보행 시 Wedged 인솔과 보행진행 각이 슬관절 외측 밀림(Lateral Thrust)에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Wedged Insole and Foot Progression Angle on Lateral Thrust of Knee During Walking)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of wedged insole and foot progression angle (FPG) on lateral thrust of knee in healthy subjects. Fifteen healthy male subjects were recruited from Suncheon First College, in Suncheon. The subjects randomly walked at the comfortable velocity under five conditions: bare footed, medio-lateral $10^{\circ}$ wedged insoles, toe-in and toe-out gait. The lateral thrust was measured by a accelerometer with telemeter during walking. Data was collected while each subject walked for about 10 gait cycle on a flat, level walkway at their normal speed. The middle three gait cycle were used for averaged peak value of lateral acceleration. The three averaged peak value of lateral acceleration were collected under each condition at heel strike. The results showed that averaged peak value of lateral acceleration increased significantly in medial wedged insole and toe-in gait and decreased significantly in lateral wedged insole and toe-out gait as compared with bare footed (p<.05). These results suggest that wedged insole as well as walking strategy, such as foot progression angle, may prevent progression of degenerative knee osteoarthritis.

차체 틸팅에 따를 전복안전도 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Overturning Safefy for a Tilting Train by Carbody Tilting)

  • In this study, overturning safety for a tilting train has been evaluated. In the tilting train, the overturning safety is one of the most important factors because the carbody inclines inward a curve during curve negotiation. Dynamic analysis considering unbalanced lateral acceleration and carbody tilting has been carried out and the overturning safety for the tilting train has been evaluated according to height of CG of carbody. From these studies, the overturning safety for the tilting train under unbalanced lateral acceleration of $2m/s^2$ was superior to the conventional one at the same running speed.

  • This paper presents extended state feedback control based on impulse response for lane change of autonomous driving vehicle. The triple characteristic root of path tracking system and longitudinal velocity determine feedback gains. We suggest a resemblance of impulse response curve of the system and lane change trajectory of the vehicle. The root affects the duration of lane change and lateral acceleration. The effect of limited lateral acceleration and saturation of steering angle will be analyzed and discussed. Finally, simulation results will show the trajectory of lane change based on impulse response under limitation of lateral acceleration.

실측데이터에 의한 완화곡선 승차감 평가 (Analysis of Comfort on Transition Curve based on the Measured Data)

  • 완화곡선구간은 직선과 곡선사이에 설치되는 구간이며, 곡선반경 및 캔트 등의 선형변화에 따라 차량의 횡방향 가속도, 횡방향 저크 및 롤속도의 변화가 발생하여 차량주행안전성 및 승차감 측면에서 취약구간이 된다. 본 논문에서는 철도차량의 차체횡가속도와 롤속도의 계측결과를 이용하여 완화곡선 구간의 승차감을 정량적으로 산정하였으며, 승차감 평가기법은 EN규격에서 제시하는 완화곡선 구간의 승차감 평가방법을 사용하였다. 평가결과로 부터 통하여 국내 일반철도 노선의 완화곡선구간 승차감의 분포특성을 조사하였으며, 곡선반경 크기와 차량 속도가 완화곡선 구간의 승차감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 캔트 시간변화율과 완화곡선 승차감의 관계를 분석하였다.

변형률 데이터를 이용한 철골모멘트골조의 횡응답 예측을 위한 해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study to Estimate the Lateral Responses of Steel Moment Frames Using Strain Data)

  • 본 연구는 철골모멘트골조를 대상으로 변형률 기반 횡응답 예측 기법 제시한다. 기둥의 변형률 데이터를 이용하여 건물레벨의 횡응답을 예측한다. 변형률 데이터는 한 개의 기둥 당 총 4개의 변형률 센서가 설치된다고 가정하여 기둥의 양 단부의 변형률 응답 값을 이용한다. 양단부의 변형률 값을 통해 단부의 휨모멘트를 계산하고 이를 처짐각법에 적용하면 건물레벨의 횡응답을 예측할 수 있다. 또한 한 개층에 설치된 가속도계의 응답을 이용하여 지점에 위치한 회전스프링의 강성값을 예측하였다. 제시한 기법은 5층 1경간 철골모멘트골조 예제에 적용하여 그것의 신뢰성를 검증하였다. 횡변위 및 횡가속도에 대한 예측 응답이 비교값과 일치하는 결과를 얻었으며, 손상 여부 및 위치를 파악하는데 효과적임을 확인하였다. 반면 고유주기와 같은 동특성은 구조물의 손상을 파악하는데 한계가 있음을 확인하였다.

