초임부의 출산 준비교육 프로그램의 효과 비교 - 불안과 분만자신감을 중심으로 (Comparison of Prenatal Education Programs for the Primigravida - Focus ed on Anxiety and Labor Efficacy)

  • Purpose: This study was done to compare prenatal education programs for anxiety and labor efficacy in third trimester women. Method: The subjects were 95 primigravida who attended a prenatal education program at H and B hospital in Kyounggi province and a health center in Chungbuk province and in the Incheon metropolitan area. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire, and trait and state anxiety, and labor efficacy were measured. The data was analyzed by frequency, mean, and paired t-test. Result: In this study, there was a high level of anxiety in the primigravida. After the program, only state anxiety was decreased significantly at the attendants of the health center. Labor efficacy was a little increased, but this was not significant. Anxiety was increased and labor efficacy was decreased in the attendant of a private hospital. Conclusion: These education programs were not so effective to decrease anxiety and to increase labor efficacy. For on effective program to increase labor efficacy, it is necessary to standardize prenatal education program content and to revise it to decrease state anxiety closer to delivery. It is necessary to discover why these programs were not effective.

경력단절 여성의 노동시장 재진입 욕구형태에 따른 진로행동 분석 (Analysis of Career Behaviors on the Women's Second Labor Market Transition)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze career behaviors(job exploration, job hunting) of the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. To obtain this objective 501 women, who quitted their job in 780 women randomly sampling completed questionnaire. To analyze data, $x^2$, ANOVA were executed. Research results were explained, there were no difference career behaviors, experience of career counseling, experience of career education, aspiration of career behaviors by the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. But, there were difference motivation of labor market entry, career barriers, preference of occupations, level of job competence of career behaviors by the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. The implications of the results on women's second labor market transition of developing career education and counseling programs were discussed and finally suggestions for further study were made.

조기진통 사정 알고리즘은 실습 시 조기진통 관련 지식, 임상수행자신감, 교육만족도에 유효한가?: 유사실험 연구 (Does a preterm labor-assessment algorithm improve preterm labor-related knowledge, clinical practice confidence, and educational satisfaction?: a quasi-experimental study)

  • Purpose: Preterm birth is increasing, and obstetric nurses should have the competency to provide timely care. Therefore, training is necessary in the maternal nursing practicum. This study aimed to investigate the effects of practice education using a preterm-labor assessment algorithm on preterm labor-related knowledge and clinical practice confidence in senior nursing students. Methods: A pre-post quasi-experimental design with three groups was used for 61 students. The preterm-labor assessment algorithm was modified into three modules from the preterm-labor assessment algorithm by March of Dimes. We evaluated preterm labor-related knowledge, clinical practice confidence, and educational satisfaction. Data were analyzed with the paired t-test and repeated-measures analysis of variance. Results: The practice education using a preterm-labor assessment algorithm significantly improved both preterm labor-related knowledge and clinical practice confidence (paired t=-7.17, p<.001; paired t=-5.51, p<.001, respectively). The effects of the practice education using a preterm-labor assessment algorithm on knowledge lasted until 8 weeks but decreased significantly at 11 and 13 weeks after the program, while the clinical practice confidence significantly decreased at 8 weeks post-program. Conclusion: The practice education using a preterm-labor assessment algorithm was effective in improving preterm labor-related knowledge and clinical practice confidence. The findings suggest that follow-up education should be conducted at 8 weeks, or as soon as possible thereafter, to maintain knowledge and clinical confidence, and the effects should be evaluated.

  • This study contributes to the existing literature by empirically exploring the causes of child labor in the Indonesian labor market. Factors identified include rate of poverty, average wages, education participation, and quality of education. This study utilized an aggregate data of 301 districts and cities across 34 provinces sourced from the National Labor Force Survey and the National School/Madrasah Accreditation Board of the Republic of Indonesia. Using a multiple regression analysis, the study found strong evidence of the positive effect of poverty on child labor. Conversely, the study documented the adverse impact of average wages on child labor in Indonesia. Similarly, the participation in the education system also contributed negatively to the child labor. Finally, the quality of education services is found to have a negative effect on child labor in Indonesia. The findings of this study suggest that, in efforts to reduce the involvement of children in the workforce, the poverty eradication program should be enhanced. The wages should be continuously improved, at least, in par with the changes in prices. Finally, the quality of education and its services ought to be further enhanced to attract more child student participation rates across junior high schools nationwide.

항만기술인력의 교육제도 개선방안 (A Study on the Education System of Port Labor in Pusan Port)

  • The productivity of port labor in Pusan port is very low and the ratio of port accident is high in comparision with other advanced foreign ports. The aim of this paper is to find why the productivity in Pusan port is much lower than that of other countries in terms of port labor education systems. To obtain the objective of this study, the writers used 163 questionnaire for port labor in BCTOC, PECT and UTC for the survey of training method of cargo equipment handling. The result of this study shows as follows; (1) From the fact that ratio of labor who were trained by KPTI was 2.5%, we could say the public training system of port labor is not operated properly (2) As most of laborers are trained by the experienced associate, they do not recognize how the level of cargo handling equipment is set to increase the productivity. (3) In order that the port public training system plays a good role in port industry, a new license system should be introduced and an expert education system should be developed.

