3대 만성질환자의 지역별 의료비 분석 (Cost of Illness of Chronic Disease by Region in Korea)

  • Background: With the recent aging of the population, the transition to a disease structure centered on chronic diseases is accelerating. Moreover, the socio-economic gap and the polarization of the health gap between regions further increase the burden of disease on the country. Accordingly, this study calculated the disease cost of hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, which are the three major chronic diseases, to establish an effective health promotion policy strategy for each region, and analyzed the gap in disease cost within the region to determine health determinants at the individual as well as the regional level. Methods: This study utilized data from the 2015 sample cohort of the National Health Insurance Service and calculated the disease cost of patients (diabetes: I10-I15, hypertension: E10-E14, hyperlipidemia: E78) based on the main diagnosis. Results: Based on our analysis, the case of medical use in cities and provinces was higher than in metropolitan cities, with relatively small medical use in Seoul and Gangwon-do. In terms of the disease cost, the cost of chronic diseases in Seoul and Jeju was the highest, but the difference in disease cost between patients in each region was the largest in Seoul and Gangwon-do. Conclusion: The results of this study provide meaningful data for implementing efficient health promotion policies by analyzing the differences in disease cost and identifying health determinants in different regions. Furthermore, in Korea, where socioeconomic differences are clearly revealed, it can be used as a basis for preparing a strategic plan, from a long-term perspective, to improve the health of patients with chronic diseases in the future.

부동산소득이 지역별 가구 소득불평등에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on Effect of Property Income on Income Inequality)

  • 본 연구는 한국노동패널을 이용하여 지니계수를 분해와 패널분석을 통해 부동산소득이 가구 소득불평등에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하였다. 공간적 범위를 전국, 수도권, 비수도권으로 나누었고 글로벌금융위기 전 후로 기간을 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 첫째, 전기간을 전국, 수도권, 비수도권으로 나누어 지니계수 분해를 이용해 소득 원천별로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 총소득에서 전국과 수도권은 부동산소득이 차지하는 절대적, 상대적 기여도가 가장 크게 나타난 반면 비수도권은 근로소득이 가장 크게 나타났다. 또한 전국과 수도권은 부동산소득이 가구 소득불평등을 가장 심화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 금융위기 이후기간이 이전기간에 비해 가구 소득불평등에 부동산소득이 영향을 덜 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 글로벌금융위기 이전에는 부동산가격이 급등을 하여 가구 소득불평등을 심화시켰으나 이후기간에는 가격하락으로 수익성이 악화돼 일시적으로 약화된 것으로 판단된다. 셋째, 상관관계분석에서 가구주 연령이 높고 고졸미만의 학력의 가구는 다른 가구에 비해 가구총소득이 낮을 것이며, 원천별 소득 특히 근로소득이 높을수록 가구 총소득이 상대적으로 높았다. 넷째, 수도권과 비수도권 지역으로 구분한 가구소득 결정요인을 패널분석한 결과를 비교하면 근로소득, 금융소득과 기타소득의 영향은 비수도권지역이 수도권지역에 비해 높은 반면 부동산소득의 영향은 수도권지역이 비수도권지역에 비해 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 정부는 소득불평등을 줄이기 위해서 고소득층에 세금을 강화하고 저소득층에 대한 세금 감면을 할 수 있는 정책적 배려가 필요하며 다양한 일자리 창출을 위한 노력을 기울여야 한다. 또한 자산보유를 통해 창출하는 소득의 비중이 높아질수록 소득불평등이 악화하는 경향이 있는 만큼 부동산가격 안정화에 중점을 두면서 지역별 차별성을 두고 정책을 수립 집행할 필요성이 있다.

Cloning and Characterization of GL-7-ACA Acylase Gene from Pseudomonas sp. GK16

  • The gene coding for glutaryl-7-aminocephalosporanic acid (GL-7-ACA) acylase was cloned from Pseudomonas sp. GK16 and some of its characteristics were analyzed. The complete nucleotide sequence revealed that the putative open reading frame is 2160 bases long and encodes 720 amino acids. By SDS-PAGE three proteins, approximately corresponding to 70, 54 and 16 kDa of molecular weight, were detected in E. coli cells carrying pGAP18. The largest protein should be a precursor which is not processed yet, while the other two proteins must be derived from the precursor by the proteolytic processing.

