커널 수준의 침입탐지를 위한 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경기법의 설계 (Design of Dynamic Intrusion Detection Rule Modification Technique for Kernel Level Intrusion Detection)

  • 본 논문에서는 커널수준의 침입탐지를 위한 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 침입탐지 규칙은 규칙타입 프로토콜 타입, 패킷 헤더와 패킷 페이로드에 대한 검사를 수행하기 위한 규칙들로 세분화하여 LVR로 표현하고 이들 LVR이 계층적으로 구성된 IDRL로 관리한다. 침입탐지는 IDRL을 이용하여 수행하며, 규칙에 대한 변경은 변경된 규칙에 대한 LVR을 구성하고 LV를 이용한 포인터 변경을 이용하여 IDRL에 반영하는 방법이다. 제안하는 기법은 IDRL을 이용한 침입탐지와 탐지규칙의 변경을 IDRL에 최소한의 비용으로 수행하고, LVR을 이용하여 침입탐지 규칙을 디스크와 메모리에 동일한 형태로 저장 및 관리하여 탐지규칙 초기화 비용과 변경 비용을 최소화할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 보다 안전한 커널 수준에서의 네트워크 보안을 위한 효율적인 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경을 지원할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다.

Automation of a Teleoperated Microassembly Desktop Station Supervised by Virtual Reality

  • We proposed a concept of a desktop micro device factory for visually servoed teleoperated microassembly assisted by a virtual reality (VR) interface. It is composed of two micromanipulators equipped with micro tools operating under a light microscope. First a manipulator, control method for the micro object to follow a planned trajectory in pushing operation is proposed undo. vision based-position control. Then, we present the cooperation control strategy of the micro handling operation under vision-based force control integrating a sensor fusion framework approach. A guiding-system based on virtual micro-world exactly reconstructed from the CAD-CAM databases of the real environment being considered is presented for the imprecisely calibrated micro world. Finally, some experimental results of microassembly tasks performed on millimeter-sized components are provided.

Long term activity measurement of the primary circuit water on the LVR-15 research reactor

  • Activity measurement of the primary circuit water of fission reactors is one method that can provide early detection of a damaged fuel assembly in the reactor core. This is an important aspect in the safe operation of the reactor and for radiation protection of staff. Radionuclides in the primary circuit water are produced by the activation of stable nuclides and the fission of fissile nuclides, mainly the isotope 235U. In the LVR-15 research reactor, measurement of the activity of the primary circuit water has been regularly undertaken since 1996. A water sample is taken from the primary circuit every week and the activities are measured four days later using gamma spectrometry. The results of these long-term measurements from 1996 to 2022 are presented. The activity time dependences of the individual radionuclides are discussed in relation to fuel assembly damage and for events connected to contamination of the water by objects inserted into the primary circuit during experiments carried out near the reactor core.

A Self-Excited Induction Generator with Simple Voltage Regulation Suitable for Wind Energy

  • In this paper, a three-phase induction machine-based wind power generation scheme is proposed. This scheme uses a low-cost diode bridge rectifier circuit connected to an induction machine via an ac load voltage regulator (AC-LVR) to regulate dc power transfer. The AC-LVR is used to regulate the DC load voltage of the diode bridge rectifier circuit which is connected to the three-phase self-excited induction generator (SEIG). The excitation of the three-phase SEIG is supplied by the static VAR compensator (SVC). This simple method for obtaining a full variable-speed wind turbine system by applying a back-to-back power converter to a wound rotor induction generator is useful for wind power generation at widely varying speeds. The dynamic performance responses and the experimental results of connecting a 5kW 220V three-phase SEIG directly to a diode bridge rectifier are presented for various loads. Moreover, the steady-state simulated and experimental results of the PI closed-loop feedback voltage regulation scheme prove the practical effectiveness of these simple methods for use with a wind turbine system.

