory services to their users are needed. And, Financial su n.0, pport for the classics department should be improved. At present, there are few financial su n.0, pports for the classics department in the common libraries. In this situation, it is very hard to activate the use of classics.

  • In order to determine the content levels of trace metals in common salts, 64 bay salt samples were collected from three producing districts and 33 bay salt samples, 32 remade salt samples and 5 fine salt samples were collected from 7 major cities in Korea, from August to September 1987. These were analysed for content levels of Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn and Mn using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results were as follows: 1. Lead contents in three type salts were N.D. - 1081.9 $\mu$g/kg and fourteen percent of the 114 samples exceeded the World Health Organization(WHO) criteria of 100$\mu$g/kg. Cadmium contents of samples were N.D.- 382C.5 $\mu$g/kg and five percent of the 114 samples were over the Spanish criteria of 500 $\mu$g/kg. Copper contents of samples were 8,9-214.9 $\mu$g/kg and there was not a sample over the World Health Organization(WHO) criteria of 500 $\mu$g/kg. Zinc contents ranged N.D. - 342.9 $\mu$g/kg and Manganese contents ranged N.D.- 8.31 mg/kg. 2. The comparison of heavy metal contents among the bay salts from three producing districts was significantly different in Pb, Cd and Cu contents. 3. The comparison of heavy metal contents between the bay salts and remade salts was not significantly different in Pb, Cd and Cu contents. 4. • Background: Environmental hazards are responsible for as much as a quarter of the total world-wide burden of disease. Therefore, appropriate management of environmental hazards is a critical part of the effort to improve human health. This review aims to summarize current issues, topics, and programs at international institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the area of environmental health. Results: The WHO European Center for Environmental Health (ECEH) plays a significant role in implementing environmental health policies and also takes the lead in related issues in Europe. It has developed an Environmental Health Information System and environmental health inequality indicators. In the environmental health area, the OECD focuses most on chemical management programs. It foresees that air pollution and chemical risk management will become the leading environmental health issues if appropriate measures are not taken. Several topics were identified that require greater effort in Korea, including cancer as an environment-related disease, an environmental health information system, and environmental health inequality issues. Conclusions: More active roles are expected from Korea in international societies, in part because of the introduction of the Environmental Health Act of 2008, and active involvement in related activities in WHO WPRO/SEARO. Understanding recent developments and concerns at major international organizations like WHO and the OECD will assist in the implementation of effective international collaboration and the identification of a better strategies for improving environmental health performances in Korea.

Methods: One hundred eighty six nurses recruited from 6 general hospitals in South Korea. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires and analysed by the SPSS WIN 11.0 program using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Nurses participated in the study reported medium levels of perceived internal marketing, job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Perceived internal marketing had significant negative correlation with job stress and turnover intention and significant positive correlation with organizational commitment. Employee's management philosophy was a significant predictor of job stress along with characteristics of hospital, and nurse's educational level ($R^2=$ .18). Working environment was a significant predictor of organizational commitment along with monthly income and job stress ($R^2=$ .31). Promotional strategies and communication style in the organization were significant predictors of turnover intention along with organizational commitment and job stress ($R^2=$ .31). Conclusions: This study suggest that future intervention study enhancing internal marketing would lead the positive changes in job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention.

To understand behaviors of an individual, it is important to understand the personality which determines a difference between individuals. Narcissists has psychological traits to be likely to experience negative emotions, such as frustration, hostility or anger, and this psychological traits of narcissists are more likely to induce an aggression. In this view, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between counterproductive work behaviors and narcissistic personality characteristics and to explore psychological dynamics about how narcissistic personality characteristics had an effect on counterproductive work behaviors. As a result, facts known were as follows. First, narcissists has strong desires to maintain a sense of superiority over others and defend their egos against unpleasant evaluation information, even if the information is factual and accurate. Second, narcissists are hyper-sensitive to negative information and are more likely to encounter information or situations that challenge their positive self-appraisals by this view. Third, in response to these challenges, or ego threats, these individuals are more likely to experience negative emotions, such as anger, frustration, or hostility. Forth, this negative emotions lead to aggression and as a result, this is more likely to induce counterproductive work behaviors such as theft, sabotage, interpersonal aggression, work slowdowns, wasting time and materials, and spreading rumors. Thus, narcissism is another individual difference variable that may be an important factor in determining counterproductive work behaviors, particularly under conditions perceived to be difficult or stressful.
