Purpose: In this study, we aim to provide primary source of data for developing a learning program that enhances the students' learning by critically analyzing and adopting the effective class participation factors of the students. Methods: A questionnaire survey has been conducted from the beginning of May to the end of October, 2017. Subjects of the survey was the dental technology students living in W-city et al by random sampling method along with written informed consent. Out of 630 distributed questionnaires, 584 results were used for our analysis. Results: Firstly, the average score of the class participation of all the subjects was 3.08 points out of 5.0, which was broken down into class activity (3.53 points), passion about class (3.51 points), communication factors (2.88 points), class preparation (2.77 points), class extension (2.76 points). Secondly, statistically significant correlations were found between class participation and class satisfaction as shown in (p<.01). Class participation factors that affect the class satisfaction were class preparation(p<.001), class activities(p<.001), passion about class(p<.001), which reveals positive and meaningful results. Explanatory power of the model turned out 50.3%. Conclusion : Considering that class preparation, class activities, and passion about class played a key role in class satisfaction of the student, teachers need to be open minded to reflect the learners' personalized demands and needs in preparing and managing their class. Additionally should be in tandem that provides the students with various routes of class participation.
Objective: To compare the positions of the mandibular premolars in Angle Class I subjects according to vertical facial type. The results will provide a theoretical basis for predicting effective tooth movement in orthodontic treatment. Methods: Cephalometric parameters were determined using cone-beam computed tomography in 120 Angle Class I subjects. Subjects were categorized as short, normal, and long face types according to the Frankfort mandibular angle. Parameters indicating the position of the mandibular right premolars and the mandible were also measured. Results: The angle between the mandibular first premolar axis and buccal cortex, the distance between the root apex and buccal cortex, angle of vestibularization, arc of vestibularization, and root apex maximum movable distance were significantly greater in the short face type than in the long and norm face types. The angle between the mandibular second premolar axis and buccal cortex, the distance from root apex to buccal cortex, and the arc of vestibularization were significantly greater in the short face type than in the normal face type. Conclusions: There are significant differences in the mandibular premolar positions in Class I subjects according to vertical facial type.
A 5 kW class SOFC system for cogeneration power units was consisted of a hot box part and cold BOPs. High temperature components such as a stack, a fuel reformer, a catalytic combustor, and heat exchanges are arranged in the bot box considering their operating temperatures for the system efficiency. The hot box was made of ceramic boards for the thermal insulation. A 5 kW class SOFC stack was composed of 2 sub-modules and each module had 64 cells with $15{\times}15cm^2$ area and stainless steel interconnects. The 5 kW class SOFC system was operated with a hydrogen and a city gas. With a hydrogen, the total power of the stacks was about 7.1 kWDC and electrical efficiency was about 49.3% at 80 A. With a city gas, the total power of the stacks was about 5.7 $kW_{DC}$ and electrical efficiency was about 38.8% at 60 A. Under self-sustained operating condition, the system efficiency including a power conditioning loss and a consumed power by BOPs was about 30.2%.
Currently an automated methodology based on data mining techniques is presented for the prediction of customer load patterns in long duration load profiles. The proposed our approach consists of three stages: (i) data pre-processing: noise or outlier is removed and the continuous attribute-valued features are transformed to discrete values, (ii) cluster analysis: k-means clustering is used to create load pattern classes and the representative load profiles for each class and (iii) classification: we evaluated several supervised learning methods in order to select a suitable prediction method. According to the proposed methodology, power load measured from AMR (automatic meter reading) system, as well as customer indexes, were used as inputs for clustering. The output of clustering was the classification of representative load profiles (or classes). In order to evaluate the result of forecasting load patterns, the several classification methods were applied on a set of high voltage customers of the Korea power system and derived class labels from clustering and other features are used as input to produce classifiers. Lastly, the result of our experiments was presented.