공매도거래와 주가하락 가능성에 관한 연구: 한국 주식시장의 경우 (Short Selling and Predictability of Negative Sock Returns: Evidence from the Korean Stock Market)

  • 본 연구에서는 공매도관련 거래활동이 주가하락요인으로 작용하는지를 파악하기 위해서 국내 주식시장의 자료를 활용하여 실증분석하였다. 표본 분석기간은 2005년 1월부터 2016년 3월까지이며, 이 기간 동안의 공매도거래비율을 기준으로 상위 10%, 상위 25%, 상위 50% 주식을 대상으로 각각 포트폴리오로 구성하여, 이 포트폴리오를 대상으로 분석하였다. 매도거래활동이 많이 이루어진 포트폴리오의 가치-가중 수익률과 해당 포트폴리오의 공매도거래활동과의 관계를 살펴본 것이다. 종속변수는 포트폴리오의 가치-가중 수익률에서 시장수익률을 뺀 고유수익률이다. 시장수익률은 KOSPI 지수 수익률과 KOSDAQ 지수 수익률의 시가총액 가중수익률로 사용한다. 종속변수는 포트폴리오의 공매도거래비중, 대차거래비중, 대차잔량비율 등을 사용한다. 종속변수들의 안정성을 위해서 각 변수를 차분하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 공매거래비중(${\Delta}SVR$), 대차거래비중(${\Delta}LVR$), 대차잔량비율(${\Delta}LIR$) 등과 같은 공매도관련 활동변수들은 주가고유수익률에 부(-)의 영향을 미치고 있음을 보였다. 따라서 공매도관련 활동은 주가하락을 초래한다고 할 수 있다. 공매도활동을 모두 설명변수로 추정한 결과의 공통점은 대차거래비중이나 대차잔량비율이 주가하락에 영향을 미치지만, 공매거래비중은 통계적으로 유의한 영향이 없다는 것이다. 이는 대차거래활동이 공매도활동보다 주가하락에 더 큰 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 의미한다.

SUPERCRITICAL WATER LOOP DESIGN FOR CORROSION AND WATER CHEMISTRY TESTS UNDER IRRADIATION

  • An experimental loop operating with water at supercritical conditions(25MPa, $600^{\circ}C$ in the test section) is designed for operation in the research reactor LVR-15 in UJV Rez, Czech Republic. The loop should serve as an experimental facility for corrosion tests of materials for in-core as well as out-of-core structures, for testing and optimization of suitable water chemistry for a future HPLWR and for studies of radiolysis of water at supercritical conditions, which remains the domain where very few experimental data are available. At present, final necessary calculations(thermalhydraulic, neutronic, strength) are being performed on the irradiation channel, which is the most challenging part of the loop. The concept of the primary and auxiliary circuits has been completed. The design of the loop shall be finished in the course of the year 2007 to start the construction, out-of-pile testing to verify proper functioning of all systems and as such to be ready for in-pile tests by the end of the HPLWR Phase 2 European project by the end of 2009.

Implementation and benchmarking of the local weight window generation function for OpenMC

  • OpenMC is a community-driven open-source Monte Carlo neutron and photon transport simulation code. The Weight Window Mesh (WWM) function and an automatic Global Variance Reduction (GVR) method was recently developed and implemented in a developmental branch of OpenMC. This WWM function and GVR method broaden OpenMC's usage in general purposes deep penetration shielding calculations. However, the Local Variance Reduction (LVR) method, which suits the source-detector problem, is still missing in OpenMC. In this work, the Weight Window Generator (WWG) function has been developed and benchmarked for the same branch. This WWG function allows OpenMC to generate the WWM for the source-detector problem on its own. Single-material cases with varying shielding and sources were used to benchmark the WWG function and investigate how to set up the particle histories utilized in WWG-run and WWM-run. Results show that there is a maximum improvement of WWM generated by WWG. Based on the above results, instructions on determining the particle histories utilized in WWG-run and WWM-run for optimal computation efficiency are given and tested with a few multi-material cases. These benchmarks demonstrate the ability of the OpenMC WWG function and the above instructions for the source-detector problem. This developmental branch will be released and merged into the main distribution in the future.