보행 시 무릎관절 내번토크에 미치는 후족왯지의 영향 (Effects of a Heel Wedge on the Knee Varus Torque During Walking)

  • 본 연구에서는 경사각도가 다른 내, 외측 후족 왯지를 착용하고 보행하는 동안 삼차원 동작분석시스템과 무선가속도측정시스템을 이용하여 무릎관절의 내번토크와 내외측 방향 가속도를 측정하였다. 내번토크와 외측 가속도는 하중수용기와 전유각기에서 각각 양의 절정값을 나타내었다. 하중수용기에 내측 왯지의 경우 내번토크와 외측 가속도가 맨발에 비하여 증가되었으며, 외측 왯지의 경우 내번토크와 외측 가속도값이 감소하였다. (p<0.05). 이러한 변화는 왯지의 경사각이 커질수록 더욱 뚜렷한 상관성을 보였다(p<0.05). 그러나 전유각기에서는 왯지의 방향과 경사에 따른 무릎의 내번토크와 내외측 가속도의 상관성을 확인할 수 없었다. 본 연구의 견과를 통하여 외측 왯지 사용 시 무릎관절의 내번토크가 감소되어 퇴행성 무릎관절염의 치료에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 또한, 보행 중 무릎관절의 내번토크 대신에 외측방향 가속도를 측정함으로써 간단히 왯지의 효과를 결정할 수 있을 것이다.

불규칙 파랑 중 선체 동요 평가에 관한 연구 (A study on evaluation of ship motion in irregular waves)

  • In this paper, the results of evaluating the passenger comfort due to the standard deviation of acceleration in vertical and lateral direction regarding the ship response in irregular wave by ordinary strip method in regular wave and energy spectrum using linear superposition theory in order to evaluate the motion of experimental ship are as follows. According to the results of ship response, it was possible to find that, in order to reduce the motion of ship, a ship operating in bow sea was more stable than in quartering sea. In the results of analyzing the standard deviation of acceleration in vertical direction according to each component wave pattern, when there was a wave length of 56m and an average wave period of 6 sec, most of cases showed the peak value. And among them, the standard deviation was 0.35 which was the highest in head sea. And in case of lateral direction, the maximum value was shown in a wave length of 100m and an average wave period of 8 sec. And it was 0.16 in beam sea and ${\chi}=150^{\circ}$. In the evaluation of passenger comfort due to standard acceleration in vertical and lateral direction, it was 80% in head and bow sea. On the other hand, it was shown to be 15% in follow sea. Accordingly, when the expected wave height in a sea area where a training ship was intended to operate was known, it was possible to predict the routing of ship. And altering her course could reduce the passenger comfort by approximately 50%.

차량 궤적 추정을 통한 운행 안전 모니터링 기법 (Method for Maneuver Monitoring with Vehicle Trajectory Reconstruction)

  • In this paper, we proposed a method for vehicle monitoring with trajectory reconstruction. For safety, it is important to monitor the driving habit of driver. Every year, many accidents occur due to the reckless driving of the driver. Continuous monitoring of the status of commercial vehicles is needed for safety through the entire path from start point to the destination. To monitor the reckless driving, we try to monitor the trajectory of the vehicle by using vehicle's lateral acceleration data. Compared with steering angle and lateral acceleration, these resemble each other. So, we find the relationship of steering angle and acceleration, and find the global direction of vehicle. We find the position of non-GPS section with EKF (External Kalman Filter) and reconstruct the whole trajectory during vehicle driving.

  • This paper presents roll angle estimator which used Kalman filter. Recently, the uses of the ELSD (Electronic Limited Slip Differential) and TVD(Torque Vectoring Differential) for vehicle yaw control are studied in many researches. However the roll angle can be negative effect of ELSD and TVD control. Therefore the information of roll angle can be used for vehicle yaw control. Moreover it can be used for rollover prevent control. Recently, most of the vehicles use lateral acceleration and yaw rate sensor. In this paper, design of Kalman filter which used lateral acceleration and yaw rate information is developed. In this paper, in order to verify the estimator ability, the CarSim and Matlab/Simulink are used.

대형트럭 프레임의 결합방법이 조종성능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Mounted Method of Frame of a Large Truck on Handling Performance)

  • This paper develops a computer model of a cabover type large truck for estimating the effects of the mounted method of frame on handling performance. The computer model considers two mounted methods of frame; flange mounted and web mounted. Frame is modeled by finite elements using MSC/NASTRAN in order to consider the flexibility of frame. The reliability of the developed computer model is verified by comparing the actual vehicle test results with the simulation results. The actual vehicle test is performed in a double lane change course, and lateral acceleration, yaw rate, and roll angle are measured. To estimate the effects of the mounted method of frame on handling performance, simulations are performed with the flange mounted and web mounted frame. Simulation results show that the web mounted frame's variations of roll angle, lateral acceleration, and yaw rate are larger than the flange mounted frame's variations, especially in the high test velocity and the second part of the double lane course. Also, simulation results show that the web mounted frame's tendencies of roll angle, lateral acceleration, and yaw rate advance the flange mounted frame's tendencies, especially in the high test velocity and the second part of the double lane course.