치면열구 전쇄재의 미세누출에 관한 자가방사법적 연구 (AN AUTORADIOGRAPHIC STUDY OF THE MICROLEAKAGE AROUND A PIT AND FIGURE SEALANT)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the microleakage of a pit and fissure sealant at the tooth-restoration interface. One hundred and sixty-seven extracted permanent and deciduous teeth were used and some simple mechanical pretreatment were done before etching. The degree of microleakage was assessed by $Ca^{45}$ after 24 hours, and 2 months. The results were as follows: 1. Among total 167 teeth, 53 teeth (32%) were demonstrated the microleakage. 2. After 2 months the leakage was increased from 22 percent to 35 percent in permanent teeth, and from 32 percent to 43 percent in primary teeth. 3. The group treated by fluoride paste was demonstrated the largest leakage, 50 percent in primary teeth and 33 percent in permanent teeth. There are more leakage in primary teeth (38%) than permanent teeth (28%).

Harmonic Suppression and Broadening Bandwidth of Band Pass Filter Using Aperture and Photonic Band Gap Structure

  • In this paper, we introduced a band-pass filter employed the PBG structure and the aperture on the ground together. The harmonics of band pass filter have been suppressed by employing the PBG structure and the bandwidth of it has been broadened by using the aperture on the ground. The designed PBG cells have three different sizes. The largest cells, the middle cells, and the smallest cells have suppressed the multiple of second harmonics, the multiple of third harmonics, and the multiple of fifth harmonics, respectively. The center frequency has been 2.18 GHz. The bandwidth has been increased from 230 MHz up to 310 MHz(80 MHz, about $35\%$) by the aperture and the ripple characteristics in passband have been improved and the harmonic frequencies have been suppressed about 30 dB by the PBG.

저주기 피로부하에서 F82H 강 TIG 용접 접합부의 피로손상거동 (Fatigue Damage Behavior in TIG Welded Joint of F82H Steel under Low Cycle Fatigue Loading)

  • Reduced activation ferritic/martensitic steels are recognized as the primary candidate structural materials for fusion blanket systems. Welding is an inevitable for breeding blanket for pressure tightness and radioisotope confinement. Especially, TIG welding was chosen for sealing because it has the largest gap allowance compared to the other welding methods, and its properties are controllable by feed wire and welding conditions. In this study, the low cycle fatigue test using two-type gage such as extensometer and strain gage was applied to the TIG welded joint of F82H steel, for evaluating fatigue damage accumulation behavior of the HAZs. As the result, the over-tempered HAZ have shown a higher fatigue damage accumulation compared with other materials at all the testing conditions.

반발식 자기부상열차의 정특성해석 (Static Characteristics of Electrodynamic Maglev System)

  • This paper deals with the combined levitation and guidance EDS(Electrodynamic Suspension) Maglev system. Levitation and guidance forces generated in figured-of-eight coil are examined. End effect of Superconducting magnets is considered in that the air gap flux has been calculated using the finite number of magnets. Induced emfs and currents of ground coils are given as results. Eletromagnetic forces vary according to the built-in position of magnets. Levitation forces of the first magnet pair are the smellest and those of the second one are the largest. This result shows that the end effect of SCMs should be considered in a concentrated magnet system.

Improving Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae culture medium by a comparative transcriptome method

  • Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae (Mo) is difficult to culture, resulting in many difficulties in related research and application. Since nucleotide metabolism is a basic metabolism affects growth, this study conducted a "point-to-point" comparison of the corresponding growth phases between the Mo NM151 strain and the Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri (Mmc) PG3 strain. The results showed that the largest difference in nucleotide metabolism was found in the stationary phase. Nucleotide synthesis in PG3 was mostly de novo, while nucleotide synthesis in NM151 was primarily based on salvage synthesis. Compared with PG3, the missing reactions of NM151 referred to the synthesis of deoxythymine monophosphate. We proposed and validated a culture medium with added serine to fill this gap and prolong the stationary phase of NM151. This solved the problem of the fast death of Mo, which is significant for related research and application.

