  • Almost all injection molds have multi-cavity runner system for productivity and are designed with geometrically balanced runner system in order to minimize filling imbalance between cavity to cavity during processing. However, filling imbalances have been observed though geometrically balanced runner lay-out are used. Generally, these filling imbalances are due to thermal unbalance, viscosity, characteristic of polymers and so on. These kinds of filling imbalances has already been reported by Beaumont[1] since 1997. In this study, we presented filling imbalaces in balanced runner that has unnary branch type lay-out through experimental tests.   • The process of Lay-out design and assembly for liquid rocket engine was presented and the Lay-out design for main components of liquid Rocket engine system was studied. Vertical direction is recommended in the case of turbopump's arrangement. If the length of pipe between gas-generator with turbopump's turbine is shorter, gas-generator is stable. The arrangements of main valves are recommended as near disposition to combustion chamber, because shut-down process time is shorter. Interference with launch vehicle and structural strength considering gimbal actuator's force and control performance is considered in the case of gimbal actuator's supporter design.

  • 본 논문에서는 HEV배터리의 Lay-Out 변화의 형상 및 개수와 위치 변화에 따른 냉각 특성에 관하여 연구 하였다. Lay-Out의 형상과 위치 변화에 따른 온도, 압력, 속도를 분석 하였고, 1가지 기본 형상을 기준으로 2가지 형상 변화를 통하여 온도, 압력, 속도를 비교해 보았다. 사각형의 입, 출구의 위치의 개수 추가 했을 때 온도강하가 일어나는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 입구 형상을 원으로 하고 위치변화와 개수를 변화 하였을 때 사각형의 입구 보다 더 좋은 온도강하의 결과를 도출해 낼 수 있었다.

  • 초등학교 학교도서관은 기본적으로 교육 및 정보를 전달하는 장소이기 때문에 교사와 학생의 이용 편의성을 높이고 교사의 업무를 효과적으로 지원 할 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다. 일반적으로 공간 구성은 세부 공간 간의 기능을 잘 연결할 수 있도록 공간과 가구의 경제적 배치(LAYOUT)가 주된 목적이다. 따라서 공간과 가구를 잘 배치하여 이용자가 편리하고 교육효과를 높이기 위해서는 초등학교 학교도서관의 기능공간의 배치유형을 조사 분석하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 측면에서 학교도서관의 전문화, 다원화, 개성화 하여야하는 목적과 교육환경 및 사회변화에 능동적으로 대처하고자 초등학교 도서관의 사용자인 학생 측면에서 현황을 파악하고 공간의 점유 특성을 분석하였으며 초등학교 도서관 계획시 보다 효율적인 공간계획이 이루어지도록 하였다.

CFRP 복합재의 적층방향에 대한 마찰 및 마모 특성 (Friction and Wear Characteristics of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites against Lay-up Orientation)

  • This paper is the study on dry sliding wear behavior of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy matrix composites against lay-up orientation. Tests were investigated on the effect of the lay-up orientation, fiber sliding direction, load and sliding velocity when circumstance keep continuously at $21^{\circ}C$, 60%RH. Pin-on-disk dry sliding wear tests for each experimental condition were carried out with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic pin on stainless steel disk in order to search the friction and wear characteristics. The wear rates and friction coefficients against the stainless steel counterpart were experimentally determined and the wear mechanisms were microscopically observed. The effect on friction and wear behavior are observed differently, according to various conditions. When sliding took place against counterpart, the highest wear resistance and the lowest friction coefficient were observed in the $[0]_{24s}$ lay-up orientation at anti-parallel direction.

괴산 김항묵 고택의 풍수고찰 (A Study on the Pungsu of Gim, Hang Mug's Traditional House in Goesan)

  • Pungsu theory is one of the main factor influenced on the traditional village and house in Korea. Regarding the fact that a real effect of pungsu on the formation of traditional village and house, Study with a view of Pungsu theory could be a good method for deeply understanding the traditional architecture in Korea. In this context, this study analyzes the Gim, Hang Mug's house which is designated no. 136 as an important folk cultural heritage, located in 20, Chilseong-ro $4^{th}$ street, Chilseong-myon, Goesan-gun Chungbuk province. The analysis of the site and space lay-out is carried out by Yong(Dragon), Hyoel(Auspicious Spot), Sa(Sands), Su(Water) aspects of the Pungsu(Fengshui) Hyungsei-ron. Through the study, I find that there are many efforts to preserve the auspicious energy and minimize the negative influence from the transformed process from the early lay out of house to upper class residence having many attached buildings by laying out buildings after carefully observing and analyzing surrounding geographical features according to Pungsu theory.

  • Parametric modeling and configuration design method are a important methods for rapid design in manufacturing. This paper proposes a relation rules which parametrically models a bonnet trimming tool based on Pro/Engineer. The concept of desogn is applied a trimming die of the bonnet outer panel. Trimming die have a many parameters. Each a parameter is related the die face and punch profile. A design system consists of a Pro/Engineer, a Pro/program.

  • 본 연구 에서는 고해상도 우주용 카메라의 경통부의 복합재 적층설계를 열환경 및 흡습에 의한 영향을 고려하여 수행하고 다층 지그재그이론에 기초하여 개발된 삼각형 유한요소를 이용 열흡 습 해석을 수행하여 융단도표를 통하여 도출된 최적 적층설계가 광학성능 허용범위를 만족하는지 검증 하였다.

해저관로의 대변형 굽힘에 의한 소성 모멘트 추정 (Estimation of Plastic Bending Moment of Offshore Pipelines)

  • The reel-lay method of submarine pipelines a continuous string of pipe coiled onto a reel. Assembly of this pipe that is string is accomplished onshore by welding, and nondestructive testing is carried out prior to coiling the pipe. The total length of pipes on the reel depends on the reel and pipe diameters. Pipeline installation is accomplished by uncoiling, straightening the pipe, and laying out the pipe string onto the seabed as the barge moves forward. Installation associated with coiling and uncoiling is related to the bending moment and strain relationship of the pipeline, A highgrade pipe material is required when the reel-lay method is used. This paper is concerned with the highly plastic bending moment of the pipeline, including the effect of ovality. Moment calculation in the pipe is accomplished by the numerical method, including the variable ovalities during the plastic bending of the pipe string. The new calculation method of the high plastic bending moment was applied to the reel-lay method.