노동에 대한 수요가 교육에 대한 투자에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Demand for Labor On Investment in Education)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노동에 대한 수요가 구직자의 교육에 대한 결정에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 분석함에 있다. 혁신과 기술진보가 노동에 대한 수요를 줄이고 노동시장의 불확실성을 증대시키는 상황에서 본 연구는 노동자의 교육에 대한 투자가 노동에 대한 수요에 어떻게 의존하는가를 판단하는데 도움이 되는 이론적 구조를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노동에 대한 수요가 감소할수록 교육에 대한 수요는 일반적으로 증가한다. 하지만 이런 결과는 반드시 성립하는 것은 아니다. 둘째, 감소하는 노동에 대한 수요에 대하여 노동자가 교육에 대한 수요를 증가시키는 것은 노동자의 (애로우-프랏 절대위험기피계수로 측정한) 위험기피도가 어떤 수준을 상회하는 경우에만 성립한다. 셋째, 노동에 대한 수요가 감소하더라도 노동자에 대한 보수가 그의 교육에 대한 투자를 반영하지 않는 경우, 노동자는 오히려 교육에 대한 투자를 줄인다.

A Study on the Development of Educational Curriculum Model for Labor Manager's Empowerment : Focusing on NCS Labor Management Capability Unit

  • Purpose - The labor management department is an important area in charge of the labor-management relations that affects the competitiveness of the company. This study seeks to diagnose labor management education focusing on labor manager competency strengthening curriculum that is currently being conducted domestically and propose an educational model that can contribute to the labor manager competency development by researching improvement measures. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, the first phase is a Delphi open form survey and 15 expert panels participated. The second phase had 31 expert panels participating and in the final IPA analysis, targeting 111 on-site subjects, it conducted a survey regarding desired level of current educational level and future education requirement. Results - A final 57 subjects regarding 11 items to increase the competency of the labor managers through the first and second Delphi survey was deduced through this study. To add, regarding the current education level and desired level that the current workers are thinking with respect to analysis results of the 57 subjects through the IPA analysis, an educational model could be deduced to increase competency of the labor managers based on the result. Conclusions - Thus far, research regarding labor management has been insufficient as it was defined as a subordinate role to human resources. This study reviews the role and competency of labor managers and presented an educational model to strengthen the capabilities of internal labor managers to re-illuminate the labor manager. However, this study is limited in terms of the diversity of the types of companies participating and the small number of panels. Better data can be produced if such parts are supplemented in the future.

교육훈련투자가 생산성에 미치는 효과분석: 부산시 선도기업을 중심으로 (The Effects of Education and Training on Labor Productivity of the Leading Firms in Busan)

  • 본 연구는 2006년 부산광역시 선도기업을 대상으로 하여 교육훈련비가 기업의 노동생산성에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지에 대해 1999~2008년의 기업자료를 사용하여 고정효과모형 및 2SLS방법에 의해 실증분석한 논문이다. 1인당 교육훈련비로 측정한 교육훈련은 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 기업의 노동생산성에 양(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교육훈련의 효과성은 모든 기업에 동일하게 나타난다고 하기 보다는 기업특성에 따라 그 효과성에 차이가 존재할 개연성이 크므로 기업특성(기업규모, 산업분류)에 따른 차이를 분석한 결과, 대기업과 중소기업으로 구분한 기업규모는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 발견하지 못하였다. 반면에 산업분류와 관련한 분석에서는 서비스산업의 교육훈련 효과성이 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 타 산업에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 서비스산업에서의 교육훈련 프로그램의 보완이 시급하며 정책적인 지원을 통한 교육훈련분야의 다양화가 요구되는 근거가 된다고 할 수 있다.

아버지 학력과 노동시장 불평등 (Father's Education and Inequality in Korean Labor Market)

  • 이 논문에서는 아버지 학력이 개인의 교육투자에 미치는 영향을 살펴보며, 개인의 노동시장 성과를 (i)직업선택 (ii)노동력상태의 선택으로 설정한 후, 가족 배경(또는 가족의 재산 소득)의 대리변수로서의 아버지 학력이 본인의 학력수준과 본인의 노동시장 성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보게 된다. 아버지 학력은 본인의 교육수준에 상당한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 동시에 아버지 학력은 본인의 직업선택에도 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 Blau and Duncan, 방하남 김기헌의 연구 결과와 다르며, 이 분야에 새로운 기여가 된다. 또한 이 논문은 부모의 학력은 본인의 비경제활동인구화에의 경향성을 낳음을 보고한다. 따라서 교육, 직업선택을 통한 부모 재산 소득불평등의 대물림과 비경제활동인구화로 인하여, 부모의 재산 소득의 현재소비로의 유실이라는 불평등 대물림 단절이 동시에 진행되고 있음을 이 논문은 제시하고 있다.

청년층의 입직 및 이직 실태와 해소방안 탐색 (Exploration on the Youth Employee's Labor Mobility)

  • Using the data of Economically Active Population Survey and GOMS, we analyze youth employee's labor mobility. We found the causes of the youth employee's labor mobility as follows: work environment, salary, enterprise's vision, job satisfaction, job mismatching, organizational culture, mismatching of work and housing and so on. On the basis of results, we proposed a step by step solutions. The resulting policy implication is that rather than raising job finding rate of the unemployed youths, we need to focus more on reducing job mismatching.