기능성 화장품에 대한 소비자 인지도와 선호도 조사 (Investigation of Consumers' Knowledge and Preference towards Functional Cosmetics)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate consumers' knowledge and preference towards functional cosmetics. Through the beauty advisors' surveys, their own selling styles and consumer behaviors recognized by beauty advisors were analyzed. It was intended to help extend and strengthen the functional cosmetic market which has continued to grow rapidly since the approved goods under cosmetic law in 2001. For this study, the data was collected through questionnaires the professional consumer counselors confirmed from Korean women over the age. of twenty old living in the Seoul and Kyoungki areas. After pre-research was implemented on 45 women, 328 samples were analyzed as final samples. In addition,46 samples, which were collected through the questionnaires from beauty advisors were analyzed. Samples were analyzed by frequency, percentage, T-test, ANOVA using the SPSS program. The results of study were as follows: First consumers recognized whether functional cosmetics or not. According to the beauty advisor's surveys, consumers regard the functional cosmetic boundary as being wider than real functional cosmetic boundary according to cosmetic law. So, there is a gap between consumers' opinions and real law. Second, regarding the purchasing channels, the largest channel is the cosmetic store. As far as consumers are concerned the most important factor when buying cosmetics, is the suitability of their own skin types. The second factor is product quality and the third factor is price. Functional cosmetics non-experienced group are more concerned with price compared to experienced group. Related to purchasing products, functional cosmetics experienced group buy set products compared to non-experienced group buy one product. Third, the ultraviolet filter cosmetics portion is the largest in the functional cosmetics market the second largest portion is bleaching cosmetics and the third largest portion is the anti-senility cosmetics. However, Most preferred by consumers is the anti-senility cosmetics. Moreover, preference for ultraviolet filter cosmetics is the least. Finally, the level of satisfaction for functional cosmetics is high and dissatisfaction is low. Consumers feel that beauty advisors are simply pushing high priced products without recognizing the consumers' real needs. In conclusion, to develop the functional cosmetic market continually in the future, it needs to extend various products and advertise them until consumers are more aware.

아시아에서 서식하는 등줄쥐, Apodemus agrarius Pallas(설치목, 포유강) 8개 아종의 형태적 형질들을 사용한 다변량 분석 : 한국의 제주도의 아종 chejuenesis 의 분류학적 위치 (Morphometric Anlayses with Eight Subspecies of Striped Field Mice, Apodemus agrarius Pallas (Rodentia , Mammalia) , in Asia : The Taxonomic Status of Subspecies chejuensis at Cheju island in Korea)

  • 한국의 제주도에 서식하고 있는 등줄쥐의 한 아종인 Apodemus agrarius chejuensis의 분류학적 위치의 파악을 위하여, 아시아에 서식하는 등줄쥐중에 터키,중국,대만,만주 및 한국에서 채칩된 8아종(agrarius, ningpoensis, pallidior, chevrieri, insulaemus, manchuricus, coreae 및 chejuensis), 311마리의 표본들을 사용하였다. 4개 외부형질과 27개 두골형질들을 측정하였고 cluster, principal components 및 discriminant 분석등의 다변량분석을 수행하였다. 4개형(form)으로 나뉘어졌는데, chejuensis는 가장 큰 형이었고, 큰 형인 chevrieri는 Wang(1985)에 의하여 종으로도 기술된 바가 있다. 중간 크기의 형과 작은 크기의 형은 각각 coreae와 나머지 5개 아종(agrarius, ningpoensis, pallidior, in-sulaemus 및 manchuricus)이었으며, 연속적 변이를 나타냈다. 제주도의 chejuensis(가장 큰 형)는 등줄쥐의 다른 6개 아종(중간과 작은 크기의 형들)과 형태적 형질에 있어서 불연속적 차이를 보였으므로 신종으로 판단되지만, 신종으로서의 기재를 위해서는 연구가 더 필요하다고 결론지었다.