To elucidate the roles of cysteine residues in rice Phi-class GST F3, in this study, all three cysteine residues were replaced with alanine by site-directed mutagenesis in order to obtain mutants C22A, C73A and C77A. Three mutant enzymes were expressed in Escherichia coli and purified to electrophoretic homogeneity by affinity chromatography on immobilized GSH. The substitutions of Cys73 and Cys77 residues in OsGSTF3 with alanine did not affect the glutathione conjugation activities, showing non-essentiality of these residues. On the other hand, the substitution of Cys22 residue with alanine resulted in approximately a 60% loss of specific activity toward ethacrynic acid. Moreover, the ${K_m}^{CDNB}$ value of the mutant C22A was approximately 2.2 fold larger than that of the wild type. From these results, the evolutionally conserved cysteine 22 residue seems to participate rather in the structural stability of the active site in OsGSTF3 by stabilizing the electrophilic substrates-binding site's conformation than in the substrate binding directly.
Aim of this research is suggesting a satisfied studying space for lecturer, student and curriculum by abstraction of improvement plan which based on investigation and analysis of the space that teacher is using in lecturer and study support facility in school which managed in 'Department system'. This research focused on analyse of teacher's laboratory, teacher's room, and common room in middle and high school which managed and designed by 'Department system' and registered on 'Seoul office of education' and designed in management of department system between 2009 and 2012. With these process, a conclusion of this research is as in the following. Firstly, plan of teachers' private place which is efficient and stable is required through to get out of module which can cover subject band and grade band. Secondly, we have to focus on size of teachers' convenience facilities for convenience or official usage, movement radius, and improvement of working environments. Thirdly, 'Subject type teachers' laboratory' which organized by teachers who teach same subject is more efficient than 'Task type laboratory' which organized by teachers who working on same task for management of school. In fourth, 'Task type teachers' laboratory' arranged regardless with teachers' class room to teach, and it makes lack of connectivity between teacher and class room.

Objective: To investigate differences in the heritability of skeletodental characteristics between twin pairs with skeletal Class I and Class II malocclusions. Methods: Forty Korean adult twin pairs were divided into Class I (C-I) group (0° ≤ angle between point A, nasion, and point B [ANB]) ≤ 4°; mean age, 40.7 years) and Class II (C-II) group (ANB > 4°; mean age, 43.0 years). Each group comprised 14 monozygotic and 6 dizygotic twin pairs. Thirty-three cephalometric variables were measured using lateral cephalograms and were categorized as the anteroposterior, vertical, dental, mandible, and cranial base characteristics. The ACE model was used to calculate heritability (A > 0.7, high heritability). Thereafter, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed. Results: Twin pairs in C-I group exhibited high heritability values in the facial anteroposterior characteristics, inclination of the maxillary and mandibular incisors, mandibular body length, and cranial base angles. Twin pairs in C-II group showed high heritability values in vertical facial height, ramus height, effective mandibular length, and cranial base length. PCA extracted eight components with 88.3% in the C-I group and seven components with 91.0% cumulative explanation in the C-II group. Conclusions: Differences in the heritability of skeletodental characteristics between twin pairs with skeletal Class I and II malocclusions might provide valuable information for growth prediction and treatment planning.
The purpose of this study was to analyze of how the elementary school teachers lead their classes of a science laboratory instruction and an engineering laboratory instruction in a science subject class. For this study, science laboratory and engineering laboratory lessons were selected and for each science and engineering laboratory lesson, five elementary school teachers were video-recorded of their lessons. The science and engineering laboratory lessons were analyzed by utilizing processes of the science model and the engineering model based on Schauble et al. (1991). The results of these studies are as follows: In science laboratory instruction, some participants didn't distinguish the difference between the science laboratory goal and the engineering laboratory goal. All of participants used search and end strategy of engineering laboratory for science laboratory lesson. In engineering laboratory instruction, all of participants guided to students engineering laboratory goal and used inferences and search strategy of engineering laboratory. However they didn't use the trial and error strategy or redesign which can be an essential element in engineering and design process. Educational implications are discussed.
This letter presents a power efficient 64-state Viterbi decoder (VD) employing a two-stage radix-4 add-compare-select architecture. A class of VD architectures is implemented, and their hardware complexity, maximum operating speed, and power consumption are compared. Implementation results show that the proposed VD architecture is suitable for multiband orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MB-OFDM) ultra-wideband (UWB) systems, which can support the data rate of 480 Mbps even when implemented using 0.18-${\mu}m$ CMOS technology.
